Thanks for the interesting video of Tarxien temples, what a lovely historical sight& the beautiful old cemetery with its dodgy stairs, well done, brother in law lives next Road.
That was an excellent video Steve and what a facinating place you took us to. Its so amazing the history and wonderful, places to visit on beautiful Malta. i really enjoyed that video.
Hi Steve👍 ,thanks ,😃it really was an interestring video from Maltas history,(also the cemetery lol)💃 but I have not been there🌈,and the Maltese history is amazing/😎from Copenhagen DK 🇩🇰
That was great Steve. Living in Australia we don’t get to see any ancient sites like the Tarxien Temples. I look forward to exploring Maltas Historic sites when I finally come back . Amazing places that still haven’t given up all their secrets.
THAT'S AN EXCELLENT" TWO FOR THE PRICE OF ONE" STEVE🚶 🎥 👏. Never knew that beautiful old cemetery existed 😲. As to unique sacred "Tarxien Temple" it's sure looking tidy & 'visitor friendly' nowadays. THANKS for the tours Steve 🙏. Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ♥ 🇺🇦
@@EnglishmaninMalta Oops, slip of the tongue, I meant "Tarxien Temples", it's slightly smaller than "HQ" but similar. Shows you how long it's been since my last visit "1997"!. ANYWAY, STEVE, IF IT MADE YOU LAUGH THEN I'VE ACHIEVED SOMETHING TODAY 😂 🤣 😂. JUST RELAX🧘♂️ .... THANKS - KEEP UP THE G👀D WORK 🚶🧗♂️ 🌿 🌊 ☀ ☔ 🎥 👏 Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ♥ 🇺🇦
Interesting video, Steve, last time I was there, some walkways were in place but no canopies, so it's good that the temples are being protected now from the elements. The site is fantastic, so thank you for reminding me how good it is to see again. I dont know how I missed seeing the big cemetery next door, that also looked peaceful and seems an apt place to be next to the temples. Thank you again, Steve.
My daughter in laws family live on the road leading to the temples. I didn't know there was a cemetery. My son is buried in his wife's family plot at Addolorata. The temples is a nice place to visit by the looks....never been. I've shared on my fb xxx
Love to see these places, very fascinating, especially pleased to see this one as I think this is the only one we have not been to..Always promised ourselves to visit this but have never made it.. Great work Steve thanks 🙂👍
Fascinating Steve , the last time I was over there I meant to pay it a visit but somehow gave it a miss , there was an interesting programme on the telly a few months ago about a link between the temple builders and the earliest records of farming in Britain , they reckoned that a climate catastrophe in the northern hemisphere forced the Maltese and Gozitan farmers to migrate .
very nice video . those pair of salamoniac columns look very interesting, wish somebody post an old photo of them in their original place. the music at the end was very suitable , would like to know its name and composer. cheers.
It's very different to how it was years ago. There didn't used to be the walkways and canopy, and you could get right down in to the temples. I get it's to preserve them for future generations, but sadly you loose something of the experiance. There's a very special feeling you get actually walking in the ancients footsteps. There was only one other family there when we visited all of those years ago. It's such a shame that a lot of folk don't take much interest in these things.

Great video! When I was there in 1996 it didn’t have the cover or walkway. We walked there from the family house in Paola.
Sure the cover will make a difference to preserving the stones
How very interesting Steve! Really enjoyed it.Thankyou.
