Absolutely the greatest model railway layout, sorry, model world layout I have ever seen. The man hours it must have taken to construct all of this is unbelievable. I have watched this video many times before but never realised that it was over 4hrs long. It is simply stunning. Is this still a work in progress or the final result? Pure genius. Thank you to all the modellers involved in constructing this and also to Pilentum for producing such a beautiful video record of it. A thing of beauty. I'm sure I will watch this many times more. Thank You.
It's a work in progress still, they just opened there newest section, Rio de Janeiro and are building a Monaco section with a working racetrack (!) and are planing to add more sections in the future. Look up Miniatur Wunderland, that's their TH-cam channel (most of it is in German, but there are English subtitles)
I visited this year ago, and i loved it. Night/Day showing was amazing. How they had made the model when it was in "fire" in a building in a town was amazing, Lightning of the builing made it look like a fire. firetruck arrived and did their work. Very very impressiv museum.
We've been to Hamburg many times and MiWuLa a couple of times- it is amazing beyond description. Not sure how Northlandz ranks... MiWuLa has been acknowledged as the largest for years, but now Guiness has confirmed it. And MiWuLa is about to get even larger. The Italian section should be completed by the end of the year, and the brothers just got approved to purchase the warehouse next door. They plan on building France in the old building, then the Chunnel on a walkway between the 2 buildings and then add England and North Africa in the new building. they also hope to do Japan and Australia WAY down the road.
Beautiful 🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪, Greetings from Scotland 🏴love the Mini Model cars ,Aeroplanes and Trains with Front and back lighting to different colour settings to give these Projects an atmospheric setting .,❤️
This is the most amazing layout that I have EVER seen. I would LOVE to have programmed the electronics, this would have been my dream job. LED technology has captured the world, in every industry.
this is totally amazing, I been a train freak for many many years, never have I seen anything that comes close to this. thanks youtube and pilentum for bringing this into s. philly.
This is simply amazing, this must have been a huge team to assemble such a large well organized set up, would love to see the planning/assembly/ operational set up of something like this, how cool.
Modell maker - "I have to buy paint to color the scenery on the layout." Paint seller - "What colors do you need?" Model maker - "Just the one. Lots of just the one."
Love it,SANTA caught in traffic. Great video. The airport need a couple of Gulfstream jets. THOMAS!! Viva Las Vegas Baby. Taco Bell,MMMM! I love all the semi trucks, busy highway. So much details, parties, the beach and even a funeral. Gotta love the rock climber.
I love how they integrated life into this layout in such a big way.. up keep must be a full time job..have to w atch this one in parts or i will miss sometbing..
A must watch for all those inspiring model railroaders, the technology available today is just mind blowing, well done to those involved in building this fantastic model exhibition it's a credit to all involved, a big thank you for sharing.
this may be a strange querstion, but for all of the vehicles I saw in which their lights worked, did all of those run on small batteries or something like that?
@@pilentum so after the fly through that wall, they actually land after that on the other side? Didn't know that those planes run on batteries, only because, before they takeoff on the runway, a lever comes up and places itself behind the front landing gear of the plane and that is what pushes the plane down the runway, and then when the plane takesoff, there is something attached to the bottoms of the planes to raise them up into the air...
Man I have had a bad back for yrs. As for your ? I dont sleep very well at all any way ' but who cares I just love this type of let's just say ART !! Jimmie R
Man I tryed to watch this Vid . last night or early this morning ' but it was gettihg late in the morning here . Dude the att. to detail ' especialy the air port . Is just AMAZING !! I can only imagine the man hrs. It that went in to this work of ART !! Jimmie R
I’m definitely going to beat the world record on this. I’m on schedule, I already have a 101 DMU. So I’ve already achieved one of the three essentials needed. I’m just waiting to win the lottery, then buy the mansion in fifty acres.
Thanks for posting this, I really need to go. Its fun watching for the "easter eggs" and also the drop offs, and there are a few bad mistakes that when noticed instantly kill the realism of a view, like the boat towed water skier with taught line, who is putting up a fantastic wake, while the boat towing him has none!
40:22 when the airport Taxi parking lot was shown,, really wonder how many people actually noticed Santa with his sleigh and Reindeer parked in among All those taxis???????
One of the great joys of MiWuLa is finding all the jokes... silly and naughty. From penguin families waiting for a train in Sweden to a porno being filmed in a park as a monk comes walking up the path to an alien inasion in Las Vegas... there are insanely funny bits everywhere.
was just watching this, and I dont know how many people actually noticed this, but right around the 3:56:44 mark, look at the guy riding the horse, where in the heck is the other half of the horse.....LOL, I mean he is riding a horse that only has two front legs, and a tail.....LOL
I know what your trying to get at here, well the horse did have its head, its two front legs, but now I am going to take a shot and actually say that the horse's MIDDLE section was missing, allong with it hind legs, but it did have it's tail.....so the MIDDLE part of the horse was missing '
I think he is not riding a horse rather he is wearing a dress which resembles with a horse. The person is standing at his own legs. We often see such dresses in India in cultural dances.
fantastic realism - with one small quibble - Washington Jefferson Roosevelt and Lincoln at Mount Rushmore are cartoonish - hardly realistic at all. got to love the movable "sky window" at the end of the airport runway.
It is a fabulously animated layout. Best in the world. But I find for a train enthusiast, it lacks in realism as far as the actural train detailing and modell operations go. The trains mainly are operating at unprototypical speeds flying through stations , there appears to be no local trains switching on line industries etc. I don't mean to be mean but it is a shame.
The Russian Rocket scientist is supposed to be building the largest HO Marklin display on earth and employs over 800 people of every technical skill. I do not know what became of all that.
This is so much better than the model railways in Australia, USA and England...............they look so out of proportion to this one and lack feeling.............again the Germans now how to do something better than everyone else
i love those digital billboards...... but don't know which brand it is. ik vind die digitale advertentieborden tegek weet iemand het merk of artikelnummer ?
They scale the locos, cars, homes and people. But they don't scale the curves and the power/weight ratio. Trains never turn curves that sharp and they never accelrate that fast!
Did anybody notice that whatever is not at dead center is blurries? I am not going to watch 4.5 hrs of a video that gives me a headache. I have DVD's from this place and it's the same thing. What is wrong with these guys?
It's just a slight shame that the vehicles speeds are not relative to the size of their environment ; also the aircraft taxi speeds are not realistic.... Just an observation.
This hasn't been true for a while now. In 2005, with the addition of Scandinavia, Miniature Wonderland had the largest layout, and they've grown considerably since then. Northlandz has about 8 miles of tracks, while Miniature Wonderland has almost 9 and a half miles of tracks. And they're still adding more areas to their layout. If you ever have the chance. Almost every American I know has been there.
Absolutely fantastic and a credit to all those involved in the production of this mind boggling layout, thank you one and all .
Thank you for an excellent video. It is nice that you put it into sections. Compliments to the builders of this layout in Hamburg. Greetings, Peter.

Best video on Mini Wunderland. Congratulations! And thank you for NOT adding music! :-)
Ahh yes. One of my favorite videos from 2015. Nostalgic memories. ❤️🚃🚄🚂
thanks for sharing PILENTUM
Just amazing! I see something new I missed every time I watch videos of this place. So many little things going on.
I was wondering if I should go to Europe for a holiday...you've just made up my mind!!!
Astounding coverages. Thank you.
Amazing layout - you don't appreciate it until you have been there. Great vid for bring back memories!

Thanks for watching, Stephen!
This is the most amazing layout that I have EVER seen. I would LOVE to have programmed the electronics, this would have been my dream job. LED technology has captured the world, in every industry.
I was stationed in Germany in 1981-1983 and then 1985-1988 Zweibrucken and Wurzburg
You can ask Gerrit Braun who has done much of the programming if you could help. Most programs are written in Delphi.
this is totally amazing, I been a train freak for many many years, never have I seen anything that comes close to this. thanks youtube and pilentum for bringing this into s. philly.

Don't know how many model makers and technicians they have, but there are more than 350 employees working there.
Thats correct amazing!
This is just amazing. I have to visit!
Yes, visit this great exhibition.
Modell maker - "I have to buy paint to color the scenery on the layout." Paint seller - "What colors do you need?" Model maker - "Just the one. Lots of just the one."
Dentro de unos días viajaré a Múnich Alemania ¿ Hay alguna maqueta para visitar ? Gracias.
You a best person with have train models i love it!

Not really, they have the Millennium Falcon

The airport at night is so real..
Majestic 😘☺😊
A must watch for all those inspiring model railroaders, the technology available today is just mind blowing, well done to those involved in building this fantastic model exhibition it's a credit to all involved, a big thank you for sharing.
The trains are really cool, but I like airport part the most because how the planes, trucks, vans and buses move around about :)
I can understand that quite well. There are planespotters visiting this airport and it can be found in the Guiness World Records as well.
Been there 1x... Going to try to go again as it's just so much to take in at one time.
Bellissimo!
this may be a strange querstion, but for all of the vehicles I saw in which their lights worked, did all of those run on small batteries or something like that?
Great!
still would like to know where do all the planes go after they fly into that wall at the end of the runway????
Behind the scenes, there is a large parking lot for the planes for charging the batteries.
@@pilentum so after the fly through that wall, they actually land after that on the other side? Didn't know that those planes run on batteries, only because, before they takeoff on the runway, a lever comes up and places itself behind the front landing gear of the plane and that is what pushes the plane down the runway, and then when the plane takesoff, there is something attached to the bottoms of the planes to raise them up into the air...
eres súper crack PILENTUM 🤩
Pregunta los personajes los compran o los fabrican??
Brilliant
Прикольно!!!

263000 figurines, 9250 cars, 389000 LEDs. More than 200 cars and trucks move.

Wow thats some working hours!
The largest tourist attraction in Germany

Please, take a look at "Faller Car System".

When you move the cursor over the advertisement ,you can click it away in the upper right corner
DARRENBURY CENTRAL V good layout.
How come only the little model trucks are moving but not the little model cars?
There are also cars which are moving.
Try being out of gas.
fantastic realism - with one small quibble -

You recognised that correctly. Unfortunately, the model railway is not optimally maintained.
The Russian Rocket scientist is supposed to be building the largest HO Marklin display on earth and employs over 800 people of every technical skill. I do not know what became of all that.

Its Miniatur Wunderland?
Yes it is 💥
😀🌹😁👍👍👍👍👍
What scale is it ?
HO
Ahh.....whats going on at 3:43:20?!? lol
They scale the locos, cars, homes and people. But they don't scale the curves and the power/weight ratio. Trains never turn curves that sharp and they never accelrate that fast!
Even more amazing that electric locos run without touching the overhead power lines
Maybe you missed it. - these aren't trains. They are MODEL trains on a MODEL layout and it is Amazing!!
👍😁😊🌹👍👍👍👍👍
What the hell is going on at 1:24:16 ??
You don't want to know...............................
los trenes es muy bueno 😉😉😉😎😎
