When exporting large numbers of layer files, I have found it a bit faster overall (tho a bit less automated) to duplicate batches of the layers into a new file and export from there. Exporting layers to files also seems to include a process of hiding every individual file and folder other than the one being exporting at that moment, adding a large amount of dead time between exports. Batching the files out seemed to reduce this overhead, which might save some people time if they aren't wanting to leave it to work on its own for a long time.

Hello, i have a quick question. Is it possible to just manually upload finished nfts(instead of layers)/manually upload and write metadata when uploading to candy machine? If so would it be possible to use the program to generate the rarity chart without having the layers but just from manually writing the metadata and pressing save? Thanks for your videos!

Hi great video! I have a question, If I want to add 1 of 1 nft's to my collection, Can I just remove 1 picture from the "build" folder, Put my 1 of 1 picture, and change the .json traits to "1 of 1 trait?
Hey Daniel, Great video as always. I hope you can answer one question for me. The rarity weighting seems to have some random factor? I have one project, some weights are 2 and the rarity comes out at 6% and anothe one weight at 6 and the rarity comes out as 4%, thats not what I expected. On a test I set 3 items at all 10 each and the rarity came out as 50% then 30% then 20%, shouldnt they all be about 33%? I want to properly control the rarity but the system seems to randomize it, is this expected behaviour.

I agree. I have one collection where one layer didn't appear in the collection once even though it is weighed higher than the "most rare" layer.
We put the videos of the 10k NFT series that we sell on fiver on our youtube page, and we earned 4 digits of dollars. of course thanks to hash lips :)

I only get the info about rarity of one imagine that I put in the "Creates an additional 100 artworks". How can I see that for every picture?

Hey, nice video !! just noticed looks like the metadata generation code has issue for solana, instead of the 0.png for uri and image it sets image.png which is wrong as it wont work for the candy machine as it expects numbers, it is very easy to fix by just using _edition as prefix for .png some thing like:
_edition + ".png"

Got stuck at at 18:34min in (generating your own NFT's) - seems simple with hindsight (i'm a newbie!) , but in case it helps - create a new terminal and file > save THEN do the 'npm run generate' thing :)

hey :) I have 18 totally different charaters,each char has 5 layers. how can i get, 1x whole set for each charater then 18x 4/5 of set ,36x 3/5, 72x 2/5 .... for each charater, at end 1/5 half collection totaly mixed, i tryed in few ways but i get so many duplicants and so many folders, is there any easier way ... thanks

You need to build a community and not expect to just create a bunch of assets just to sell

hello i have a question, when using hashlips art engine all files are created starting from number 1, if i create 5 files then the numbers used will be sequential. how do i manage to be able to create a new file with number starting from 6 not from number 1 anymore?
How do i update the name of each generated image instead of just #1 - #2 etc? so it could be as example Tiger #1, #2 etc.

Hi Daniel. I think there is a huge demand for a background layer being in a gif format.
You could do that further with a program like photoshop

Hi great vid but I have an issue with installing Node, I download the Node v14 like you said but you have to unzip it. Once unzipped there are no install files and none of the files can be opened, using windows, please help! thanks

I have total 4 layers each layer contain 10 images (10x10x10x10) (each and every image is like "imagename"#100.png there is no rarity in image)and I want total 10000 images in output. But final output is "You need more layers or elements to grow your edition to 10000 artwork". I tried multiple times result is always less than 10000. Please help me
