I want to put aside the jokes for a moment and say how refreshing it is to see someone with a passion for these animals and their welfare rather than as an accessory or gimmick. Thank you, Ben, for showing people the good, bad, and ugly of animal rehab, and may your days be fulfilling all your life.
Big Pounce is a precious little meowster who I will cheer for each and every day thank you Uncle Ben for your continued supports of recovering sigmas everywhere
Uncle Ben not revealing a precious creature until it's healed so we don't get too attached and sad if it doesn't make it. And I will pray for that kibby. Bless you, sir.
My grandpa caught one of these on the bayou and gave it to me and my sis. We didn't know it was a bobcat. It just started getting huge and mean af before it ran off back to the bayou.
Rescued a groundhog the other day. Poor fella had a plastic jug stuck on his head. Got the heavy duty work gloves and set him free 👍 OMW to being a future rehabber like Uncle Ben.
Good job, but do be careful. Trust me, the gloves don't stop the pain. I had to relocate a groundhog out of our yard cuz our dog had it cornered, he bit the glove, didn't puncture, but still hurt like it did
Its crazy how far youve come from keeping animals in your backyard to having an entire property for them! Uncle ben has had a crazy journey and im glad to have been here for it, keep it up ❤
Thank you for cooking and catching the bobcat I was very hungry Uncle Ben I was literally starving so thank you Uncle Ben now I'll be helping you with all the chores❤
I’ve come close to giving up on humanity, but people like you, Ben, restore my faith and give me hope for a better world. Your kindness and care for all creatures show what a difference one person can make. Thank you for being a light in these times!

@@davidwells7279 Stay with it, David. I love Ben, too. If I had an extra life, I'd move to Texas and work alongside him. I can't think of much else more exciting and joyous than working with this spectacular menagerie. But at least we can all learn and grow by watching others perform acts of love and care. And faith in God is also a key to healing. By taking in the positive, we make less room for the negative.
Ben is truly doing what I can only describe as the Lords work- taking care of so many creatures 24/7, spending all of your money on rescue. What I'm striving to be; I want to be an exotics Vet 🙏

I admire how fun you make your work and I can tell you really love all these guys! I’ve worked with critters but dude you have so many and it’s a huge amount of work!!! Awesome job with the bobcat kitty!!! I’m so glad he was so young and you knew exactly what to do for the metabolic bone disease (unfortunately that happens way more than it should) it was wonderful to see how quickly the little guy healed under your care!!!! I love you , your sense of humor, your obvious love of all critters and that you share it with all us animal lovers!!!! My hats off to all Rehabber’s!!!! Keep up the good work! My first baby beaver came in in 1987 and I prayed another baby would come in so she’d have a buddy and my prayer was answered and not just one but three babies came in and they all loved each other!!!! It was a great experience! Thanks for all you do
I am amazed every time, I watch one of your videos. You have new critters getting better and you let the animals be together. The critters don't fight each other as a great sign of proper management.❤❤❤
I don't know why but the idea of the beaver going out to the wild for the first time with his wifey by his side to start their new and scary but nice life together is so sweet
Reptical is a hella universal supplement! Working at a nature center, I use it for almost everybody (herps, birds of prey, inverts). Our lady hawks especially get it during mating season. Good on ya for utilizing such an inexpensive product to help the critters too
Hey, I just saw your video and it's clear that you're taking great care of your bobcat! I recently learned that many animals, including cats and bobcats, need direct sunlight to get enough vitamin D because windows block most of the UVB rays. Outdoor time or special lighting might help, as I'm sure you want what's best for them!
We have a tortoise with 3 legs. We found him in our yard with a chunk of his shell missing. We live next door to a city park. We think when he was in the park, a lawn mower got him. Daughter has an animal science degree. She checked with her vet she works with on how to help him. It’s been almost a year now. The big hole on his back has almost healed with a small thin shell left. He has gotten spoiled. He thinks human means food. He sees daughter and he comes running. He now’s have free run of our fenced in back yard. We hunt him down when it’s time to mow. All we have to do is ring a bell, it means food and to move him for a short while. His name is Turtle Soup! The vet gave him that name when he first saw the vet.
I had a bobcat for almost twenty years.. found her as a kitten on side of the road.. me and my granddad were the only ppl that could touch her.. she hated being touch by anyone else.. my grandmother had scars all over her arms because she tried to pet her stomach once.. if my granny wasn’t such an animal lover I’d of gotten rid of er over that one but as long as you didn’t touch er she was cool.. like I said there was only two ppl she’d even let touch er.. at 19 she laid on the porch one day and just never got up again.. idk what killed her.. age?? She was pretty healthy. Her name was Powhackit.
