PLO laid down arms recognised Israel but Israel never accepted a Palestinian state and continues to occupy Palestinian land in West Bank.
Guess what Fatah/ PA affirmed Israel's right to exist but they still dont get full statehood or freedom or security in their own lands (the 1967 borders internationall recognized by the US and Europe), free from daily violence and abuse from illegal Israeli settlers.

To understand this very long conflict, you first have to learn the known history. When I say history, I do not mean 100 years, you gotta go back 3700 years. And then you can cross reference the known history with the religious texts of the three religions. They imprison them in precaution to torture them into trying to reveal information about terrorists in that area even if these people don't know crap about anything. That being said, I feel like I always have to repeat that I am against what Hamas did when they attacked innocent people. Killing innocent people on either side is a war crime. I get the impression that he thinks a cease-fire means Israel has to agree not to come after Hamas but Hamas is allowed to keep attacking Jews until they're "annihilated". That's not what cease-fire means!
