A very good list. I have seen a lot of Port Perry and Bobcaygeon and Fenelon Falls as I live in Lindsay which is the middle ground of the three. Ontario has a good supply of towns like these. But often they get more and more remote. North of highway 7 and a line between Lindsay and Peterborough, Ontario rapidly becomes more wilderness than not. Ontario other than the urban sprawl along Lake Ontario is dominated by lakes and forest. You rapidly discover how true it is, that Canada has more lakes than the rest of the planet combined. The few roads south of the TransCanada highway, almost immediately become no roads. Most of Ontario is actually nearly impossible to get to easily. The only place on earth more remote, is Siberia.
Welllll To be fair, people who WANT small town life, DONT Want alot of people, the more remote it is the better... I found it really disappointing that this Vid, seemed to think that the only small towns worth mentioning, are there by Toronto, a City thats so big that I want nothing to do with it. I wouldnt want to live near THAT many people... not even 2 hrs away. I was really hoping this vid would showcase smaller towns more Northern.
"(Fill in the blank) is a picturesque town that has been steadily attracting new residents and is known for its unique charm and a strong sense of community...!" Same template for every town featured...lol
really should have titled the video ,,,, *10 best small towns in southern ontario* you southerners always forget there is a part of Ontario that actually is the larger part of ontario, which covers more than 800,000 square kilometres (310,000 square miles).
I reallllly think this title is mis leading,. you should have called it 10 towns near toronto. cause every one of these is within 2 hrs of there.... not All over Ontario like the title suggests., this is very disappointing,
