This was so fun to watch! Thanks for taking us along! I relate completely to your feelings of wanting your kids close and to hear from them at the end of the day. Mine are 14 and 12 and it hasn’t waned at all so thank you for being so open about that so I don’t feel so alone in it. So thankful you had a fun and safe trip!

Awww this is awesome! We’ve lived in the Columbus/Ft Moore area for the past 6 years. My husband recently retired from the army and is currently building our farm close by. I would have LOVED to have ran into y’all! Your TH-cam account was one of the first ones I found when we began homeschooling. Glad y’all enjoyed Georgia!

Hey, just found you guys on my algorithm and loved the video! Especially because I live in the burbs of SW Atlanta! So we are an hour away from Pine Mountain and love it over here. We love going to the “Little White House” and camping at FDR. I remember our Kansas family coming to visit when my nephew was 4 and when asked what he thought of Georgia he said “it’s so green!” 😂. Also, LaGrange is pronounced sounding like “range”. La gRANGE. Just thought you might want to know. Loved your video!

How cool. Yall are in my County.! We live 20 minutes from Pine Mt. We have yearly passes for Callaway. We have a beautiful county. Curt Cameron is at Callaway often. He and his wife fell in love with the area and host a camp for children each summer. JeffFoxworthy lives here too. Couldn't help but chuckle. Your pronounce Lagrange..Grange is like Range but a G. We have a friend who works at the Little White house . Columbus is where we shop. So much history around us. Nice to see my towns thru your eyes. And yes you will sweat like crazy here. Just a mile from you was Liberty Bell pool thats fed from a natural spring. Feels so good! Could share so much more with you!
We've been at Callaway Gardens when decorated for Christmas and it's beautiful. We stayed at the Lodge and had a wonderful time. Enjoy your time.
What a great trip! Hope your two oldest had an incredible encounter with the Lord during this week. We live in Florida and our church’s youth group goes to that same camp every year, and it’s always an amazing week for them in so many ways. My children are all still elementary ages so we have not yet experienced it in our family.
I love that you guys got to be close by when they were at the camp. It seriously sounds like such an amazing place!! Georgia looks beautiful!

La-Grange (like range but with a G) 🎉 I’m still so excited yall was so close and yes, the weather changes constantly here lol so glad yall are a great time and glad the kids bounced back from their colds. I live in East Tennessee and LaGrange is a days drive! So excited, my family and I have only been to Helen, Georgia but have wanted to visit other areas. So, you’ve given me lots of ideas. Loved all the shops, local coffee, and museums.
I agree about the weather. I’m always checking my weather app. They say if you don’t like the weather in Tennessee just wait 10 minutes 😂

You don't have fireflies? That just amazes me how much I take for granted here in Alabama. Weve stayed in the cottages at Calloway and it's really nice. Oh the sweat... it's disgusting. It wouldn't surprise if if the gardens didn't spray for mosquitos around the area.

This was fun to watch after seeing you at the Little White House! Our lake day was Tuesday. My aunt is a Callaway member and we had a cabana-we spent the entire day on a float and I had the sunburn to prove it! Such a sweet corner of the world. 🥰

I was shocked when you said 30,000 people was a small town. There are only 5,817 people in the town I liv in. Fire flies are an Eastern thing cause we have them in Maine too.

Fellow Michigander here (if you still consider yourself one after moving?)- we have fireflies in Michigan!! I am so curious what city you grew up in to not have seen them up here. Maybe you wouldn't in a bigger city?

The Bible history museum hosts homeschool days. As soon as you said you had family that lived around Atlanta, I knew it was Marietta!

@@marcellagamble6633 It’s the best value and way to do the museum, in my opinion. Otherwise, you have to pay extra for all the cool things they provide on homeschool days at a discounted price. They also do some extra stuff not otherwise offered. The downside is, it can be very crowded.

I just saw the Ripley's book at the museum and wanted to let you know that there's a Ripley's Believe It or Not here on the Oregon coast! I remember you saying you were heading there so wanted to mention it in case you're interested! It's in Newport. 😀
Completely random, but I wanted to tell u that I FINALLY tried BUILT bar 😉 It was actually BUILT PUFF. I was looking for sugar free & diabetic snacks for my husband & found them at WM! I’m going to order the bar bc I really think I’ll like the texture better, but… I honestly have to say that it’s the BEST protein/healthy bar I’ve ever had. Every other one I’ve tried is absolutely disgusting. Maybe If you have truly never had a good ‘ol southern desert lol maybe these other bars seem good… yuck! But the coconut BUILT PUFF absolutely hit the sweet spot with no after taste! I’m so glad I finally tried them. Worth every penny!!!! Can’t wait to try the bar texture 😍 Ty so much for recommending all those years ago!!!! 🧡

@@GraceandGritWe just moved to FL, but I’m GA born and raised. About 45 minutes north of LaGrange. (I’ve stayed in one of those cabins.) My town had 200 people, so LaGrange was big to us. By the way, the Callaway Christmas lights are probably worth another trip out in December (in my opinion). I’ve met folks down here in Florida who drive up to Callaway for the lights.
