Chad man I'm new at jiu jitsu but I'd like to tell you that your videos have been very helpful. Now for the awkward part. I was looking around youtube to improve my jiu jitsu knowledge outside of my gym and got across you and chew. You were the first BBJ practitioner that I could relate to because of your bodytype . I too am skinny and tall (6"2,1.70lb) and learning a few things here and there from your channel really helps me . The other day, I saw your black belt promotion and the things you said (getting through difficult times with bjj, depression etc) just swept me off my feet. In the past , I had a depression problem as well . I wasn't eating anything, went down to 130 lbs didn't sleep etc ,you know the drill. Anyhow , I just wanted to say you're a big inspiration and I wish you the best. Keep the channel growing!
Sin The Demon thanks for the support! It means the world. I am glad that things are going better for you. Jiujitsu changes lives and having good people to be around helps.
Wow I just literally just came here from a question I asked on your Instagram about this, such a simple trick I can’t wait to try it! Hopefully this saves my neck and back! Mega thanks dude
This is an important video. As a white belt i got injured more than once by this and to get injured in this position is kinda serious. Its your freaking neck taking all of that force! Simple idea with profound benefits. Appreciate your time on this sir! Ill keep it in mind
Thanks man I've been stacked twice in 2 weeks by the same bigger stronger guy and I was unable to finish the choke I'm gonna try this thank you so much!
What a small detail for such an important outcome. Does this concept work against double unders (after they've lifted your hips up)?? Also as an aside that I just realized while typing this comment: I forgot I watched this video, but I used this concept to neutralize a triangle stack and finish recently. So somehow I watched your video, forgot I even watched it, but still applied the general principle to achieve my intended result. The brain is so weird lol. Great video and teaching style, keep it up Chad.
Wish I had seen this prior to yesterday. Got stacked in the triangle and had to cancel my overtime for today and regular shift for tomorrow (fireman). My back is destroyed. Being new at this and 58 probably doesn't help. Now I have a great new technique and looking forward to trying it out.
Thanks for this video Chad. I play guard and triangle and can get lots of people in triangle but they always stack me out of it. Today I was stacked while trying the triangle and I pulled a muscle under my shoulder. Basically couldn’t roll any more and can hardly move at the moment. I should have let go. I came across your video and will try this technique. I will let you know how I go.
@@TakeFlow1 To be honest, I still got stacked. I almost have given up on this one. I can nearly get anyone into a triable from playing spider, but I am so reluctant due to this issue.
Vagabond Soul don’t forget to stomp the groin (see master Ken instructionals on this) and rip out the intestinal tract so as to feed it to the victims next of kin.

This is my favorite kind of bjj video. Amazing how the slightest change makes so much difference. Love it.
This is going to save my neck hardcore.

Exactly. That's why I never slap on a triangle on a big athletic new white belt. They can hurt you.
pisses me off that this little detail is never instructed also the shoulder walk with it
Thanks Chad!Your videos are always fun, instructional and more importantly for me highly motivational- especially when injured!!!!
So simple... Thanks Chad!
Thanks for sharing!
My instructor told us to shoulder walk backwards to prevent the stack, but why not both! :)
This is SUCH A GOOD TIP! thanks so much
Thanks man I've been stacked twice in 2 weeks by the same bigger stronger guy and I was unable to finish the choke I'm gonna try this thank you so much!
Yesssss! Been waiting for this one. Thank you kindly Chad appreciate what you are doing. Keep up the good work. OSS

Wow, so simple yet effective, thanks!

how'd it go?

If you get to a mounted triangle, it's customary to kimura the trapped arm while you're squeezing the blood out of their brain
Vagabond Soul don’t forget to stomp the groin (see master Ken instructionals on this) and rip out the intestinal tract so as to feed it to the victims next of kin.
Hi Chad, great video, not so sure about pushing your right leg tho, what if he pull his arm out?
Damn, that was great! I get stacked everytime, will try monday and see, hehe
But, if you try and put hands under leg to create that angle, you already precent the stack?
Prevent*
Wow just use two frames ! Genius!
Ur the freakin man. THANK YOU
ohmygoshthankyou!
Hell yes
I knew the 1st arm technique but not the 2nd. All I need to do know is hit some actual triangles.
Wow
The black belt reminds me of Snafu from The Pacific
genius
nice chest
Great video until it blew my ear drums out with the music at the end
