And when the doors close behind her and he is left outside inconsolable, it will shatter your heart as he cries out "I'm such a good dad! Same, I was pro life for myself but pro choice for others, coz I didn’t want to judge or it’s non of my business…. But how can we think, I would never kill but I’m ok with other people killing! I’m pro life all the way around…. Coz there is no excuse for an abortion!theres plenty of contraceptives that work, there’s plenty of resources to give birth and put up for an adoption….but no, there is never good enough reason to kill a baby

    • @maargenbx1454
      @maargenbx1454 3 วันที่ผ่านมา

I’m still pro choice, although I myself could never have an abortion.
I ABSOLUTELY CANNOT condone using law to force a woman to gestate against her will.
What we need to do is support women so they don’t see abortion as a “solution” - give them much better actual solutions!
What I can’t understand is why people who say they care so much about abortion don’t do everything possible to mitigate the reasons women get abortions.
It’s been shown that the places with lower abortion rates aren’t the ones with bans, they’re the places with strong social economic safety nets.
Why aren’t people who want fewer abortions fighting to create a society where *everyone* has accessible, affordable, publicly funded healthcare as a right?
Why don’t anti-choice people fight for widely accessible, affordable publicly funded birth control and family planning?
Why don’t anti-choice people fight for publicly funded higher education, job protections for pregnant women, family leave acts?
I’m firmly on the political left. I don’t want a dog-eat-dog society where everyone is left to their own devices, I want a society where we all pitch in and take care of each other.
I am a high earner with no children (and no abortions - I could never do that) so my taxes are pretty high already, but I absolutely wouldn’t object to paying more taxes to set up all the programs I mentioned above, which by the way, all exist in many other countries.
What I can’t do is insist on seeing women in financial distress, devoid of hope, facing so many challenges, and then judge her for what she does when there’s one more situation that will create even more hardship.
Everyone who makes the choice to prohibit women from getting abortions has to live with the responsibility of that decision. We can’t just force gestation and birth onto others, then walk away feeling righteous. We need to do a lot more than that.
People who insist on passing abortion bans which don’t work to lower abortion rates while impeding implementation of social programs that do lower abortion rates are part of the problem - not the solution.

@@maargenbx1454 there is plenty of resources for women who can’t afford to have a baby, PLENTY!!! And pro life people donate to those resources!
We don’t kill our existing kids when we have financial problems, why do we think it’s ok to kill the ones that are most vulnerable? And this is not about judging women! We don’t judge the ones who get abortions, we want them to see what abortion actually is,that it’s not a clamp of cells and biological dispose, these are babies! Most women don’t even know what abortion actually is, they are mislead, and we can see that in this video! Instead of promoting abortion, What I would suggest, why not make birth control more affordable for women, like IUD for example or any other…. That way there would be MUCH LESS abortion ! What kind of society are we if we are ok with killing unborn/unprotected children?
Also, our taxes are already pretty high and everyone in this country should have resources they need, but our governments choose to fund wars in other countries instead of taking care of their people… but that’s a slightly different topic

@@faithoreilly i will never for them to be involved in an abortion with my knowledge. caring for that child or giving it up for adoption are the only answers. abortion is never a solution.
the first thing you have to teach them is not get a woman pregnant unless they are hopefully married, or atleast in a committed relationship.
my wife and i were married 7 years before we had mathew (our 13 year old). we are still married, just had our 20th anniversary. that's another important thing, that the boys see their parents still together and usually happy (nothing is perfect) after 20 years. the abortion nonsense has also been fueled by dissolving the nuclear family structure in our country. somehow "hookup" culture is considered "normal", it shouldn't be.
i also think it's part of a sick agenda. push abortion, homosexuality, and this transgender lie and what do you have, the reduction of the American population (particularly white people). bring in illegal immigrants, make them citizens outside of the normal process and what do you end up with? american citizens being minorities in our own country, they bring customs in that are not compatible with our own. what we will end up with if this doesn't stop wont end well.

It's not just believers and being saved. Part of God's Plan is organizing us into families to care for each other in this life and the next. We cannot change our parents, nor our children, and are bound to each other in that regard. We will face them on the other side, and part of Judgement will be how we manifested our faith in fulfilling our familial duties. And as a survivor of CSA+, courtesy of my parents? I am not looking forward to being stuck with them for eternity. Forgiveness doesn't erase what they stole from me, nor can I separate from the fact they also gave me life and am considered a blessing to them.
It's messed up, from our mortal perspective. All I can hope and pray for is justice and that we won't be working with them forever. No matter what I do, according to Christian theology I am damned. Hell and eternal torment if I sin or revel against the Word, or if I follow Christ and somehow obtain Heaven, then it's being surrounded by happy families while dealing with mine.

If that's the case, I would like to gently encourage you to look at other denominations, religions, or even step back from religion as a whole if that's where your heart is. There is no god worth worshipping and praising that would sentence a victim to an eternity with their abusers. That is not loving, nor is it forgiving, kind, and perfect. It is evil.

    • @Undomaranel
      @Undomaranel 4 วันที่ผ่านมา +3

@@just-a-generic-username That's Christian theology. I've done my research fam, far more than just LDS. That's Biblical. Why else do you think Christ expects us to forgive seventy times seven without exception, especially those who betray you? Why do you think He set that example for us at His end with Judas and Peter? Because God knew we would have to endure eternity among people, be it in Hell or Heaven, who did us dirty. The only thing keeping us worthy then will be how we respond, and the best training for that is mortality where we know we can have forgiveness if repentance is sincere. Even media depictions of Heaven joke about conflicts, be it Tom and Jerry to the Simpsons.
Ultimately the only person you can control is yourself, and moving past mortal strife is kind of the whole point of Christian theology... more so when titles like mother and father are forever. And no, as much as that church would want to claim it, the honor of being a mother and father is far more than some temple covenant or ritual, as immortalized in the Ten Commandments and before that with Adam and Eve. We WILL face those we lived among during life. We WILL be judged on how we treated them. They WILL be judged on how they treated us. And each of us will be held accountable for any ill will or fear we held onto rather than turning our pain over and allowing forgiveness and love to transform us.
Don't believe me? Go ask anyone in clergy. This is a "pearls before swine" teaching that's often buried due to it being unpopular, a "milk before meat" deal. But it's there baked into the doctrine by the religion's own Savior and God. Heaven isn't just some paradise and rest where you're alone, the New Testament speaks of rooms prepared in the mansions of God for everyone who makes it... aka your neighbors. And if you don't love your neighbor as you are commanded to love yourself? If you don't forgive them for their human faults? If you can't restore the broken family torn apart by human temptations? Then you will not be a good neighbor in Heaven's mansions. You will be lukewarm and spat out. It's all there for those with ears to hear. And for the Mormon perspective, pray about it and see what the Holy Ghost confirms to you. Why else did God still communicate with David and Solomon despite the disgusting murder and sex and lies and deception and weaponizing innocent people? Because to Him sex and murder are animal things. They're only unforgivable in the sense that you permanently affect other's lives and steal that from God. Other than that, they're just more expected sins that we are supposed to learn how to overcome... and if you still don't believe that reread Elijah and Elisha, Jeremiah, and the Apostles among the Gentiles. It's all there, abhorrent as it is to our mortal bodies to realize.

I needed to see this. A family member of mine is an abortion survivor and her mother has loved her every single day. She is the biggest blessing of our entire family and I cannot imagine our lives without her. I hope she never finds out that she survived an abortion, because knowing that it could make her question her worth, or her "right" to exist would be horrible. No one has ever regretted her being with us. She has been treasured and loved dearly, and I am SO glad that she fought to survive. Thank you for sharing these stories.

So incrediblly moving. The love of Jesus that shines in these women bring tears to my eyes. I just want woman to see the horrific truth of abortion so they can find forgiveness if theyve participated in it. As a christian who is publicly prolife, I was told by another christian that I was shaming women by speaking about my prolife stances and implying that "stereotypical evangelicals" like me should not speak out if they havent had abortions. I'm still genuinely shocked when i hear christian women supporting abortion and hearing this conversation stirs up that conviction even more. The pain these women have gone through is tangible and there is absolutely no room in Christianity for this bloody industry.

Jesus said to his apostles, “Suffer not the Children to come unto me, for such is the kingdom of Heaven. He was saying to his apostles to let the children come talk to him, when they were crowded around him. The apostles thought only mature (understanding) people should be near him. However, he explained that in heaven, there are far more innocent children in heaven than mature people. Take comfort in knowing you will be with them someday. In a happier place.

After her deliverance she was caught up to Heaven and held her baby. She was rocking back and forth as she was holding her baby. The Pastor asked her, "Is baby mad?" Her answer was no, baby was not mad. This woman received incredible healing as she held her baby and knowing she would see that baby in Heaven one day.

Also, it’s held up as a woman’s right, her body, her choice, but many women are actually pressured into abortion or downright forced by boyfriends, husbands, and their own parents and families! Sure, there might not be many situations in the US where woman are physically restrained and forced onto an operating table (though I’d wager it does happen), but many women are trapped in extreme imbalances of power and are manipulated into thinking they have no choice. A fourteen-year-old whose parents tell her she’s going to have an abortion has very little recourse to refuse, for example. She might not even have access to a phone or the internet, and is completely dependent on her parents. She could run away, but what if she lives in a rural area and has no way to get to a place where she could get help?
As a child I distinctly remember eavesdropping on a conversation between my mother and another woman and that woman said her young daughter had gotten pregnant a decade earlier, and that she’d made her get an abortion. Her tone and the context of the conversation made it very obvious that the decision was made for the daughter by the woman. It was not the girl’s choice regarding her body or between “the girl and her doctor.” The mom unilaterally decided and had it done.

    • @andrewdonohue1853

@biblia843 it's despicable that this happens, outside of keeping the baby the only other conversation that should be had is adoption. Adoption needs to be inexpensive and accessible. If you can prove to able to provide a steady income, housing and food should be all that should be required

Abortion survivors are Gods direct way of giving us the opportunity to see our flaws, and the pain we've inflicted upon the innocent. The choice to choose change is the blessing, and the reward for choosing life is salvation! 💝
I was instructed that I should terminate my pregnancy twice throughout the pregnancy due to my child's medical diagnosis. I prayed and prayed for protection over my child, a perfect birth later and some slight medical accomodations and here my baby is today growing running and playing just as any child does.

Here's a thought: How about instead of our government funding abortions, they start encouraging adoption? With a breaking heart and tears in my eyes, I want to thank you for this series.
I was told that I should have been aborted due to medical complications. I’ve even been told that as an adult. Yet I’m living a wonderful life, with a husband and children of my own, and am grateful for parents that didn’t listen to doctors.
An added note, I’ve been told that the children that I’ve fostered should have been aborted to not strain “the system”. Who on this earth can look at a child and say that they shouldn’t be alive?!?! Because that’s what they are saying when using the phrase“should have been aborted”. Really?!

    "Nikki
I also had 3 abortions and then had a son. Now no longer an atheist & now Catholic I have so much regret and deep sadness that I doubt will be healed on this side of the veil." Nikki, I pray you see this. There is forgiveness in the Lord Jesus Christ. Confess your sins to God and He will forgive you. Do not confess to a priest. God sent His Son to die on the cross for our sins. Jesus shed His divine blood for sinners. He came to seek and save the lost.

i feel so bad for Gigi. I can tell she is in a lot of pain and still going through the healing process. She has to live with the fact that she had 5 abortions. That's a tough reality to face. But if she has accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and it sounds as if she has, then she is Forgiven and Loved by the Savior and will meet her children someday in heaven. I salute you, Gigi! Very brave of you to speak up. God Bless you!

I really appreciate this series of vulnerable interviews. Thank you for sharing.
I also want to encourage Christians to vote for the most pro life candidate which is DJT. He may not be a Christian or be as against abortion as we wish, but at least he recognizes the evils of late abortion and at least he supports states as having the right to fashion their own laws.
To not vote is to vote so please support the better choice.

These kinds of conversations need to be had and heard! It's sad most people these days refuse to have any kind of real dialogue around this topic.
I remember when I was pregnant with my oldest at 20 and I was asked "So what are you going to do?"
I responded with "What do you mean?"
Her: "I mean what are you going to choose? Keep the baby, have an abortion or give the baby up for adoption?"
Me: "I'm going to keep the pregnancy. I may consider adoption, but abortion isn't an option."
She was surprised and told me any of the 3 options were perfectly acceptable. Abortion was never an option for me. I've been pregnant 5 times- but I have 3 living children. My other two passed away in my womb. There isn't a day that they are thought about, that I don't miss them. Even my 9 YO who knew about one of the losses (she was 4) still talks about her sibling once in awhile. She misses her brother/sister just like my husband and I. She was so excited to be a big sister only to experience the loss of a sibling days later. It was heartbreaking. To say that my child wasn't a child, that my baby didn't/doesn't matter is absurd. That child was VERY loved and wanted! He/she is missed, and mattered. Both of my deceased children matter, and are loved.
Abortion is not "perfectly acceptable". It shouldn't be. Yet, for some reason our society is brainwashed into believing babies in the womb aren't babies and therefore don't have the right to life. 🤢💔
I want to be clear: I'm not saying miscarriage is the same as an abortion or should be treated as such. What I'm saying is: if you argue that a baby isn't a baby or that he/she doesn't matter because of how small he/she is, then you are arguing that all small children who lost their lives in the womb- regardless of how or why- are insignificant and therefore invalidating the pain I or many other women feel. All human lives matter no matter how small, or how short. God gave those 5 precious souls to me and 2 He called back to Him. Their lives mattered.

I had a family member who had abortions like dental work. Happened once every few years. I get that a woman doesn't want to raise a child when they can't care for themself. However, it's ridiculous to allow this to continue time after time. To use it as a back up plan for bad choices.

And this is why Abolitionists and pro lifers will never agree. Pro lifers are very lenient on the women, seeing them as having no agency, as if they are children. No conseuquences. Abolitionists believe that murder should have conseuquences

Washington? I don’t doubt it…Lived there for 12 years. The only Planned Parenthood I’ve ever seen was when we got groceries from a low income grocery store, in a poor neighborhood. Not a ritzy place in the middle of downtown…Sanger’s plan of targeting the vulnerable and poor is still going strong! 😑
I’m sorry about your boys ❤ You did all you could for them ❤ You’re a good mom. 🫂
