Mike, I lost it with the little girl with cancer. I feel your anger and it is definitely righteous anger. As the mom of two terminally ill children, this breaks my heart and I found myself bawling. Then you opened the bible and read about biblical suffering and our ultimate resting place! Now I am crying tears of joy and not of anger and sadness. Thank you for doing what you do. One of my terminal sons watches all of your videos and is truly blessed by your ministry

My mom had cancer she would watch Benny Hinn believing God would heal her. Her hospice nurse told her sometimes God heals us in his presence. That gave my mom so much peace she was no longer afraid of dying. And in her passing the Presence of God was so strong in her hospital room that the nurses felt it and told us we felt something beautiful and warm in her your mom’s room. We stayed with my mom in her room and we played Christian music and in her coma she would lift her hands praising God. I know that many of you would say she wasn’t in a coma if she lifting he hands. My Bible says even the rocks cry out.

As a christian myself, please know that a lot of what you see and hear being done in the name of religion, in the name of Christ, doesn't line up with what the Bible actually teaches, especially in mainstream mega churches. So much twisting of scripture and deception going on and getting worse all the time.

I’m Jewish and I totally agree with you. I get very turned off by predatory religious leaders who do evil in the name of G-d. In the third saying of Sinai G-d said that we may not carry his name in vain which means to do evil in his name. G-d even said that he will not acquit the ones who do such things

I grew up in a church whose pastor played the keyboard for Kenneth Copeland. Bennys daughter would come to our youth group some times. No surprise I became an atheist at 15, and almost 20 years later after causing more pain to the people I love than I can comprehend due to addiction and lust I finally surrendered and called out to God. Now I’m realizing how I was essentially raised in a cult. Every day I have to work on surrendering to Jesus and letting him guide my life, and to not hold resentments towards the adults who failed me as a child. I trust you Lord that you will sanctify me, that you will give me the strength to overcome my temptations and be a servant of your will.

Pastor Mike, you deserve all the flack you're getting for this because you have done a marvelous job exposing Benny Hinn. I am so glad that I watched this....but I had to do it in many pieces because I was getting angry watching deceptions. I was particularly moved, almost to tears, when he pushed the woman with cancer.
You get this kind of push back because you have exposed the wickedness.
    God bless you Bro. Mike.

My husband and I are missionaries in Kenya and one of our biggest challenges and concerns is warning these (mostly uneducated) people about Benny Hinn (who is now targeting the vulnerable in Africa) Using God’s Word to refute his lies and Bible twisting and protecting the small flock in our charge is made more of a challenge because of people like Benny Hinn. Thank you Mike again for a calm, straightforward and biblical refute against this wolf in sheep’s clothing.

My grandmother died 22 years ago after a prolonged battle with colon cancer. After her death I found a piece of notepaper with Benny Hinn’s name and mailing address and the word “prayer” and “$25” scrawled next to it. My grandmother had almost no money. This made me so sad. I’m the guy Mike talked about in the video with the knee problems as a kid. I WAS 💯 healed by God that night. I did pray to Jesus to heal me and He did, by His grace and mercy in that moment. After watching this video, even though Im grateful to the Lord for my healing at the crusade, my heart aches and I feel like crying as I watch this. So much confusion from each of these elderly people with these “healings” while they’re on stage standing in front of the Lord wanting a touch from Him. I pray Hynn renounces his ways and repents… turning to the only true healer, Jehovah Rapha. Jesus Christ. Yeshua the one and only true king.

Pray for Hinn to repent and step down and tell his followers that he was misleading them. Pray for his followers that their eyes are opened. It’s so sad.

12 WAYS TO RECOGNISE NEGATIVE THOUGHTS
      1. MENTAL FILTER - PICKING OUT SINGLE NEGATIVE DETAIL AND FOCUSING ONLY ON THAT, WITHOUT TAKING INTO ACCOUNT ANY GOOD THINGS.fOR EXAMPLE, AFTER ACONVERSATION WITH SOMEONE YOU ONLY RECALL THE ONE MINOR CRITISM AND IGNORETHE 16 GOOD THINGS HE SAID.
2.All or Nothing Thinking- Seeing things in black & white, missing the grey, e.g. they either love me or they hate me
Over-generalisation- Seeing a negative event as a sign that everything is negative, i.e.’ I always fail’, ‘I fail at everything I do’, or ‘I am always and forever going to be skint’
3.Discounting the positive- Recognising something good in your life and then rejecting it as irrelevant. ‘That doesn’t count’, or ‘anyone can do that’
4.Jumping to Conclusions- Making negative interpretations without facts to back them up. ‘I have a swollen gland, it must be cancer’.
5.Mind Reading- Making negative interpretations of what others may be thinking.
6.Fortune Telling- Anticipating that things will turn out badly, and feeling like your prediction is already a fact.
7.Magnifying- Exaggerating the importance of things like mistakes, or someone else’s achievement
8.Minimisation- Underestimating the importance of positive events or your own good qualities.
9.Perfectionism (unrealistic goals)- You motivate yourself with, ‘should’, & ‘must’. If you don’t manage to do things exactly right you then feel guilty and demoralised. If you direct these statements towards other people you feel anger, resentment & frustration. ‘Other people should always be reliable, trustworthy, on time, etc’
10.Self-Blame- You see yourself as responsible for some negative external events for which you were not responsible. ‘I’m just bad luck for anyone who comes near me’, remember you are responsible for your own thoughts and feelings; others are responsible for their own
      11. Self-Putdowns- Attaching a negative label to yourself. ‘I’m a bad person’, ‘I don’t deserve any better’, ‘I am stupid, unreliable, weak’.

If you can identify with at least three of these negative thinking patterns you could be the victim of negative thoughts. Remember this is mostly an unconscious process, so it can be difficult to recognise this thinking.

FYI: Nobody at TH-cam watches the videos for copyright strikes -- they'd need an entire army of tens of thousands to do that -- it's an automated system driven by AI and algorithms. The only thing that happened (so far) is that the TH-cam scans haven't detected any audio or video fingerprints that match the copyrighted material in their database.

I raised this issue with my pastor and I asked him whether he would attend the crusade… my pastor’s answer was
« About Benhin I may not support going to grave coz I don't have such belief but even the bones of Elisha raised a dead person.
I also have misgivings about him because of some things he has confessed about manipulating people through giving but my sister who is perfect?
Sometimes it's good to concentrate on positivity but that doesn't mean one is to be careless.»
He also told me to continue testing the spirit of someone.

15 It is true that some preach Christ out of envy and rivalry, but others out of goodwill. 16 The latter do so out of love, knowing that I am put here for the defense of the gospel. 17 The former preach Christ out of selfish ambition, not sincerely, supposing that they can stir up trouble for me while I am in chains. 18 But what does it matter? The important thing is that in every way, whether from false motives or true, Christ is preached. And because of this I rejoice.
Yes, and I will continue to rejoice,
To God be the glory… Amen 🙏🏽

I was in the hospital getting prepped for surgery. The anesthesiologist was telling me what he was going to do. Then he said that if my lungs don't hold up under my weight (which I'm a bit over weight), that he would cancel the surgery because if he put too much pressure on my lungs, they would bust. The surgery required that I would be at an angle with my intestines and flab, pushing on my lungs. The machine would have to pump air in. This whole thing started to scare me so I said that I don't want the surgery. The anesthesiologist said that I needed the surgery. I was diagnosed with precancer. I figured it could wait. But what the doctor saud kind of surprised me. Then my oncologist who was also in the room, asked if I wanted to talk to the minister (who was walking down the hallway toward the area of my room). Sure, I said. The minister came in and the doctors left. He started talking about breath and the Holy Spirit. Which was odd since he was nowhere near the room when me and the doctors were talking about the breathing issues. The he prayed for me. It was at that time I felt a tingling in my lungs. I tried everything I could to make sure it was real and what could be causing it. The doctors haven't given me anything yet. Then this image was in my head of metal lungs. It was there the whole time the ministe was praying. Then the doctors came in and I said, let's do this. Surgery went fine. Lungs held up with no issue. Turned out I had stage 1 cancer. The precancer had surrounded the stage 1 cancer to where it couldn't be detected. The words of the anesthesiologist rang in my head. God surely was there. Letting me know how serious it was and that He took care of me. It was caught in time. It was contained in an area that was removed. I've been cancer free since 2022. I pray that people are blessed with real healings and answered prayers. Miracles do happen.

16 By their fruit you will recognize them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles?

I do cancer research for my job, and I’ve spent a lot of time on pancreatic cancer specifically. There’s no way to describe it other than gruesome, even among other cancers. These are sick-and I mean SICK-patients, and the fact that people like Hinn would even dare to use people like this for their own ends and _in the name of Jesus_ , no less, is despicable. Anyone who would try to defend false teachers like this because critiquing “causes division” needs to _wake up_ . These are real people whose _eternal fates_ are on the line when the name of God is dragged through the mud by people like Hinn.

Mike you are absolutely correct on him being a bad man and a con man. I had a son with MD he passed in 2014, but in the 90s, i drove my son desperate for healing 2300 miles to see this man of God who was healing people, we spent 3 days in Charlotte, NC and the last day he called out MD patients, and I carried my son down front and was met with huge security guards who threatened to escort me out if I didn't leave, so I went to the other side of the stage, and they were furious and almost got violent with me, so my son and I left ashamed that we fell for this Charlatan. I had to repent for being so foolish, thank you for your work brother.

At a ladies Bible Study, I used Benny Hinn as an example of who I considered a false teacher. Unbeknown to me, one of the newer women was one of his disciples. She accused me of not being fit to lead a study and insisted that I repent of what I said. I replied that I was sorry if I upset her but would not repent because I believe what I said. I suggested we drop it and get back to the study. She would not stop accusing me and telling me to repent, loudly, stabbing her fingers toward me. Eventually, we moved to prayer, which quieted her. Thereafter, every week, she repeated her demand that I repent. She was relentless and made continuing the study impossible. Eventually, after several weeks, the hostess asked her to leave. It shook me so much, I have not lead a study since. Other things happened that caused me to conclude there were demonic forces involved. This is a much needed video and I feel vindicated. The Benny Hinn disciple eventually left our church of her own accord.

Jehovah's Christian witnesses are the truth and the only organization that Jehovah is using.
The reason why they are different and believe different things is because Jehovah is the interpreter of prophecy, he decides what things mean and he has gradually and carefully overtime revealed his word the way that it should be... I mean here's a classic example of how Christendom understand the Bible John 8:58 is talking about jesus age, but christendom focus on the words "I am" knot actually there in this context as he is referring to the past) and try to link it with Exodus chapter 3 verse 15, the 2 have nothing to do with each other and 1700 years of christendom having the Bible has produced that nonsense... When a person is blinded by a particular doctrine they cannot see the truth no matter how hard they look, And that's why no one in christendom has the truth and only the Jehovah's Christian witnesses do, and when all religion is destroyed, That's when everyone will know who was right and who was wrong... The witnesses are the only religion on earth with this particular belief as far as I know... Jehovah has put everyone on notice.

Mike Winger is one of the only people left that still give me hope and faith to be a Christian. I grew up in the Vineyard in the 90s at Anaheim with all the charismatic big wigs.
I have seen and been through so much spiritual manipulation. I almost died as a child because I became gravely ill. My mother would not take me to the doctor, and instead took me to a Benny Hinn conference to be healed. The doctor said if she waited one more day I would have died. I am so repulsed and disgusted by most charismatic churches that I considered never going back to church. My faith was almost shipwrecked.
I was encouraged by this video and Winger. I am grateful there are still pastors with a backbone. This needs to be done.

There was something so peaceful to know she wouldnt suffer anymore and was with Jesus. It actually eventually got me saved because i started seeking. After i got saved i lost both of my grandparents, on my dads side, 18 days apart. It was hard but i looked to God for my hope and peace. 2:59 6. How He "Slays in the Spirit": you are 1000000% correct Mike. That is EXACTLY how it works. I grew up in the Word of Faith/Benny Hinn/Kenneth Copeland/NAR/Hyper charismatic movement and not only did we go to a charismatic church, my parents also took me to at least one "camp meeting" with a Benny Hinn style speaker with the whole slain in the Spirit thing. The atmosphere was electric, everyone was feeding of of each other's emotional highs, and as the guys in black suits went down the rows slaying and catching and they slayed, two things happened to me at once. First, I WANTED to get slain in the Spirit. Two, I felt this weird tingly energy running through my body and I started swaying as the slay guy came up to me and did a spiritual finger wave inches away from my forehead. I went down. Because I wanted to even though as I did, I knew it was fake. But I decided to believe it was real. You literally just explained what I knew all along about my experience. You are absolutely right. Thank you for taking the time to hypothesize this and share your theory. It's true.

I was never impressed, even as the charismatic I was and still am. I did not see the need for his shananigans and any preacher who places eyes on himself instead of God. So sad what this does for charismatics and the kingdom. Btw, I 've matured in my chatismatic ways and I believe my beliefs and yours align. My husband and I are French. Unfortunately Christians in France don't speak English and when you see a video of Benny Hinn, Joyce Meyer or someone else, everyone thinks they are good Christians and no one does real research on the doctrines that they teach.
We are lucky to speak English (even if it's not perfect) and to be very curious about what is happening in the world among Christians.
In recent years we have become aware of all these false teachings and we have seen that due to lack of knowledge and wisdom, they have spread in the churches in France.
A few months ago we left our church because our pastor began twisting the scriptures 3 years ago. He only talks about healing and miracles. Jesus is no longer at the center. The only person of the Trinity he speaks of is the Holy Spirit, Jesus is only there when we sing (and not always) and God the Father no longer exists in these messages.
He no longer preaches the gospel and even less repentance.
Before being our pastor, he was a friend. We made an appointment with him to speak to him directly about our concerns. He denied everything and just said "that's your impression but it's not true".
We warned him about the people he was inspired by but he didn't want to listen to us.
Shortly afterward, one Sunday at church, he spoke about all the points we had discussed with him and said that people who thought as we did were unbelievers, tools of the enemy. It was at that moment that we understood that our place was no longer in this church.
He completely transformed the church, adding music and lights to create an “atmosphere” conducive to miracles. There are no elders in the church anymore, no one to watch over him. It became “his” church. Always the same songs that talk about miracles and healings. And lately people are falling "under the anointing of the Holy Spirit"
Several long-time Christians have moved away from the church also because they know the Bible, but there are a lot of new ones and i am scared for them...
I remember a "prophecy" there was, the man said he saw our pastor dressed in white like Benny Hinn. We thought it was a false prophecy (because he said a lot of things that weren't biblical) but when I see what's happening, maybe he's becoming a little French Benny Hinn...
Watching your video, we didn't expect to see so many points in common between our pastor and him...
Thank you for your work. You have been a blessing to us during the difficult times we have gone through. I thank God for the work He is doing through you.
I pray that God gives you the strength and wisdom to continue your ministry !
    God bless you Mike.

I pray the Christians who you speak of an do not speak English can soon have the computer automatically translate videos. Written text on internet can already be translated to yr language by the computer very easily. one just has to go into settings and turn it on and I then get buttons at bottom of the web browser to choose which language to display the page in. every once in looooong while the computer translation comes up with errors, mostly that is a problem when the translation ends up meaning the opposite of the original, this is usually only a problem with idioms and slang, things like that may not occur as much in writings about Christianity and theology.

I don't think they really felt it either, but they were in a choir that was supposed to believe in Benny Hinn so they did go down. I had something similar at a Christian camp back when I was a teenager. I was beginning to get cynical about this kind of stuff, so I decided that the next time they did the slaying in the spirit thing I was going to try and stay standing up, on the logic that if it was really God I wouldn't be able to. Well, I did, and the guy made a legitimate effort to push me over, but it didn't work.
It became obvious that there is an un-verbalised script for this kind of thing. Everyone knows what is supposed to happen, and so it does. The Holy Spirit wasn't actually doing anything anything of the kind (and why would he? Pushing people over is stupid), yet people were desperate for a touch from God so they went along with it.

But the times it’s happened to me it was people minimally touching me and it was if I can describe as not being slayed but overwhelmed by God. I will say I was extremely skeptical, and still am, of Pentecostal churches. However, I've recently been going to a Spanish church with my wife, and they are more or less Pentecostal; i.e., they speak in tongues at times, people get slain in the spirit, etc. They do lay hands on those who come up for prayer. However, they have never forced it on anybody. I've never seen them trying to force people down either.
Truly, they feel like family to me and have always made me feel welcome.
I guess the point I'm making is not all Pentecostal churches are bad, but there is probably a higher likelihood of Pentecostal churches falling into this trap.

@pblonrongracie while Mr. Hinn's wording was incorrect, it isn't entirely wrong. The Apostle Paul teaches in 1 Corinthians 11 that anyone that takes communion in an "unworthy manner" that they drink judgement upon themselves. This judgement, of course, is the wrath of God we are all destined to experience if it were not for the grace of Christ whose call we have responded to. We are not saved simply because he did the work, but because we believe in the work that he did and we repent of our sin against him.
If at the time of that teaching you, as you said, did not know your standing with Christ, then to take communion and proclaim his death would have been to take communion in an unworthy manner.
I remind everyone in my church before communion that it is reserved only for those who are repentant and have a saving faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. If they aren't sure, they shouldn't take it.
We don't get to take communion because Jesus loves us. We take communion to remember and proclaim the truth of what Jesus did to save us. Anyone that knows and trusts in Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and is not harboring an unrepentant heart is welcome to come to the table.

God laid on my heart that he would heal my son, but not here on Earth, his healing would come by being taken to heaven. I don't feel God took my son, I think He rescued my son from further suffering. I was angry and hurt deeply, at first, I felt God betrayed me by not healing my son. Now I know he had to rescue my son for my son's own good. My son was fragile, emotionally, and physically. While he was so strong to handle the suffering he went through, it took a toll on him. He was rescued and is safe and free and never has to deal with any more pain or the grief of losing his mom and dad. It makes me angry to see Benny Hinn fake the healing of these people suffering with cancer. Those poor, poor people who have their hope shattered. I learned when my son was dying that hope means the most to those who've lost it. Thank you for your excellent exposure on Hinn. I've been a cult researcher for many years. In the early 90's I was researching the 'Vineyard' so called 'revivals' and had a detour to visit one of Hinn's events.
I can't say I trusted Hinn. But I knew he was aligned with the others I was researching.
You mentioned being 'slain in the spirit.' I certainly didn't go there for this purpose.
But at the end of the stage play, Benny blew his anointing around the stadium of thousands.
We watched in some apprehension as people fell like dominos around the whole stadium.
It started where we were from the front and everyone fell back in their chairs - hard. Including us.
I was totally baffled. I'd known the Lord a long time. This was completely foreign to me.
It lead to demonic attacks after I returned home. Every time it happened I would pray and the Lord stopped it.
I'm not saying this is true about everyone who is 'slain in the spirit.' There could be some where it's humanly manipulated. But this was demonic. I learned more about the final days apostasy when I walked through that door that I ever understood before. I truly had seen, and experienced the beautiful side of evil - with music to control the mind.
I still research these cults, but from a distance. I'll never go near this strange fire again.

Just want to mention one thought. Please check me on this though, since I think I should have some more scripture to back it up:
In my understanding there seems to be some sins which are committed in moments of weakness, and others which can only be done with premeditated decision. For example, someone struggling with drugs/alcohol or porn or lying or anger might sin over and over in their struggle and be truly grieved about their failures, truly repent each time, but continue to struggle because it really is difficult to resist those temptations in the moment. This seems different to me than someone who, for example, repents of cheating but goes on to arrange plane tickets in advance so that they can continue to be with people other than their spouse and lying that it was a business trip. That takes many stages of decision, and is not a failure in a moment of temptation. For someone to repent about that and then continue doing it means the repentance wasn't legitimate. But for the first example, someone struggling with a repeated in-the-moment sin, I think the passage applies where Paul complains that "what I want to do I don't, and what I don't want to do I do!".
      What do you think?

    • @kaneshawilliams855
      @kaneshawilliams855 10 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@brysonorosa632 sin always begins as a thought- and sin is sin, regardless if more thought went into it (as you’ve named, premeditated), or if it was sin chosen in the moment. I think the mark of true repentance is whether or not you’re actually going to war to defeat it. Have you set up accountability? Have you deleted the app leading you to watch pornography? Are you still entering spaces where you’ll be tempted to drink/do drugs? What protections have you put in place to protect yourself- before you reach the moment- where you’ve responded sinfully? There will always be sin we are tempted with in this life. A sign of true repentance and relationship with the Lord, is noticing how that sin affects you. As Christians, we should be grieved by it, knowing it grieves the Father. If we’re not grieved, that should worry us. No matter what the sin.

Benny Hinn was one of those charlatan televangelists that allowed me to dismiss the Truth for way too long in life. I felt it was so obvious that if God allowed such people to prosper on His behalf, He must be complicit with those actions or powerless to stop it.

Agreed! I was raised a Jehovahs witness. When I was 14, I was kind of questioning my faith. A friend secretly took me to her church. Everyone was screaming in tongues, rolling around the floor, crying and laughing. It terrified me. Thankfully, Jesus pulled me out of the JW cult, but it took a very long time. Every time I'd start to question, I'd picture that church, and that stopped me. They are doing very real damage. The funniest thing is God called me back to that same church, and I told Him, "You are kidding, right??" Turned out the church split a few years after I was there specifically over the charasmatic abuse. They are really amazing now ❤ God is so good!

      It's in Deuteronomy 13:1-3
[1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder,
      2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them;
3 Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the Lord your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.]
He (God) does "it" to prove you. vs. what you say in: "I felt it was so obvious that if God allowed such people to prosper on His behalf, He must be complicit with those actions or powerless to stop it."
It's sin. Has sin in it:
      ---- ---- ---- ----
It's God that determined, alone: by himself, what he chose "...to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness..." (Daniel 9:24) - is Jesus Christ.
Didn't choose me, or you, or Benny Hinn. Chose his own Word would be what he determined to God, and God do a work with sin only he can do...
...and already did it in Jesus Christ. It's in none else.
      THEN:
This, "who do you look unto?" When he says, "Look unto me, and be ye saved all the ends of the earth: For I am God, there is none else." - God. Isaiah 45:22
Am I looking unto Benny Hinn? "Who" asked me to look unto Benny Hinn?
Where if I just regard the works of the Lord, and consider the operation of his hands vs. my own, or others, including anyone, even this Benny Hinn: It's a "work" like, a "distraction" to get you to "look unto" it, like a side show vs. God. Regard Benny Hinn's works more.
God. By his Word, "He hath made the earth by his power, he hath established the world by his wisdom, and hath stretched out the heaven by his understanding." (Jeremiah 51:15)
He's the one you, me, everybody to the very ends of the earth publicly himself, not willing any perish but all come to repentance, asked EVERYBODY to look unto him.
God said, "Look unto me," then ..why am I looking unto Benny Hinn? God..., and he speaks. By his Word. These are his Words. Not mine, so in 50 days, or 500 even 5 years. or 50 billion....even into eternity, his Word is still his and will be the same. It will not pass away.
Jesus Christ is the Word of God. So, it's God that says what he wants to utter, by his Word in Matthew 24:24
" For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect."
I know him by his Word.
I know Benny Hinn by his Word. It's in this 4hr video, what Benny Hinn has, for decades, openly and publicly said, by his Word.
It's his own dreamer's dreams he's prophesied of himself. Then, Claims it's God said. The Word of Benny Hinn has lies in it.
When God speaks, doesn't have any lies in it. Not the same.

The last moments of his life were the WORST moments in mine. Twenty five years later - the memory of his passing still brings tears to my eyes... he is in glory and I am happy for his rest. I was reading and he said in the book, which, I don't have any longer, nor do I remember the name of it, he wrote, that he got up, he was so excited, he ran out of the house, and he ran so fast the Holy Spirit had to chase him. I was like what??? We are to follow Jesus; The Holy Spirit leads us. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. May the people that don't see this video, may our Lord open eyes to see the slightest change in what the word actually says and keep reading the Bible first. thank you, Mike! At that time travel still wasn't easy and was costly and a long journey north country to the south part of the country and vice versa. Many years ago when I was a brand new Christian, I had as many positive Benny Hinn experiences as you can imagine minus being actually healed. I read his book and was blown away by it. I went to a crusade. He prayed for me, and I flew across the stage. To This day I don’t really know how to match that up with how disgusting these teachings are. But you know what? It doesn’t matter the word of God over experiences. All day every day no matter what. Thank you, Pastor Mike. You’re doing a great job you’re appreciated by many, including this still, charismatic guy who is so unbelievably ashamed that I ever viewed Benny through the lens I used to. What a gracious and patient God that as long as we don’t let go of his word, he gives us time to see our foolishness.

If the love of God was truly in you why shouldn't you pray for Benny Hinn. Remember like any other human being he might have started off well but lost his way In words of wisdom not forgetting the story of when Mirian was struck by leprosy due to rebuking Moses. Remember touch not my anointed form ( Psalms 105:15). Let the lord deal with him and not you if you don't want judgment from God. Moses who was a servant of God was a man full of imperfections eg anger issues but despite all this God did not spare his judgment upon Miriam when she tried to speak against him. (Numbers 12:2).

@@Sightandmind Psalms 105:15 is a scripture misused by some preachers to insulate them from scrutiny. However, the context of this is the miraculous history of Israel where God had a plan for Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, the patriachs of Israel, that even when they were few, God allowed no one to oppress them (1 Chron 16:19-21). This is not quoted in the New Testament. Jesus himself rebuked the Pharisees and Teachers of the law for their hypocrisy. These spiritual leaders were called out for they compromised God's word. The New Testament has so many passages to test the spirits and not to believe every spirit (This doesn't match the 'touch not my annointed' that is used out of context by preachers who don't want scrutiny now does it?). You cannot blindly follow a prophet or teacher of God just because they claim to be. That isn't what the bible tells us. Paul rebuked Peter publicly in Gal 2:13, and this was not really false teaching, just his actions dividing the church, and this allowed Peter to repent and avoid leading others astray. Paul also calls out real false teachers, Hymenaeus and Philetus, by name, for their false teaching that the resurrection had happened already, because it was so serious and was spreading like 'gangrene', destroying the faith of some 2 Tim 2:15-18. So many warnings to beware of false teachers. Don't let any person using Psalms 105:15/1 Chron 16:22 out of context stop you from following the many Scriptures warning you to beware of false teachers and telling you to test the spirits. Paul commended the Bereans for checking if what he said matched scripture. If Paul was open to scrutiny, why will others not be if they know they are backed by the truth of the Word?

My sister and I were supposedly healed of a lifelong disease at a Benny Hinn crusade in Flint Michigan back in 91 or 92. We were 20 and 21, I’m 53 now, still not healed whatsoever. It hurt our faith because we thought we must not believe enough. We believed so hard. It hurt my Dads faith for the same reason. It happened again at a Morris Cerillo crusade; not healed after being told we were. It’s so cruel to do this to people.
Edit: I’m a a Christian even now and my faith in Jesus’ healing power still strong. It has not changed my belief in His power, I just stopped putting so thought into being healed. I believe He can, and if He does it, great. I’m just more concerned about a relationship with Jesus.
Edit: I wanna clarify, when I say it hurt my faith, I don’t mean my faith in God. I mean it affected me because I felt my faith must not have been good enough or strong enough.

The guy was getting irritated. He tried it AGAIN! Then i was laughing so hard I was nearly in tears. He didn't smack me hard. It was just so strange. My dad was head security at his headquarters in Grapevine, Tx. I was his CEO’s nanny/housekeeper. I saw things you don’t even want to know. I was also abused. I worked for them for 5 months, it felt like 5 years. My dad was wrongfully fired because I fell down the CEO’s stairs at his home while I was working. It was an answer to prayer for me, but what they did to my dad because of it was so wrong. My dad and another employee got the FBI involved, but I’m sure BH paid them off. Nothing happened. They definitely came out, but nothing came from it. I would love to put a video out about everything that I saw, what they did to me and my dad.

I have a rule: if the alleged preacher has private jets and designer clothes, he's spending too much on his own comfort for me to donate in good conscious. Obviously money is fungible, but while $1000 would cover my family's groceries for a month, it wouldn't even cover one of his suits. Even if his theology was sound, I'd never give him a cent; instead, I would give to missionaries reaching unreached people groups or my local church.
Even if he hadn't been exposed in the end, I never would have given money to Ravi Zacharias because apparently he could afford to pay massage therapists a Louis Viton wallet + $500. What _couldn't_ his actual ministry had done if he'd cut his salary by 50 or 75%?

I know this video came out 9 months ago, but thank you, Mike for dedicating time to call this man out.
It's certainly sad, and anger inducing, to watch how he treats his fellow human beings. At one point a man appeared to be seizing (after having been "slain in the spirit") and while it's entirely possible he was merely a willing participant in the hypnotic effect that was created, it's still terrifying to think that he was actually in physical danger. I also noticed a lady on the floor at 4:14:57. Bottom right corner. She's not moving. Everyone else is in their seats, and she's just curled up. And Benny just keeps talking. Maybe she's fine, maybe she got tired from sitting in her seat. God only knows what really happened to her. All I know is that in a normal church, someone would check on her to ensure her safety.
Just a couple of observations. I'm glad that I was finally able to watch this video! I hope that Mike was able to enjoy lots of cuddles with his cat Moxie after he finished this video!

I took a bus to see Benny Hinn in Long Island for a Good Friday service years ago. God had led me to a chapter in Exodus weeks before. I also had been having headaches for months before I went. I was sitting in the auditorium and the smell of vinegar was so strong I could hardly stand it. I looked all around me to see if anyone had vinegar or pickled food. The woman next to me,in front of me couldn’t smell any vinegar. Benny got up and talked about Jesus on the cross being offered vinegar. Then he said he changed his message and that God had led him to a chapter in Exodus. It was the same chapter God led me to. Something happened to me and I got very, very tired as soon as I got back on the bus. I couldn’t stay awake. I mumbled yes, I’m just so tired.i never had another headache after that day. I think God healed the headaches.
