@shanecassidy4139 I will try and make some videos throughout the year from day olds all the way through to shoot days. It's difficult with time, but I will do my best this season

@@thefemalegamekeeper5509 Forgot to ask. Are wolves protected in the UK. We see a lot of wildlife shows from the UK in Oz and no one ever mentioned wolves.
@waylandforge8704 I am currently living in Tuscany, Italy. You're correct. There are no wolves in the uk. Here in italy we are almost overrun with them.
@@thefemalegamekeeper5509 Your lifestyle looks awesome, but I'm still finding it hard to reconcile wolves with this day and age. Do you control their numbers. I can see them doing a lot of damage to your operation. I'll have to binge watch your back issues to get up to date. Happy new year and I hope you have a good one.
Greetings from N Yorkshire and a HNY to you and yours. I was trying to work out where you were in the uk, then you mentioned wolves 🙈😂. Quick question, do you use different call whistles for different drives? Have a great few days to the end of the season👍. Liked and subscribed.
Yes, so one side of the estate is whistled by mouth and the other side with the aid of a whistle. Some of the drives are quite close together, it helps to keep them separated, and not all ending up in one drive.
Great footage, and thank you for the great effort I know it must be bringing this content to our armchairs. Hi lad to see you know where the record function on your thermal is because I dont. My gosh wolves! Have come across them in Canada but never in Europe, although Italy has a population of over 3,300 Where do you originate? Your accent sounds Pembrokeshire with a touch of northern England?
I'm from Wales, I also stopped recording during filming and couldn't remember where it was, it's a shame because I had a really clear image of the first 2 before they started walking away🙈.
Yes, we have a lot of raptors, buzzard, peregrine, goshawk, sparrowhawk, etc. We also get alot stop of on their migration to refill their bellies. We rear and release extra birds to cover the losses. We believe this is a win win situation for us and the raptors.
Do you catch up for breeding at the end of the season ?. What's it like for natural breeding over there ?. I do enjoy watching your videos, happy new year to you all.
Wolf’s so your not in Uk , they have more rights to be there than you if it’s a foreign land . The European concept of the big bad wolf has cost wolf populations across the world dearly and yet it continues to this day.

Seems like a lot of birds around for 2 small days? Depends I suppose on what is a small day. Beaters should be in for a good one ?
Yes, the beaters get a day at the end of the season
Lovely country

No, the wolves are highly protected.
Where are you with all the wolves?

Doesn’t look thin on the ground to me!? Where is it?? Looks like the USA to me??
TUSCANY ITALY
Much corvid trouble?
Not much, few hoodies and magpies
Only 2 small day's left what you going to do with all those birds 😊
Whats left will be caught up and relocated to repopulate other areas

Cymry am byth! I suppose you have different laws pertaining to the control of protecting you birds, so I guess the wolf’s win. Happy new year.
Did you say you have boars and wolves? Where are you ?
Tuscany italy
Have you any plan's to film a shoot day ?
I will try and get some footage on the next day. It's difficult from the other end
Wow wolves on your beat what country are you from? Fantastic scenery.
Tuscany, Italy
'Thin on the ground'. I don't think so.
❤
Really interesting video to watch do the raptors not bother them they seem to be killing all the birds hate them

Cracking video 👍
Are you aloud to shoot the wolves or are they protected over there
Highly protected
Plenty of birds for wolves if not foxes. Lambs later on!
The wolves don't really bother the pheasants to much. They are more after the deer and boar.
Do you catch up for breeding at the end of the season ?. What's it like for natural breeding over there ?. I do enjoy watching your videos, happy new year to you all.
We catch up, but not for breeding here. They are used to repopulate public hunting ground
Birds look great
Thank you
You are one lucky lady keep up the good work lovely looking countryside
@@lesterpaxford8721thank you
Looks like you will have plenty of cock pheasants to trim out before the end of the season.
It's been a strange here, we seemed to have alot of cocks from the start.
