I first heard Hole lead by my love for Nirava. Loved voice of her and that album with Violet. Not to mention the strong’Fucking Stay!’ Voice at Kurts Memorial. I went on with my life, relocated to Japan, worked, got married. In 2010, I decided to buy tickets for Summer Sonic music festival. Noticed that Hole is coming. I listened to the latest songs and this one just blew my mind. No the song will not get the same attention as 90s but by far this was a masterpiece. Still in 2024. Passing all 90s alternative music. This stands as one of my favorite song of all time.
I'm just so blown away by her all the time. This was such a great album. So much feeling. To me Courtneys lyrics are just way deeper and easier for me to connect with. She was everything I wasn't growing up and taught my a lot about not letting anyone fuck with me or take advantage of me. I never could say boo to my parents or anyone in my face. She was always my idol in the way where she was so outspoken and such a beautiful artist.
Say what you want to about Courtney Love the person but Courtney Love the musician kicks ass and this song is absolute proof of that. Wasn't really impressed with Nobody's Daughter but this might be one of Hole's best songs since some of the greats on Live Through This.
Pacific coast highway, never go hungry and for once in your life are great songs to. Though i agree that Samantha, nobodys daughter and skinny little bitch were awful

I can never imagine how Courtney, Frances and all of Kurt’s family and friends feel. losing someone because of suicide in my opinion is the hardest way to lose someone because they were in pain and you feel that you could’ve helped and made sure they would be alive still but they didn’t believe you could help so they did it themselves. I’m literally crying rn. I love Kurt, I never met him but I can’t imagine how sad they are. This triggers me so much because I have wanted to commit suicide before.

Also a lot of anger and attachment, but I don't think this woman deserves to be villified and blamed and I do not believe she had him killed, although I'm not convinced it was suicide either.
