Romanovs: The Real Story

  • Unknown and unrevealed facts, which evince that many truths in regard to the life and death of the Romanovs remain silenced or distorted to this day. Nicholas II was surrounded by the forceful presence of his mother, the Dowager Empress, and his uncles. This generation of Romanovs could have, under normal circumstances, expected another two decades of service to and influence over their nation, and it was with both regret and misgivings that they kissed the hands of their new young sovereign and his Hessian bride.
    This video is produced as part of the project for the book "The Romanov Royal Martyrs”, which is an impressive 512-page book, featuring nearly 200 black & white photographs, and a 56-page photo insert of more than 80 high-quality images, colorized by the acclaimed Russian artist Olga Shirnina (Klimbim) and appearing here in print for the first time.

      Not just towards each other, but all Ortodox nations. If it wasn't for Nikolai to threaten French to go pick up our starving forces from Corfu, if not, he'll switch to Austro-Hungarian side, it's questionable if we would survive as a nation. Whole nation, gouve was in exile, small numb survived, recovered just enough, and went back to liberate their land. They were signed off as dead. Bulgarians ran thinking they were ghosts, seeing almost skeletons with banners, charging toward them "run living, here comes the dead". St Nikolai Romanov.

      Those innocents martyred for their faith will rule over earth in allegiance with the Son of God. Unfortunately too, he had some ideas instilled in him from his ruling ancestors' reigns that were not going to be helpful in that current time for Russia. And, of late, found that my Polish family was also royal family. Which I had never known about until very recent times. Whenever I read or see anything about the Romanovs, it hurts me. My siblings and I were raised Roman Catholic and we also were raised with religion. We prayed daily, said a mystery of the rosary every Saturday morning, went to confession weekly and mass 3 times per were week. We went to Catholic schools for grade school and high school. My middle sister and I went on to get our degrees from Jesuit University. All of this background sets the stage for this. My family was and continues to be tight and gentle and always family oriented.
    It is the most important way to be raised. We all raised our families the same way and there is now that same closeness among all the neices and nephews. The Romanovs were a true family, unlike a business as we see a lot of today with royals. Even everyday families are not always close like this.

    I absolutely love everything about the Romanov’s and am saving to get the book , I’ve watch every thing over and over again in case I missed something my love for these people ,I feel like I know them , one thing I noticed in your stories that go with each video , sorry not to be pickie but you have mixed up Olga and Tatiana a lot , they do look alike , you said in this one Olga was not taking to being a nurse that well but good with the books , in the last video you said that Tatiana was not to good as a nurse for her sensitivity and sweet heart ,she did better on doing the bandages and doing the logs in the medical books , others is just you’d show a pic of Olga and it would be Tatiana ,and vice versa they really do look alike , I have their faces sketched perfectly in my mind for years , I’m very sorry I didn’t want to bring this up at all ,but the more I thought about it year later I had to mention something out of respect ,not to be bold ,or nasty , or mean I love your book ,I love the Romanov’s God Bless . Ps. Please excuse my miss spelling ,see that’s my fall out . Your Book is the Best Ever ! I watch the videos of it over and over with such warmth and love .

      If you are interested in the truth about the life and death of the last Romanov family, as well as to what really took place in Russia during that turbulent era, then we highly recommend our book, which offers previously unpublished materials strictly from primary and archival sources. Our book brings to light a multitude of unknown and unrevealed facts, which evince that many truths remain silenced or distorted to this day. If you like to learn more, you can visit our official website: www.romanovs.eu/en-book
      In the pages of the book, the eye of the reader’s mind will be apprised of the portraits of the Romanov family's psyche, depicted with the colors of their very own words from the personal writings of the family and of those who lived very close to them.

      If you were to actually do some actual research, Russia had the best overall economy in the world right before the Revolution. Much of the hunger that happened during WWI was created by the constant workers strikes called for by the Revolutionaries to not only create hunger, but to undermine the Russian war effort. Tens, if not hundreds of thousands of Russian Soldiers died because they had no food, clothes, weapons or munitions because of the strikes called for by the Bolshevics.

    I believe that my Grandfather was a Cossack member of his Majesties Leib Guard! He did something in 1909 or 1910, that caused him to run from St. Petersburg. He ran to Canada first 1910 where he became a recruiter for the Canadian National Railway. He was fluent in several languages and I believe born in Dubno Riven Oblast Ukraine. Don''t know for sure his name but he was born in 1881 or 1882. His name may have been Gregoriy Kositsky?? Can someone tell me what he did and verify the name?? He loved the Tsar and was Old Faith Orthodox. He named some of his children after the Royal Family!! He moved to the US in 1917. Thank You.

    So they got the personality of the fictional version of Anastasia correct in movie. Even though it wasn’t accurate to story. The fictional 1997 story of Anastasia kept the hearts and minds of Romanov alive. I’d love to know what your take on the film was? Not sure if you ever address that on your channel. Since you guys seem to cover the sad real story.

      But, Sweetie, it IS a real sad story! It's REAL and is really SAD, indeed.
      Would you rather send the story through Disney Channel and and rewrite the end to a happy one? Like with the little mermaid?

    • @TheSSUltimateGoku
      @TheSSUltimateGoku 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ane-Louise Stampe fictional stories are told by many different people throughout ages there’s always different adaptations help just recently they came out with an Abraham Lincoln movie where he was a vampire slayer not even joking. I’m not saying that people shouldn’t look up the real story but the fairytale story of Anastasia is more of a fictional what if adaptation it’s not supposed to be the real thing if people want a real documentary they should look it up on the history channel or this channel I guess to.

    • @TheSSUltimateGoku
      @TheSSUltimateGoku 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ane-Louise Stampe I’m not saying people shouldn’t watch the real sad story I’m saying fictional adaptations happen all the time I look at it more as a what if fantasy scenario I don’t look at it as the real thing. We all know the real Anastasia doesn’t make it out. But that doesn’t mean we can’t watch a fantasy fiction film based off of a real life tragedy most fairytale stories are based off real life advance but then they have a kiddush adaptation to them so they can be more of a happy ending. Even the little mermaid fairy tail myth that you’re using as an example is much more sinister in the original story that it is in the Disney adaptation.

    • @TheSSUltimateGoku
      @TheSSUltimateGoku 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ane-Louise Stampe The problem is when you make a fictional adaptation in the Disney formula like 20th Century Fox did you have to make it more kid friendly. The reason why the 1997 film primarily never mentions the Soviet Union is most likely due to the fact that parents probably don’t wanna see little kids films having communist stuff in it not to mention also the film came out in 1997 which is only six years removed from the collapse of the Soviet Union. So it probably wouldn’t of been the best idea at the time to include stuff from the Soviet Union. However they kind of rectify that in the Anastasia Broadway play which is basic off the 1997 storyline if you haven’t seen it as there is a lot of Soviet union references in there as well as the replacement of the Rasputin villain for a Soviet union bolsheviks soldier named “Glad”.
