Mike, I lost it with the little girl with cancer. I feel your anger and it is definitely righteous anger. As the mom of two terminally ill children, this breaks my heart and I found myself bawling. Then you opened the bible and read about biblical suffering and our ultimate resting place! Now I am crying tears of joy and not of anger and sadness. Thank you for doing what you do. One of my terminal sons watches all of your videos and is truly blessed by your ministry

12 WAYS TO RECOGNISE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS
      1. MENTAL FILTER - PICKING OUT SINGLE NEGATIVE DETAIL AND FOCUSING ONLY ON THAT, WITHOUT TAKING INTO ACCOUNT ANY GOOD THINGS.fOR EXAMPLE, AFTER ACONVERSATION WITH SOMEONE YOU ONLY RECALL THE ONE MINOR CRITISM AND IGNORETHE 16 GOOD THINGS HE SAID.
2.All or Nothing Thinking- Seeing things in black & white, missing the grey, e.g. they either love me or they hate me
Over-generalisation- Seeing a negative event as a sign that everything is negative, i.e.’ I always fail’, ‘I fail at everything I do’, or ‘I am always and forever going to be skint’
3.Discounting the positive- Recognising something good in your life and then rejecting it as irrelevant. ‘That doesn’t count’, or ‘anyone can do that’
4.Jumping to Conclusions- Making negative interpretations without facts to back them up. ‘I have a swollen gland, it must be cancer’.
5.Mind Reading- Making negative interpretations of what others may be thinking.
6.Fortune Telling- Anticipating that things will turn out badly, and feeling like your prediction is already a fact.
7.Magnifying- Exaggerating the importance of things like mistakes, or someone else’s achievement
8.Minimisation- Underestimating the importance of positive events or your own good qualities.
9.Perfectionism (unrealistic goals)- You motivate yourself with, ‘should’, & ‘must’. If you don’t manage to do things exactly right you then feel guilty and demoralised. If you direct these statements towards other people you feel anger, resentment & frustration. ‘Other people should always be reliable, trustworthy, on time, etc’
10.Self-Blame- You see yourself as responsible for some negative external events for which you were not responsible. ‘I’m just bad luck for anyone who comes near me’, remember you are responsible for your own thoughts and feelings; others are responsible for their own
      11. Self-Putdowns- Attaching a negative label to yourself. ‘I’m a bad person’, ‘I don’t deserve any better’, ‘I am stupid, unreliable, weak’.

If you can identify with at least three of these negative thinking patterns you could be the victim of negative thoughts. Remember this is mostly an unconscious process, so it can be difficult to recognise this thinking.

FYI: Nobody at TH-cam watches the videos for copyright strikes -- they'd need an entire army of tens of thousands to do that -- it's an automated system driven by AI and algorithms. The only thing that happened (so far) is that the TH-cam scans haven't detected any audio or video fingerprints that match the copyrighted material in their database.

My mom died just a couple of weeks after attending a Benny Hinn crusade back in 2002. I wasn't sure how I felt about it back then, but I knew I had to step back and trust that God would reveal the truth.
Within a couple of years, I went through a time of grieving over not only the lies of Benny Hinn, but all of those charlatans that I used to listen to.
I believe my mom really did recognize her need for a a savior and truly repented for her sin, and I look forward to the day when I see my Savior face to face and am reconciled with the woman I was blessed to call Mom for 33 years.

I just have to share about 25 yrs ago I went to a Conference in Cincnnati Ohio it was a smaller group not arena - I paired up with a lady in a wheelchair she was brought by bus from a nursing home she had MS - her husband divorced her and put her in a nursing home she was unable to walk - we prayed - she got up - she walked - it was after midnight before the meeting ended - there was no way for her to get back to her nursing home - I loaded her wheel chair in the back of my car and took her to the nursing home - we walked in together - staff was shocked - no - Benny did not lay hands on her - we prayed - months later I would run in to her in Nashville at another Hinn gathering at an arena - she was still walking. God will heal us in his time, his way. He doesn't need Hinn. She was a jewel. I'll never forget her.

A ministry I worked for hosted a BH crusade. He asked our pastor to use the building and my pastor agreed to help out. 28 years in ministry and it is still by far the worst 3 days I have ever seen. The crowds that came were trying to break into the building after the fire marshal said we were at capacity. For the fire marshal to come out showed how out of hand it got. People were lying left and right saying they had a seat in the sanctuary so we had to implement a policy of people that would escort them to "their seat" and they had to prove they were sitting there. My one friend said "I have never seen so many liars in one place in my entire life." .. Now, having said that, Benny's team were the nicest and most caring people you could meet. They were great to work with and were all very kind and didn't expect anything from us at all. I did not have a direct encounter with BH, but everyone I know that did or saw him behind the scenes said that he could not have been any nastier or meaner to his staff. To top it all off, a guy died in the meeting. The family took him out of hospice and took a bus trip to the meeting with their church. The guy dies and I know this very well because I saw the body, saw the coroner show up and I had the honors of driving the widow, sister and daughter home since the bus had to leave them behind. The lines to get in started 10 hours before, people drove from 15-20 hours away to see him and they didn't even need a healing. Nothing is going to stop this. His core followers are sold and they give money for this left and right.

I grew up in a church whose pastor played the keyboard for Kenneth Copeland. Bennys daughter would come to our youth group some times. No surprise I became an atheist at 15, and almost 20 years later after causing more pain to the people I love than I can comprehend due to addiction and lust I finally surrendered and called out to God. Now I’m realizing how I was essentially raised in a cult. Every day I have to work on surrendering to Jesus and letting him guide my life, and to not hold resentments towards the adults who failed me as a child. I trust you Lord that you will sanctify me, that you will give me the strength to overcome my temptations and be a servant of your will.

I’m so glad this video is still up. I have very personal experience with Benny Hinn’s corporate office and definitely with his CEO/CFO. My dad was head security at his headquarters in Grapevine, Tx. I was his CEO’s nanny/housekeeper. I saw things you don’t even want to know. I was also abused. I worked for them for 5 months, it felt like 5 years. My dad was wrongfully fired because I fell down the CEO’s stairs at his home while I was working. It was an answer to prayer for me, but what they did to my dad because of it was so wrong. My dad and another employee got the FBI involved, but I’m sure BH paid them off. Nothing happened. They definitely came out, but nothing came from it. I would love to put a video out about everything that I saw, what they did to me and my dad.
Please, if anyone still believes and follows Benny Hinn, STOP! Please.
Someone I know who has since died had all the evidence against him. All of it. My dad had some, passed it to him and he got even more. Hopefully after this, the FBI will do something.

I was in the hospital getting prepped for surgery. The anesthesiologist was telling me what he was going to do. Then he said that if my lungs don't hold up under my weight (which I'm a bit over weight), that he would cancel the surgery because if he put too much pressure on my lungs, they would bust. The surgery required that I would be at an angle with my intestines and flab, pushing on my lungs. The machine would have to pump air in. This whole thing started to scare me so I said that I don't want the surgery. The anesthesiologist said that I needed the surgery. I was diagnosed with precancer. I figured it could wait. But what the doctor saud kind of surprised me. Then my oncologist who was also in the room, asked if I wanted to talk to the minister (who was walking down the hallway toward the area of my room). Sure, I said. The minister came in and the doctors left. He started talking about breath and the Holy Spirit. Which was odd since he was nowhere near the room when me and the doctors were talking about the breathing issues. The he prayed for me. It was at that time I felt a tingling in my lungs. I tried everything I could to make sure it was real and what could be causing it. The doctors haven't given me anything yet. Then this image was in my head of metal lungs. It was there the whole time the ministe was praying. Then the doctors came in and I said, let's do this. Surgery went fine. Lungs held up with no issue. Turned out I had stage 1 cancer. The precancer had surrounded the stage 1 cancer to where it couldn't be detected. The words of the anesthesiologist rang in my head. God surely was there. Letting me know how serious it was and that He took care of me. It was caught in time. It was contained in an area that was removed. I've been cancer free since 2022. I pray that people are blessed with real healings and answered prayers. Miracles do happen.

I raised this issue with my pastor and I asked him whether he would attend the crusade… my pastor’s answer was
« About Benhin I may not support going to grave coz I don't have such belief but even the bones of Elisha raised a dead person.
I also have misgivings about him because of some things he has confessed about manipulating people through giving but my sister who is perfect?
Sometimes it's good to concentrate on positivity but that doesn't mean one is to be careless.»
He also told me to continue testing the spirit of someone.
      Phillipians 15 - 18
15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. 16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. 17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.
Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,
To God be the glory… Amen 🙏🏽

I've been watching this video and I had to comment after seeing the section where you suggested possibly some demonic influence. Back in 1994 I was a leader in a Youth Group. We had a new pastor take over the Youth Group. At the time the Youth Group went from 12 to over 1300 teenagers within a year. We had a lady who joined our leadership team. She had a Bible study that aired on local cable access. After the Youth Services she would pray over teenagers and many were "slain in the spirit" and was very Benny Hinn style with the music and atmosphere. I was never into that because I could not find it in the Bible. I remember the first night she began doing this that I was unable to attend but I had called the Youth Pastor later that night and he was telling me how she began praying over the teenagers and they began falling under "the power". I remember remarking to him how terrible I thought that was and he was like what are you saying, it was great, but the Holy Spirit was warning me about her. Anyway, there is more to the story, but it turns out the church discovered that she was a full on witch and she had to be banned. The crazy thing is that she was praying in the name of Jesus, and speaking love, and slaying people in the spirit, and there was "power" but the whole time practicing witchcraft. Some people would later get deathly ill from her prayers, marriages would fall apart for married couples she prayed for, she had a spirit of lust. It just reminds me of Benny Hinn because many sick people he prays for don't get healed, or get worse, or die, or believe they had a miracle but haven't, yet people are slain in the spirit and there is "power" and atmosphere. I do think Benny Hinn is under the control of a demonic spirit because he relies heavily on manipulation and control, and the Holy Spirit would never manipulate. However, Benny Hinn uses the Holy Spirit and "the presence of God" to manipulate. He could very well be a sincere, well meaning man, ignorantly under demonic influence. A person doesn't have to be a bad person to be evil (a veil). They can simply be blind.

Oh my Lord, how on earth does a practicing witch also become anointed with the power of the Holy Spirit? I really don’t understand that.

    • @Kali08012
      @Kali08012 วันที่ผ่านมา

She's not anointed with the holy spirit but disembodied spirits. Remember in Exodus when Moses in the authority of Yahweh/God displays his authority with his signs and wonders, you will see the Pharoah's magicians were able to preform similar signs, like when Moses changes his staff into a snake the magicians were able to do the same but Moses' snake eats up Pharoahs magicians snakes. His magicians were not as powerful and Yahweh still showed his authority over them. In the New Testament Simon the Magician was able to do signs and wonders with the power of the enemy. Satan and his disembodied spirits still work through people today, that's why it's so very important that people study the scriptures and pray for discernment. But to have discernment we must first know the scriptures! The scriptures say "Be as wise as a serpent but as gentle as a dove!"
Exo 7:8 And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
Exo 7:9 When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Shew a miracle for you: then thou shalt say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.
Exo 7:10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.
Exo 7:11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.
Exo 7:12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.
Exo 7:13 And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.
Act 8:9 But there was a certain man, called Simon, which beforetime in the same city used sorcery, and bewitched the people of Samaria, giving out that himself was some great one:
Act 8:10 To whom they all gave heed, from the least to the greatest, saying, This man is the great power of God.
Act 8:11 And to him they had regard, because that of long time he had bewitched them with sorceries.
Act 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.
Act 8:13 Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done.
Simon bewitched the people, it's a type of hypnosis and play on emotional trickery, it puts people in a state of awe and amazement. Magik is real, hypnosis, deception, illusionist tricks, sorcery etc.

  • @stejjie

So I've watched this all the way through (in several goes) - wow! What an exhaustive compilation and spot-on commentary: thank you for doing it, Mike!
The question I'm left with at the end is: how can anyone defend Hinn after seeing even part of this? The "prophecies" that are undermined by events and the lack of acknowledgement of this. The fake healings. The way those who are brought up for healing are treated by Hinn and his staff. The cruel, evil appeals for money, manipulating people to give more than they can afford. The twisting of Scripture to fit his own purposes. The use and abuse of vulnerable people to glorify not Christ, but Benny Hinn. The repeated "repentances" that seem to be more for show than an expression of regret and remorse and a seeking of God's forgiveness and renewal (certainly the 2019 one is that all over). The lies. The trail of hurt and damaged and even dead people he's left in his wake - how can anyone in any position of Christian leadership get up and say anything when people who've acted on his teaching have died?
How can anyone look at that list and say that this is a man whose ministry is worth supporting, who is doing the Lord's work? How can anyone see the clips Mike presents - not even all of them - and say this is a good but flawed man who yes, makes mistakes, but is fundamentally devoted to God's work? Jesus never asked anyone for a penny for a healing; Paul on at least two occasions spoke of his refusal to claim money from the churches he served - money he had a right to - in case it got in the way of his ministry. The early church looked out for the poor and the needy among them, holding everything in common so that those who were struggle might be supported. Hinn is the complete opposite of that, taking vulnerable people's money so that he can enrich himself, then twisting Scripture to support what he's doing.
This is awful. This is dishonesty and hypocrisy of the highest order. Hinn was right in 2019 when he said it's an offence to God - but it's an offence he keeps committing, so what hope is there for him? He's condemned by his own words, by his own clips on TH-cam. And, I would say, what he does and what he says, especially when he invokes the name of Christ or God in doing so, is blasphemy and certainly, as Mike says, taking the name of the Lord in vain.
I'm a Baptist minister in the UK, privileged to pastor a small church of about 30-40 people. They are the most wonderful, kindest, warmest, funniest people you could hope to meet. I love them dearly and I try my best to serve them. I'm not perfect - you can ask them that! And there's stuff I struggle with with God. But I try to study Scripture faithfully so that I can preach and help them grow. I speak about the struggles as well as the triumphs; the times when prayer isn't answered and people aren't healed as well as the times when they are. I try to talk about God and life as honestly as I can. I tend to leave speaking about money to our church treasurer, as I don't think that's the minister's job. I know I cost our church a lot, I see it in the church budget every year. For the 15 years I've been here, people have been willing to pay that; but if I ever felt I was a burden on the church, I would find a way to lessen that burden, or maybe think about moving on completely. There's a load of stuff I haven't claimed expenses for, even though I would have been entitled to.
I don't say that to boast. I'm nothing special, I'm just falteringly doing my job. There's much I need to work on; I don't live up to my own standards. But that's something of the way I think ministers, pastors, whatever, are supposed to acts: ways that truly care for those we're called to serve, ways that put them at the centre of our ministries, ways that seek to protect and not harm them, whatever type and size of church you're pastoring. Hinn is the opposite: he seems to care only for himself and uses others to enrich himself, all in the name of God. He'll do anything, say anything to keep himself in the position he's come to hold. He needs exposing.

I had a son with MD he passed in 2014, but in the 90s, i drove my son desperate for healing 2300 miles to see this man of God who was healing people, we spent 3 days in Charlotte, NC and the last day he called out MD patients, and I carried my son down front and was met with huge security guards who threatened to escort me out if I didn't leave, so I went to the other side of the stage, and they were furious and almost got violent with me, so my son and I left ashamed that we fell for this Charlatan. Benny was going down through, touching and praying for each one. My friend was in the row. My friend said that he positioned himself so that he would not fall. His words, "I'm not going down". Every person was falling. When Benny (and the catchers) realized my friend wasn't going down, the 2 men (who were supposed to catch) pulled him with force to the ground. I'd be curious to find clips of this.

After watching this video, even though Im grateful to the Lord for my healing at the crusade, my heart aches and I feel like crying as I watch this. So much confusion from each of these elderly people with these “healings” while they’re on stage standing in front of the Lord wanting a touch from Him. In 1988 or 1989 I first saw TBN, I had been saved already. At some point, I got a book by Benny Hinn, as my heart has always been to see the sick healed. I was reading and he said in the book, which, I don't have any longer, nor do I remember the name of it, he wrote, that he got up, he was so excited, he ran out of the house, and he ran so fast the Holy Spirit had to chase him. I was like what??? We are to follow Jesus; The Holy Spirit leads us. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. May the people that don't see this video, may our Lord open eyes to see the slightest change in what the word actually says and keep reading the Bible first. thank you, Mike! I've been out of work because I'm waiting for a surgery, and spending time listening to some great teaching you have brought forth. Please pray for my healing and recovery.

My wife was in Ghana 1993 to 1995 as a short-term missionary. She said the missionaries told her Hinn was there not long before she got there. He had to escape for his life. People came to him having spent about a year's salary to bring their loved ones to him to heal. At that time travel still wasn't easy and was costly and a long journey north country to the south part of the country and vice versa. The missionaries said there was a mob after Hinn when they realized he wasn't healing people. We think this may be the trip where he claimed a man raised from the dead. Thank you for exposing the tricks of the trade and the fraud he commits.

At a ladies Bible Study, I used Benny Hinn as an example of who I considered a false teacher. Unbeknown to me, one of the newer women was one of his disciples. She accused me of not being fit to lead a study and insisted that I repent of what I said. I replied that I was sorry if I upset her but would not repent because I believe what I said. I suggested we drop it and get back to the study. She would not stop accusing me and telling me to repent, loudly, stabbing her fingers toward me. Eventually, we moved to prayer, which quieted her. Thereafter, every week, she repeated her demand that I repent. She was relentless and made continuing the study impossible. Eventually, after several weeks, the hostess asked her to leave. It shook me so much, I have not lead a study since. Other things happened that caused me to conclude there were demonic forces involved. This is a much needed video and I feel vindicated. The Benny Hinn disciple eventually left our church of her own accord.

Jehovah's Christian witnesses are the truth and the only organization that Jehovah is using.
The reason why they are different and believe different things is because Jehovah is the interpreter of prophecy, he decides what things mean and he has gradually and carefully overtime revealed his word the way that it should be... I mean here's a classic example of how Christendom understand the Bible John 8:58 is talking about jesus age, but christendom focus on the words "I am" knot actually there in this context as he is referring to the past) and try to link it with Exodus chapter 3 verse 15, the 2 have nothing to do with each other and 1700 years of christendom having the Bible has produced that nonsense... When a person is blinded by a particular doctrine they cannot see the truth no matter how hard they look, And that's why no one in christendom has the truth and only the Jehovah's Christian witnesses do, and when all religion is destroyed, That's when everyone will know who was right and who was wrong... The witnesses are the only religion on earth with this particular belief as far as I know... Jehovah has put everyone on notice.

I was in the choir at a Benny Hinns Night in Colorado in 2003 and when he slayed the choir with his white jacket, I felt nothing and did not fall down as other people around me did fall down. I don't think they really felt it either, but they were in a choir that was supposed to believe in Benny Hinn so they did go down. I felt stupid like there was something wrong with my belief so I sat down too wondering what was wrong with me that I didn't feel God. I thought maybe God was upset with me. Now I know I didn't feel God because God was not there. I haven't listened to him, bethel, or TBN since. God has answered my prayers and no atmosphere other than my sincere prayer asking for God's will to be done in Jesus Holy Name.

I had something similar at a Christian camp back when I was a teenager. I was beginning to get cynical about this kind of stuff, so I decided that the next time they did the slaying in the spirit thing I was going to try and stay standing up, on the logic that if it was really God I wouldn't be able to. Well, I did, and the guy made a legitimate effort to push me over, but it didn't work.
It became obvious that there is an un-verbalised script for this kind of thing. Everyone knows what is supposed to happen, and so it does. The Holy Spirit wasn't actually doing anything anything of the kind (and why would he? Pushing people over is stupid), yet people were desperate for a touch from God so they went along with it.

There was something so peaceful to know she wouldnt suffer anymore and was with Jesus. It actually eventually got me saved because i started seeking. After i got saved i lost both of my grandparents, on my dads side, 18 days apart. It was hard but i looked to God for my hope and peace. I have seen and been through so much spiritual manipulation. I almost died as a child because I became gravely ill. My mother would not take me to the doctor, and instead took me to a Benny Hinn conference to be healed. The doctor said if she waited one more day I would have died. I tell you, I have had a *really horrible experience* with a "Benny Hinn wannabe" in a *white jacket* , who behaved *exactly* as Hinn on stage. And it left me broken, hurting and humiliated. And I was absolutely *not healed* !
Just like in the *many* videos I've watched on Benny Hinn, this "healer" was also only interested in having me fall to the floor. He wasn't interested in me at all, and never even talked to me - he just screamed " *FIRE* " in my face, and got frustrated when I remained standing, and screamed " *FIRE* " some more. He *sounded like a dragon* .
And I just sat down on the floor and *cried* in disappointment - mostly at my gullible self - and *nobody cared* .
I had been praying the whole time "Lord, if this is *not from you* , then I don't want to receive it."
I tell you, it was *definitely not from God* . And this experience is what God used to *open my eyes* to this type of *religious stage manipulation* .
And that was the only positive thing that came out of this horrible experience.
Now, many years later, *my illness is still there* , even *more serious* than at the time. But I tell you, the Lord, in *not healing me* has been much more graceful, than that "Apostle" in the white jacket ever was.
And now I can spot a charlatan and false "healer" in an instant. And as soon as I see one, I want to *warn* my brothers and sisters to stay well away!!

I will say I was extremely skeptical, and still am, of Pentecostal churches. However, I've recently been going to a Spanish church with my wife, and they are more or less Pentecostal; i.e., they speak in tongues at times, people get slain in the spirit, etc. They do lay hands on those who come up for prayer. However, they have never forced it on anybody. I've never seen them trying to force people down either.
Truly, they feel like family to me and have always made me feel welcome.
I guess the point I'm making is not all Pentecostal churches are bad, but there is probably a higher likelihood of Pentecostal churches falling into this trap.

As I'm watching this video, it reminded me of Ev. Ankit Rambabu. I went to his Festival of Miracles in California last month and experienced something really strange: he started his sermon by sharing about his jet and the money his ministry is making. While preaching, he would walk around and put his hands on people’s heads, sometimes rotating them with his 'anointed' hand (I believe it was very abusive). Lots of stuff happened that night. My husband and I are French. Unfortunately Christians in France don't speak English and when you see a video of Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer or someone else, everyone thinks they are good Christians and no one does real research on the doctrines that they teach.
We are lucky to speak English (even if it's not perfect) and to be very curious about what is happening in the world among Christians.
In recent years we have become aware of all these false teachings and we have seen that due to lack of knowledge and wisdom, they have spread in the churches in France.
A few months ago we left our church because our pastor began twisting the scriptures 3 years ago. He only talks about healing and miracles. Jesus is no longer at the center. The only person of the Trinity he speaks of is the Holy Spirit, Jesus is only there when we sing (and not always) and God the Father no longer exists in these messages.
He no longer preaches the gospel and even less repentance.
Before being our pastor, he was a friend. We made an appointment with him to speak to him directly about our concerns. He denied everything and just said "that's your impression but it's not true".
We warned him about the people he was inspired by but he didn't want to listen to us.
Shortly afterward, one Sunday at church, he spoke about all the points we had discussed with him and said that people who thought as we did were unbelievers, tools of the enemy. It was at that moment that we understood that our place was no longer in this church.
He completely transformed the church, adding music and lights to create an “atmosphere” conducive to miracles. There are no elders in the church anymore, no one to watch over him. It became “his” church. Always the same songs that talk about miracles and healings. And lately people are falling "under the anointing of the Holy Spirit"
Several long-time Christians have moved away from the church also because they know the Bible, but there are a lot of new ones and i am scared for them...
I remember a "prophecy" there was, the man said he saw our pastor dressed in white like Benny Hinn. We thought it was a false prophecy (because he said a lot of things that weren't biblical) but when I see what's happening, maybe he's becoming a little French Benny Hinn...
Watching your video, we didn't expect to see so many points in common between our pastor and him...
Thank you for your work. You have been a blessing to us during the difficult times we have gone through. I thank God for the work He is doing through you.
I pray that God gives you the strength and wisdom to continue your ministry !
    God bless you Mike.

I pray the Christians who you speak of an do not speak English can soon have the computer automatically translate videos. Written text on internet can already be translated to yr language by the computer very easily. one just has to go into settings and turn it on and I then get buttons at bottom of the web browser to choose which language to display the page in. every once in looooong while the computer translation comes up with errors, mostly that is a problem when the translation ends up meaning the opposite of the original, this is usually only a problem with idioms and slang, things like that may not occur as much in writings about Christianity and theology.

@guytruth4907 I was not in sin. I did not know my standing with Christ. He said if we took communion unworthily, we could die. He did not emphasize forgiveness but the curse. Jesus makes us worthy. It was the devil trying to make me doubt my slavation. God took care of me. God will not let his children be led astray as long as they choose to walk in the truth.

      @matthewgardiner8731 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

@pblonrongracie while Mr. Hinn's wording was incorrect, it isn't entirely wrong. The Apostle Paul teaches in 1 Corinthians 11 that anyone that takes communion in an "unworthy manner" that they drink judgement upon themselves. This judgement, of course, is the wrath of God we are all destined to experience if it were not for the grace of Christ whose call we have responded to. We are not saved simply because he did the work, but because we believe in the work that he did and we repent of our sin against him.
If at the time of that teaching you, as you said, did not know your standing with Christ, then to take communion and proclaim his death would have been to take communion in an unworthy manner.
I remind everyone in my church before communion that it is reserved only for those who are repentant and have a saving faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. If they aren't sure, they shouldn't take it.
We don't get to take communion because Jesus loves us. We take communion to remember and proclaim the truth of what Jesus did to save us. Anyone that knows and trusts in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and is not harboring an unrepentant heart is welcome to come to the table.

One hour into this video I'm convinced that watching the full 4 hours is not necessary. (*Although, I will watch through to the end.) Mike Winger has a sound argument here. This video is spot on. My grandmother attended Benny Hinn crusades. My father gave his life to Christ at a Benny Hinn meeting. My mother attended them and I've been to one as well. So, I'm not speaking as someone unfamiliar with the ministry. There were things that were evident in person as well; things were just a bit off with this ministry. I pray a strong hedge of protection around Mike Winger as he delivers the unedited truth.

Agreed! I was raised a Jehovahs witness. When I was 14, I was kind of questioning my faith. A friend secretly took me to her church. Everyone was screaming in tongues, rolling around the floor, crying and laughing. It terrified me. Thankfully, Jesus pulled me out of the JW cult, but it took a very long time. Every time I'd start to question, I'd picture that church, and that stopped me. They are doing very real damage. The funniest thing is God called me back to that same church, and I told Him, "You are kidding, right??" Turned out the church split a few years after I was there specifically over the charasmatic abuse. They are really amazing now ❤ God is so good!

      It's in Deuteronomy 13:1-3
[1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
      2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.]
He (God) does "it" to prove you. vs. what you say in: "I felt it was so obvious that if God allowed such people to prosper on His behalf, He must be complicit with those actions or powerless to stop it."
It's sin. Has sin in it:
      ---- ---- ---- ----
It's God that determined, alone: by himself, what he chose "...to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness..." (Daniel 9:24) - is Jesus Christ.
Didn't choose me, or you, or Benny Hinn. Chose his own Word would be what he determined to God, and God do a work with sin only he can do...
...and already did it in Jesus Christ. It's in none else.
      THEN:
This, "who do you look unto?" When he says, "Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else." - God. Isaiah 45:22
Am I looking unto Benny Hinn? "Who" asked me to look unto Benny Hinn?
Where if I just regard the works of the Lord, and consider the operation of his hands vs. my own, or others, including anyone, even this Benny Hinn: It's a "work" like, a "distraction" to get you to "look unto" it, like a side show vs. God. Regard Benny Hinn's works more.
God. By his Word, "He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding." (Jeremiah 51:15)
He's the one you, me, everybody to the very ends of the earth publicly himself, not willing any perish but all come to repentance, asked EVERYBODY to look unto him.
God said, "Look unto me," then ..why am I looking unto Benny Hinn? God..., and he speaks. By his Word. These are his Words. Not mine, so in 50 days, or 500 even 5 years. or 50 billion....even into eternity, his Word is still his and will be the same. It will not pass away.
Jesus Christ is the Word of God. So, it's God that says what he wants to utter, by his Word in Matthew 24:24
" For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
I know him by his Word.
I know Benny Hinn by his Word. It's in this 4hr video, what Benny Hinn has, for decades, openly and publicly said, by his Word.
It's his own dreamer's dreams he's prophesied of himself. Then, Claims it's God said. The Word of Benny Hinn has lies in it.
When God speaks, doesn't have any lies in it. Not the same.

I have a rule: if the alleged preacher has private jets and designer clothes, he's spending too much on his own comfort for me to donate in good conscious. Obviously money is fungible, but while $1000 would cover my family's groceries for a month, it wouldn't even cover one of his suits. Even if his theology was sound, I'd never give him a cent; instead, I would give to missionaries reaching unreached people groups or my local church.
Even if he hadn't been exposed in the end, I never would have given money to Ravi Zacharias because apparently he could afford to pay massage therapists a Louis Viton wallet + $500. What _couldn't_ his actual ministry had done if he'd cut his salary by 50 or 75%?

It is righteous anger, you have NOT sinned. I could feel your pain. I am so sorry for your loss, but glad that your mother is no longer suffering. God bless you abundantly.
Benny Hinn and others like him, are the very reason that God said they will be judged more harshly. I feel heart broken , having watched this, for those poor people that are so deceived, and led astray by evil selfish people such as that person Benny Hinn. I believe this is a call to prayer for believers. God bless you abundantly Mike, and thank you for exposing this evil practise so clearly. I hope and pray many will heed the warning, that many eyes will be opened, and that many will be pulled out of the pit and be saved as a result of your work. Mike, I've just finished watching this. Thank you *sooo* much for the time, effort, and work you've put into this.
On one hand, I wonder if Benny is literally struggling in the same way as any believer who keeps falling back into any sin that has a hold of them - they keep repenting, and keep falling.. ?
On the other hand, he sounds like some people I have known that I now believe are narcissists: they are such exceptionally good, persuasive liars, that they can convince people of whatever they need to, to get what they want - and if they can't: the move on for "supply" elsewhere. Either way: he's not safe. But I hope he does really choose to change at some point.
One of the things I also really loved and appreciated about this video though: I feel you may have been listening to good friends about things you might do differently. I can hear a new humility in your approach and careful attention noting what is just your opinion, and what is demonstrable fact. It's great to see. Thank you for your honesty about your own (very understandable) anger, too.
This is excellent. Thank you! 🙏🏼

Just watched the section on 'healing' and the various cancer victims. In just under 2 weeks, we celebrate the 'graduation to glory' of my son. He had a rare, terminal cancer where, in the end, the tumors attached to his pancreas. In his last hours he confidently confirmed his faith in God (he was a believer throughout his life). The last moments of his life were the WORST moments in mine. Twenty five years later - the memory of his passing still brings tears to my eyes... he is in glory and I am happy for his rest. For this con man to give false hope to people with these conditions and situations - I join you in your 'righteous indignation' Mike.

Thank you Mike for all the hard work you put into this. I came across Costi Hinn’s material on Benny Hinn and thought the man was done for good, but I was shocked to find that he’s rising in popularity again. I thought he’d retreated to some fringe extreme circles and would stay there for the rest of his "ministry", only to find that "Jesus Image" (their logo should be worrisome enough) is directly tied to him and lets him on stage. So your video is very timely for me.
It’s so painful how much deceit this man has committed. And hearing all those ugly, disgusting things spoken in the name of Jesus just makes me sad and angry. Then I remember that I can always go to the word of God myself and get undiluted, untainted teaching right there. But I don’t want to grow too weary of ministers and become overly sceptical, assuming someone’s a fraud by default.

My sister and I were supposedly healed of a lifelong disease at a Benny Hinn crusade in Flint Michigan back in 91 or 92. We were 20 and 21, I’m 53 now, still not healed whatsoever. It hurt our faith because we thought we must not believe enough. We believed so hard. It hurt my Dads faith for the same reason. It happened again at a Morris Cerillo crusade; not healed after being told we were. It’s so cruel to do this to people.
Edit: I’m a a Christian even now and my faith in Jesus’ healing power still strong. It has not changed my belief in His power, I just stopped putting so thought into being healed. I believe He can, and if He does it, great. I’m just more concerned about a relationship with Jesus.
Edit: I wanna clarify, when I say it hurt my faith, I don’t mean my faith in God. I mean it affected me because I felt my faith must not have been good enough or strong enough.

My oldest son passed away in 2016 from brain cancer. I begged and pleaded to God to heal him. God laid on my heart that he would heal my son, but not here on Earth, his healing would come by being taken to heaven. I don't feel God took my son, I think He rescued my son from further suffering. I was angry and hurt deeply, at first, I felt God betrayed me by not healing my son. Now I know he had to rescue my son for my son's own good. My son was fragile, emotionally, and physically. While he was so strong to handle the suffering he went through, it took a toll on him. He was rescued and is safe and free and never has to deal with any more pain or the grief of losing his mom and dad. It makes me angry to see Benny Hinn fake the healing of these people suffering with cancer. Those poor, poor people who have their hope shattered. I learned when my son was dying that hope means the most to those who've lost it. We must be gentle with people going through these types of things and so careful with what we guarantee and promise God will do for them.

Pastor Mike, you deserve all the flack you're getting for this because you have done a marvelous job exposing Benny Hinn. I am so glad that I watched this....but I had to do it in many pieces because I was getting angry watching deceptions. I was particularly moved, almost to tears, when he pushed the woman with cancer.
You get this kind of push back because you have exposed the wickedness.
    God bless you Bro. Mike.

My husband and I went to a special event one night at a church. They said there was this amazing faith healer in town, and a bunch of my friends were going. I wasn't sure how I felt, but I thought I'd give it a try. This man starts running back and forth, swinging his coat, etc. People are falling all around me, and I just stood there in shock. He noticed. So he ran up to me and literally Smacked Me In The Forhead! 😂 I looked at my husband and said, "He just hit me. Why did he hit me?" I started laughing, and then everyone was staring. The guy was getting irritated. He tried it AGAIN! Then i was laughing so hard I was nearly in tears. He didn't smack me hard. It was just so strange. Now, my husband and I were both laughing because he had smacked me twice. This man looked so very upset. So we respectfully left. We laughed all night about it. It felt so ridiculous. He never even spoke a single Bible verse. Just talked about how God gave him so much money yada yada. Now it's an inside joke between my husband and I

I so appreciate your channel and all the time, effort, and also the risks that you took to upload this. I’m sure it’s been a stressful period in your life, but I agree with you that it’s well worth it.
I’ve been affected by the word of faith movement even though I have a strong baptist background, and watching this video has been revealing to me some of the lies that I’ve started believing. There’s a lot that has snuck in.
I am encouraged to double down to see what the Bible actually says, and to reject made up and fabricated concepts.
I’m definitely going to need a refresher on what the gifts look like today, because I need to relearn it without the made up stuff. Hopefully you have some videos on that!

When i was a kid we went to a healing ministry for my Dad to be healed from severe upper and lower spine injuries that he had multiple surgeries on. And they laid hands on him and declared he was healed and made him jump up and down to prove it. That night he was unable to feel his legs for 3 weeks and was in severe pain. But at the moment my Dad said he so badly wanted to believe it and didnt want to be a denier of God's healing and didnt want to be responsible for making the people watching deny God can heal. As the man spoke he pumped him up so much he felt his adrenaline going up and for that moment he felt he might be healed. So sad but also goes to show how great our minds are and works with our body. Mind over matter took over long enough for that man to show hundreds of people false healing and helped him continue the false healing and increase his financial scam. Smh My Dad said he was overcome with so many that if he didnt show everyone he was healed he may turn people from God or that we may feel he just didnt believe in Gods healing enough. Just terribly sad.

Thank you for your excellent exposure on Hinn. I've been a cult researcher for many years. In the early 90's I was researching the 'Vineyard' so called 'revivals' and had a detour to visit one of Hinn's events.
I can't say I trusted Hinn. But I knew he was aligned with the others I was researching.
You mentioned being 'slain in the spirit.' I certainly didn't go there for this purpose.
But at the end of the stage play, Benny blew his anointing around the stadium of thousands.
We watched in some apprehension as people fell like dominos around the whole stadium.
It started where we were from the front and everyone fell back in their chairs - hard. Including us.
I was totally baffled. I'd known the Lord a long time. This was completely foreign to me.
It lead to demonic attacks after I returned home. Every time it happened I would pray and the Lord stopped it.
I'm not saying this is true about everyone who is 'slain in the spirit.' There could be some where it's humanly manipulated. But this was demonic. I learned more about the final days apostasy when I walked through that door that I ever understood before. I truly had seen, and experienced the beautiful side of evil - with music to control the mind.
I still research these cults, but from a distance. I'll never go near this strange fire again.

I was present for the Brownsville FL revival event. Extraordinarily different from Hinn and the rest of the crew. Lasting, personal, positive changes in multiple friends' lives. Zero money was promised. In fact, we were all warned that we would be suffering for Christ and be persecuted. I don't recall a single offering accepted across the 4 days I was there. I didn't personally witness a single thing that wasn't congruent with The Word.

I remember hearing Joni Tada saying she went to a Benny Hinn event. She told of how she saw people in wheelchairs getting "healed" on stage. She also said that none of those people came from the wheelchair section and everyone in the wheelchair section went home in a wheelchair.

    • @JillCee
      @JillCee 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +13

One thing people forget is that not all people in wheelchairs are paralyzed. Often times, zero context of the healing for videos that do go out there. I have received miraculously healing in my life. It is not meant to be a viral thing. It is really meant to impact the lives of those who know the person who is healed since they know the history and context.

    • @bufficliff8978
      @bufficliff8978 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +17

@@JillCeeTo be in the wheelchair section all you need is a wheelchair; you don't have to be paralyzed. So there were people in the wheelchair section who weren't paralyzed. So people who were NOT in the wheelchair section materialized from the back.
OP is showing how Hinn was an intentional liar and manipulator. People in wheelchairs generally sit in the accessible areas. People in wheelchairs don't often stay away from the service or sit in inaccessible areas because they're in wheelchairs.
God can and does heal miraculously--Hinn did not. Those people were plants like snake oil salesmen's slaves.

Benny lost his way. I used to go for his Wednesday Bible studies when he was in Florida and became very disillusioned. After I came to Christ in the very early 1990s, I went for a little while to the Wednesday Bible studies at Benny Hinn's church in Longwood Florida. At the time I got a lot from his Bible teaching. All it was at that time was plain, straight up Bible teaching. And he taught me to get a box of colored pencils and as I study scripture shade a passage and read if it was a promise of God, Orange for a command of God, Green for a passage that could be used as prayer, purple for any passage that highlighted the kingship of Christ and the sovereignty of God, Brown if it was useful historic information to give context. At that time he taught me to let the Bible interpret the Bible and to look for confirmation of a particular thing elsewhere in the Bible.
However as time went on and he became famous for his healings and miracles, it became more and more about him. I was attending a Wednesday Bible teaching sermon and I noticed that he drove up in a chauffeur driven car and there was something about the way he exited the vehicle and the way a uniformed employee ran out to the car to open the door for him as if he was some kind of foreign dignitary. During the service he had us all on our feet for prayer and began talking about how persecuted he was and going on and on about how he was the anointed of God and not to mess with the anointed of God… And I looked at the people around me and they were gazing up at him with their hands clasped with these expressions on their face and it was clear that they were worshiping him and not God. And he was basking in that. Was very concerned about that. I was already scheduled for baptism because I had never been immersed. But when I went into the water baptism he was more concerned about how it would look on video and it wasn't about my baptism at all for him. I never went back.

I saw these televangelist's on TV as a kid in the 80's. Couple that with marginal Roman Catholic upbringing and it's not surprising that I wrote off religion.
