I am new to NFT this week and have slept very little. I want to learn how to make a large NFT collection to start and then launch featured paintings / art later. new to coding. I too have a finance background for +.30yrs but this looks like a great thing away from all the excel sheets. You are a great help to this new NFTer

Hey HashLips thank you for sharing this, really appreciate. Is there a way to handle conflicts with this script? ie checks when two images aren’t meant to layer on top of each other, and removes the ability for that combination to be generated
I was having such a hard time running npm. I just kept getting errors but after watching this video when you said to download node version 14. It worked perfectly. No problem.. Thank you a ton!!

Loving your tutorial series! Would you be up for doing a video on Provenance Hash with the NFT collection? Think of the random order of deployment conundrum and the ability to manipulate the baseURI in the contract. How Bored Ape Yacht Club were able to use a Provenance Hash preMint to domonstrate the collection was not manipulated in any way after the mint event. Be cool to explain how that is even possible with NFT collection of say 10,000

1) I found that every time I generate more artwork, additional 1000, the first 1000 will be changed, did I do anything wrong?
2) May I know is it possible to generate meta data of "name" sequentially from a list of excel? eg, "NFT #1 - my name", while my name is from the excel list of the #1 item.

hello, i loved the video but i have one question, is there anyway that we could change the code and put gifs layers to generate working GIFs, i tried but the results are non working gifs, please let me know if you have a solution
I had enough layers (5 categories with 6 background, 1 main character, 9 headwear, 13 glasses, and 14 accessories- thats 5 x 6 x 1 x 9 x 13 x 14 = 49140) and wanted to create 10000 NFT but the code was giving me an error that I need more layers if I want to generate 10000 images. Can you please advise why is that? I tried increasing uniqueDnaTorrance to 1,000,000 but still same issue. Then I added just 4 more layers to the background and it worked. Just trying to understand what happened.

What do you do if there are different bases and they only work with specific traits? Is there basically a way to create a path in terms of what a layer can and cannot use? Or would it be easier to generate each different base with the traits one at a time?

He talks about rarity at 19:45. Basically you add "#" and then the % rarity you want for that particular image in that layer

My only concern is that whether the code will always pick one of the pictures in a layer based on the weights. cuz I don't want to have a blank layer. Thanks.
Is there anyway I can utilize folders within folders for layers? Example: I need to have it generate male and female in a folder like this:
Layers -> Gender -> it picks an image from either the Male artwork folder or Female artwork folder
s there a way to disable a folder if the generator selects a certain folder that would overlap two elements? for example, I have a composition with female hairstyles that go well with hats and other accessories but the male hairstyles that I've designed don't fit.
I'm open to other suggestions as well.

Please can you help as I got stuck at the last stage at grow edition size, when i increased it to 10 and ran the command, it always gave me 5 editions. I want to use a layer that wont be used with 2 other layers - otherwise it clashes.
For example.
I have a helmet that is taking up lots of space on the artwork so I dont want this helmet to be mixed with any clothes layers.
But it can be mixed with background, mouth, and bottom.
How do I do it?

How can i change the weight/rarity of a layer rather then specific traits within a layer? for example I have 5 layers, one is accessories and I don't want an accessory to be present in every single output.

Is there a way to generate actual gif's of moving characters, not just the construction of the NFT? Say you have 4 frames of a layer and you have different variations of this layer, is there a way to generate this?

Please incorporate a .gif generator. Being able to layer .gifs with transparent backgrounds with constants such as (duration, fps) would be just amazing. We really need a free service that can do this.
I tried it out and the images are in low resolution, are there any ways to increase the resolution of the generated image?
Can you select a specific trait for a certain number of iterations? Say if I have a folder of eyes and I want to print out one specific eye at least 5 times and then it becomes random again. Is this possible?

when i generate my nfts the build's resolution becomes really bad even tho the images in the layers are perfectly fine. Does someone know why?
HashLips Greetings! Video educational. Any ideas. I have layers of 10,000 images. The pictures have cigarettes, a body, hats and glasses. When the code is run, it loops through all the layers. How to make him, let's say, throw back his hats and draw only glasses on his body? Then I added hats and glasses. Then he kept drawing the body, hat, glasses and a cigarette. And finally how to make it draw just a body without attributes??? The option to comment out or delete the code is not suitable. If we comment out the layers then it won't draw them. Then the question arises how to combine metadata?

I'm currently trying to generate an NFT collection, I have inputted all of my files correctly however, in the build folder I am only able to see my last layer instead of all of my layers, the metadata is completed with all layers showing in there. I hope you can help me fix these problems it'd be much appreciated!

i found a fix for a similar issue i was also having, i mistakenly saved the image file with its own independent background that was overlapping the entire image, making it unable for me to see anything but the last layer. every image file i made has this layer problem, but erasing everything in the background but the image itself solved my issue, hope this information helps with figuring out what might be wrong with your problem aswell.
Instead of exporting my drawings to the folders as a .png, I exported them as .psd to the file. Then in the file, I converted those .psd again to .png and it worked! Hope that resolves your issue

ive done everything but the node_modules are not appearing in the folder, i have node v14.18.1 and hashlips art engine v1.1.2 ; i get "npm ERR! missing script: generate" and

Hi Amazing tutorial. The only part I do not understand is how to add my own layers, when i add my layers and did the name changes in the config file and npm run generate I get an error and it shows my path as this: 'C:\\Users\\kylej\\Desktop\\hashlips_art_engine-1.1.2_patch_v1/layers/Eyeball/' How do i get it to not go into this "eyeball" folder?
I get this same error. I change the folders in the Layers folder to match the layers in .config. I can't find any code referencing "Eyeballs", yet it keeps failing! Help please! Love the tutorials!
