If alex pereira wins this fight and considering he saved two ufc cards this years, he should call out Jon jones for the heavyweight title and make the ufc do anything they can to make the fight.
1-it would be the first time in ufc history a ufc fighter attempts 3 devision champion.
2- alex is probably the only guy jon jones would be interested in fighting other than stipe and he talk about it recently.
3-Jon jones in his career never fought a historic level puncher like alex pereira, the only guy who come close to that level of power was rumble jhonson and everyone wanted to see that fight.
4-its a very favorable fight for jon jones.
5- lastly with all those factors and the interest it will create for the fans it will be one of the biggest ppv fight ever.

Plus his power he can ko anyone even heavyweights gives him a chance against everyone, he hits even harder than even Francis.
Rumble johnson was a 170er and he had enough power to ko heavyweights, Melvin manhoelf was a 185 mer and he koed mark hint. And alex pereira hit harder than all of them and he is bigger.

If Chandler is effectively retired, and knows that in his own mind, but will basically come out of retirement for the Conor fight, then that's a logical move. If he thinks he still has any chance at the belt (he doesn't) then he's handled this horribly, sacrificed two years of earnings and opportunity while getting older and being inactive. His career is basically over as well, and maybe he already acknowledged that and was willing to come out specifically for Conor.

I'm not sure if that is his mindset or not but I like his commitment at keeping Conor cornered into taking the fight at some point. lol I don't believe Conor wants to fight him as it's dangerous and he's coming off a gruesome injury but Chandler isn't relenting and it's preventing Conor from hand picking an easy fight. lol If Chandler moves on, I would bet Conor has a new fight lined up instantly.
I think Conor want's out of his contract as well but still has two fights, and he doesn't want to lower his value upon leaving the UFC on a loss or two. Conor is part owner of BKFC now, and I think he intends on competing there once his contract is up.
Either way, it feels like Chandler has him cornered, and it's pretty entertaining. lol

I’m surprised people thought it was a 100% guarantee that it was gonna happen even after all those videos posted by Conor getting drunk partying and looking bulk up. He also posted old training videos that I remember seing before to hype up people and people ate it up saying his looking good and sharp so people get less worry saying oh he been training not partying.

Sean O’Malley is too weird for the highest level of stardom, but he’s definitely up there (like Post Malone, but for mma). I imagine very few big sponsors want a skinny guy with face tattoos and pink hair representing their brand. Meanwhile, even brands like Topps are featuring Pereira.
1. O'Malley has alot of sponsorship deals on his table and is being paid by at least 8 of them. Several big name companies too, Reebok, Monster Energy, Venum, and Crypto. 2. Post Malone is a bad comparison, Sean is not even remotely as well liked as Post Malone and has a personality about as interesting and animated as plain oatmeal without sugar. Which is actually ironic because that's what he calls himself. Dude is all image and zero depth.

Him retiring doesn't let him get out of that contract. He has to fight it out. Ariel already said McGregor can be back in 2 months. We still would get a McGregor fight this year and if he doesn't get hurt against Chandler maybe a fight at the end of the year too or begining of next year. He has 3 fights left. McGregor will fight out his contract and then maybe have a few boxing fights then retire. He won't have Dana or the UFC dipping their hands in his money in a boxing fight once he's finished out his contract.
