@@ascarby Well I may need the contrast to highlight certain structures for my condition. I guess that the harm from the CT radiation and Iodine contrast would be less than MRI gadolinium. As long as you only get a couple CT scans per year. So do you believe FDG is less harmful than Iodine contrast?

Is CT contrast just as bad as MRI contrast?
it can be, depends if it's FDG or iodine-based contrast agents. Either way, we know that CT scans are not good as they use ionising radiation.

@@IntrepidDivergence as far as I can tell, there isn't as much research on this. I don't know.
