  • Metal detecting along the river in an area that has difficult ground. A lot of black sand but with the 10x5 Coiltek coil it was extremely stable. I found a good handful of finds including a spill with a silver! I absolutely love this coil on and off the shore to get into this tough places. Eric used the Vanquish 540 and I used the Equinox 800 and it produced!
Thank you so much for watching!

Great hunt guys! That Coiltek coil gets around the brush and vegetation very nicely! Very cool buckle! Sweet KG5 small cent and KG6 quarter! I don’t dig silver quarters that often and they’re a really nice sight coming out of the ground! Some cool rock formations there! Definitely some deep magmatic activity of the Grenville Orogeny from just over a billion years ago! Actually some of the youngest rocks of the Canadian Shield! ATB and happy hunting!

On our way back from a group dig and I think three silver quarters were found today.. I'm always surprise to see them in these really hard hunted sites..

Very cool! Sounds like it was a great outing! It’s the older ones (pre-1937) that I find really tough to get. Two years without digging one until recently!

That Coiltek might be the right small coil for me. Unless I can get used minelab somewhere for a discount. I have few spots it would be perfect for small and overgrown where plenty of stuff were found. Nice adventure! enjoyed as always.

Thanks! I have the 6" minelab and the 10×5 Coiltek and like them both. I do prefer the coverage I get with the 10x5 though.. Both are really sensitive with great separation.

Great finds, it would be interesting to pan some of that black sand, you never know there might be some fine gold in there!

Thanks for the video very interesting ,those rocks look like some volcanic activity has taken place around the area.
Hope ur safe from the terrible fires in BC
We get them on a regular basis here in Australia and they are devastating
    Thanks again for the video
    Stay safe

We are far and safe in Quebec, we just received a lot of rain but not before we had a months drought. It started really early in the season. Out west they are dealing with record setting heat and fire right now.. it’s terrible!

I actually haven't switched from field 2 the whole time I've used the NOX. Great hunt!!!! Love the small symbol silver!

I switch between park 2 and field 2, even some single frequencies now lol.. I’m starting to recognize some differences.. 5 khz falses less on nails and so on.. just really starting to make sense out of it lol. ☺️.. it’s a lot of fun.. after the learning curve I said it’s time to play ha ha!

Oh, that was so nice to watch. The lack of partner abuse made that video. I even heard at least one endearment. Laurie, I'm so pleased the meds are working. Those beach rocks appeared to be heavily folded sedimentary rocks with the bedding now vertical. Trust me I'm a doctor.

You will love that 10x5! It’s seriously a great coil! Loving all three but haven’t had a chance to use my 15” as much as I would like to yet ☺️

Thank you! It’s always been a difficult place to detect, I was really impressed by the handful of finds I made. We’ve detected this area a lot over the years.. it was nice to have my machine stable for once there ☺️

Yes! This one site was so hard to detect, our whites would overload on the beach area! Loved how I could use field or park in such a high mineralized site ☺️.

Nice job you two, looks like a nice peaceful place to detect. I'm struggling for permissions because it's been so hot and dry, I refuse to dig someone's lawn and the fields are all in crops. I enjoyed watching, thanks for the video!

It’s been a really tough season for soft ground, we didn’t have much choice on sites. For the first time in a month we got out detecting in grass today! We’ve had a lot of rain and the ground is soft again ☺️…. Come on fall for the fields to open up ☺️

nice looks nice small coil not sure to get one or the 6inch currently im still loving the other coiltek coil i own 11inch minelab but not used that one yet as pretty sure the coiltek one is more depth and more searching specialy in a field

    • @RelicDirtyhands
      @RelicDirtyhands  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

Unsure which one has more depth but I have seen an advantage of owning these different sizes of coils. Small coils, less depth but more sensitive and better separation great for high trash. Large coils, great ground coverage and more depth works best in low trash. ☺️
