So I've heard a lot of noise about the Hawks current win streak...and Listen..we all know that Nate is a better situational coach than Pierce was..it is what it is and he also runs a more diverse offense than Pierce did also... The starting line up was Young, Reddish, Hunter, Collins, Capela...then Capela got hurt again....the Line up changed to Young, Reddish, Hunter Gallo, Collins......no Snell...Rondo was in and out..No Dunn, ....The subs was Solomon, Velvet, and Bogi, Bruno, Goodwin......then ....all of a sudden all the vets got hurt at the sametime....all the basket ball IQ left That meant ....Young, Reddish, Hunter, Collins, Capella came back but was out of shape .....Bogi hurt, Gallo hurt, Rondo hurt, Snell Hurt, Dunn Hurt, Big O hurt......that meant we had the same team we had last yr...and they lost games just like they did last yr.... Young struggling on offense...Collins struggling on offense...Reddish taking bad shots...and just looking lost, Hunter was the only person that was balling out of control...then he got hurt... When Nate took over the young guys got hurt and the vets came back.......he been playing Young, Snell, Bogi, Hill, Capella, Velvet, Gallo... and now Sweet Lou.....the players on the floor now just seem to be playing with more IQ...along with great Coaching.....so its just diff
I'm with you about Coach McMillan. Our GM T. Schlenk is waiting to see down the stretch and seeing that we don't get swept in playoffs. That's why he was fired from the Pacers. That's what he's thinking. Yet what a game from Bogi, Goodwin, Capela, and we absolutely won the trade to get Lou. I agree, this team is honestly raising my eyebrows as far as playing harder under Nate. As always, #Truetoatlanta! 🏀💯
Absolutely! Then they could play Lou at the 2 & Goodwin has played well here of late. 2nd unit w/ Dunn, Lou, Cam, Gallo, Okongwu, not to mention Huerter...... Wow! Go Hawks!
The main reason I don't think nate is gonna win COTY is because with only counting the games he coached we would have the 5th best record in the nba. COTY is usually only for 1st and 2nd seeds. But if he wins it he 100% deserves it.
Right, he should be in conversation though. I'm gonna call it & say Monty Williams for the suns. Quinn snyder is up there too along with Doc rivers. I'm just glad it looks like we found our guy in Nate. 💯
