If a teacher is not correcting any student, he/ she is not called to be a teacher anymore. Gurus and parents are meant to show the right path to the students if a student is bullying someone to just promote our own language.

I am fine with people speaking Hindi coz its the most spoken and most Indians even many Bengali speak and understand it. And I have no issues with that. Had it been some other language, I would have no issues with that either. Language is just medium. Infact Hindus should spend time to learn multiple languages because many of our religious texts are in various languages like Tamil, Malyalam, Awadhi, Bengali. Indians should learn to read and speak atleast 3-4 languages. i can speak English, Hindi, Bengali, and am currently learning Tamil.

Times have changed. Being a teacher I'll tell you; rich students do behave this way and they are pampered by the school because they provide good business by paying for unnecessary school stuffs over the tuition fees which they always pay on time. Moreover, parents of such students hold power by either being in an influential profession or by having contacts in school internally. They can very easily use these contacts and get a teacher kicked out of the school for trying to set them up straight. Schools are a direct mirror of society. Teachers themselves are at the mercy of others. They don't have as much authority as students believe. Not anymore atleast.
Yes definitely, I was a teacher for a year in an international school and my God the amount of bootlicking we had to do just to please the so called rich parents of the students. We couldn't even talk about any flaws of the students. It was a living hell 😔

A teacher in my arts class slapped a mean bully girl so the girl pushed the teacher then threatened the teacher in front of whole class that she’ll make it her mission to get her fired. She went to the principal & complained about the teacher threatening to sue as “child violence is prohibited”. Later principal announced “teachers are not allowed to hit students” on the whole school’s intercom & the teacher apologised, later she resigned. Bullies are sometimes overpowered by the school just because they can play the minor card & get away with their wrongdoings
The principal wouldn't have done so if the kid wasn't powerful the power is not originally from kid it comes from the parents who are internally involved in school funding
