Great review ! I have two pairs of s-three with the BOA system, they are superb! My first one is nearly finished, after more than 120 rounds of golf plus the hours spent at the practice range. I’m going to buy another pair soon. Once you try an Ecco you are hooked by their quality!
Thanks, yes there's something about them, softness but also support, waterproofing but also breathable - I also just like the style, they look different, they don't copy anyone, or follow any trends. They're proper shoes.
My main go too were my Pro SL carbons and Gfore's..... but just got the Ecco Biom H4 and I'll probably never wear my Pro SL's again..... the comfort of the Eccos are night and day. I can walk all day the Ecco H4's. I'm not sure I would even consider another golf shoe after trying them. I tried many brands - Nike, Adidas boost, Footjoy, Under armor, Gfore, Puma, none are close in comfort and on performance end I have no complaints. I don't even think about them, they just work so well so you can focus on other important things in your game!
Thanks for watching by the way. And sorry I didn't include H4s in this review. I have done them before in one of my previous videos. Ecco just do shoes properly, there's no corner cutting to boost profits, using cheaper, inferior materials, everything is just optimised for comfort and performance.
@@golffm6924 very important question. My mother bought an ecco biom c4, but I don't play golf. Does it make sense to wear them in an urban environment or is it better to return them???
I don't officially know, but I would hazard a guess at - the year. They've not changed very much at all on S Threes since they came out and I would imagine this is how they differentiate the models from year to year.
I bought a pair of white C4. After only two months, the leather near the toe is turning gray. I've contacted Ecco and they are giving me a voucher for the same amount. I might try the S three.
Yes, they don't hold up particularly well I don't think, the S Three is a bit better I think in terms of retaining it's looks longer term but the only colours that really stand up to punishment are black, brown, navy and some of the darker greys.
Yes, in terms of the shape, but the C4 has a more 'structured' feel, it holds your foot in place more securely, so they do feel fairly different. The Biom Hybrid feels more relaxed in it's fit and is obviously lighter.
I take a 42 in Ecco, but I can get away with a 41 if I take the insoles out. However, I don't think they're any bigger than most shoe makes, because I also take 8 (42) in Footjoy - in Pro SL anyway. I would not recommend getting slightly bigger than you're thinking that's for sure. There's a decent chance they'll match up with what you take in most shoes and you've also got the added safety net of being able to make them a bit bigger by taking the insole out and still having a finished footbed to stand on.
Actual evidence somebody watched as far as 16 minutes. Hardly believed it possible. Thank you very much. Hopefully people will realise there’s a lot of ironic understatement throughout my videos, of which this is an example I’m very proud of.
Undeniably , ECCO fitting is one of the best in the world, but hoping they can find a way to get out of PU sole and most of all hire a good designer, especially on their athletic categories.
They're certainly the softest and immediately very comfortable but S Threes are pretty impressive I think, a bit more supportive feeling and C4s feel really stable and secure, if not quite as soft as the others.
@@golffm6924 C4s are a sttunner especially the boa version looks really really great but they kinda look too good almost. And they are very expensive I would have them for nice weather and some more prestigeous tournaments whereas tthe biom hvbrids are like my daily go to shoe that you don't worry too much about getting it dirty etc. Just a comfortable reliable everyday option and it's also breathable the gore tex c4 would probably cook my feet in the summer. Biom hvbrids have kept my feet dry and comfortable all year round for 3 years now.

I just tried on a pair of S three’s and then S-Three 23 which were more expensive but I liked the feel, what’s the 23 stand for?

great review thanks. Which model would keep your foot closer to the ground? I am coming from nike zoom shoes and I like that i am closer to the ground
Biom Hybrid I would say, not a lot in it but they have that feel a bit more.
Do the Biom Hybrid fit long like the C4?
Yes, in terms of the shape, but the C4 has a more 'structured' feel, it holds your foot in place more securely, so they do feel fairly different. The Biom Hybrid feels more relaxed in it's fit and is obviously lighter.
Which size do you recommend? I heard that they are bigger than the real size, is that true?
I am talking about the biom c4 boa*

H4 or C4? Which is better
C4 in my opinion
@@golffm6924thank man. What about the C4 vs the S3? Thank u

I know what you mean, Im not a lover of all of their designs but comfort wise they're always good.
Biom Hybrids are the best in my opinion newer designs don't feel as good.

Its Yak leather!
They certainly used to use Yak, but I had a feeling they had stopped using it for some reason, maybe not.
