- Hey guys I wanted to share what my commute looked like during our snowstorm in Seattle, WA. 22 inch wheels with 265 fronts and 295 rears. Pirelli Scorpion P-Zero all season tires handled decently in the snow and ice. We received over 9 inches of snow, which is the most in over 50 years! The SVR handled great in the snow for the most part!
I'm surprised, I'd have never guessed 9 inches of snow, the most in 50 years there, I mean you guys are situated slightly more north than I am on the shores of Lake Ontario but we get what's known as lake effect storms, so we get a foot or two at a time when we get hit hard... and nothing melts lately because it's well below freezing for weeks at a time so every additional inch piles up. I buy vehicles with at least decent ground clearance because when the snow plow hasn't made it to your street you can find yourself plowing into the snow instead of riding over it. This prolonged cold weather also makes the electric vehicles range disappointing (or so I've been told). Heard the recent news that JLR wants to electrify their lineup in the next few years, maybe that's not something we want to celebrate. :)
