There is such excellent competition at keener prices, you would have to want to be different, and have derp pockets. Way too much bike gor me, but that doesn't mean I can't appreciate it for what it is. And goodcto see MV making new bikes. Ride safe 👍
Great bike and idea but nowadays, with so many competitors it is a difficult choice. I have a 640 LC4 single for the off-road and other bikes for other types of rides or needs. But if you need one bike, this comes in line with the greats. And you have to love the triple bass. Price seems typically Italic
09:58 If you wont take the bike offroad because of weight/cost/performance then what's the point of owning an adventure bike with 21" wheels? I never understood GS owners who considered parking up the curb @ Starbucks as "offroad". Might as well get a sports tourer .....
That’s because none of the large so called adventure bikes are any good off-road on anything more than gravel. They are simply too heavy. For serious off road riding you need a smaller engine and weight under 180kg
Som3how it doesnt have the exotic appeal of an MV. It looks like a mix of the Africa Twin, Desert X and the tail secrion looks like its from a Tiger. Rims look like tubed tyres. Someone on IG said it has a Tubliss system but i coukd t find any info on their website. The xhaust note is intoxicating. Im sure the performance, features etc all will be top notch. Who is this for?
The exhaust does sound amazing, but if you are buying it to do adventure touring, revving it up would probably get boring after a while. So it would be the GS for me, KTM has a poor reputation for breaking down
So PIERER Mobility AG is the holding company of KTM, GASGAS, Husqvarna and MV Agusta Motorcycles, and also WP and Zhejiang Chunfeng Power Co, aka CF Moto. My understand is CF Moto has also reached an agreement to have a joint venture with Yamaha (ZHUZHOU CF YAMAHA MOTOR CO.,LTD.(ZCYM)). So, is this engine similar to Yamaha engines?
It’s a cool enough bike but the design….I mean, it’s too similar to the Stelvio which is too similar to the Tuareg. Same face in three flavours. The Aprilia and Stelvio I can forgive (same designer and both Piaggio products) but the MV? For shame.
Simple answer is NO. Far too expensive and fragile for what it is supposed to be. It's a pretty enough bike for showboaters. I can't get over the amount of nasty black plastic that will make it ridiculously difficult to clean properly.
Exhaust looks just like the pedal bin in our kitchen😟

Under £18K brand new on Autotrader, still a lot but not much more than the competition, plus 4 year warranty...I'm tempted to try one.
looks awesome. Sounds awesome, the price is also awesome. When you add in luggage etc its probably 23-24K.

GS has a 19” wheels.
Is it normal for the same journalist to review the same bike twice for different magazines at the same launch?
Yeah
@Chad76Media The man himself. Been watching your reviews for over a decade now. Love your work!
@@Jimmyjonesjunior I’m old! Thanks
@@Chad76Media The day you get old is the day you can't ride anymore. You've aged well!
Looking similar like tenera 1200, sound is really good.
It's better on road than Triumph tiger 1200 rally explorer?
Like joe normal is going to risk offroading it. Bang a 19 on front with decent width to challenge Ducati.

Looks beautiful, pity it's Ducati V4S price (and that also has the adaptive cruise).

Would you buy one Chad?
Turismo veloce is more appealing in every aspect... maybe not the maintenance
Worth it
Closest competition: tiger 900 rally, probably what they copied to come up with the MV
Yamaha could do this with their MT09 motor, (probably the best motorcycle engine ever) and it would give ADV bike fans the perfect bike!
I agree; for a little over half the price?
and we need new tiger sport with 1200 engine from speed triple rs :D

Don't touch an MV till they build a few years of credibility again they treat existing customers like crap.
Don't even think it looks nice and sounds like a bag of spanners ticking over.
Sounds better in the real world
