Loved it I'm not so much into Christmas soaps but yours is just a little bit Christmas but not overwhelming or in your face Christmas loved it love all your soap making you are very talented
I love your ombre! Your technique is so nice to watch. I also really love your poinsettia's on top - so pretty. Thanks and have a lovely holiday season!
So, watching this at silly o’clock and listening to you talk about your soaping temperature. I’m huddled and remembering they’ve threatened snow in the morning… which… gets me to thinking… How does the changeable weather here in the U.K. affect your process? I don’t think you’ve covered it off already. It’s a lovely soap, love the top sneaking down over the sides! 🥰 Will there be a December release… I feel a birthday treat coming on!
OOh that's quite a good question, to be honest, for me the winter doesn't have as much affect as the summer. When it's cold outside the central heating will be on in the house, so if anything the house is at a more predictable temperature as the thermostat keeps it at 22c (about 71F) so I just warm my oils and lye up and off I go. I do remember in the summer though, I think it was my North America soap, it was a really hot day and that did make my soap trace faster, at one point I actually put he jug of soap I wasn't using right away in the fridge.
This is a really beautiful soap. My mother always insisted that the "etta" pronunciation was the true and correct version, but I think "et-y-a" is more common and both are apparently acceptable.
Oh it's so beautiful! Love the whole soap, but especially the ombre and the flowers on top just add that gorgeous finishing touch. Wonderful as always, thanks Lisa! Your videos are fantastic to watch!
Very pretty Lisa! I love the piping on the top! Just beautiful...Ombre is on my list to try next year, I'll need to refer back to this video before I give it a go🤗
I do indeed, if you disperse it properly you can just stir it in, if you put TD in and then use a blender, it it goes whiter you haven't dispersed properly. There's nothing wrong with using a blender, a lot of people do as they don't disperse properly on the 1st place, but I like to be able to not blend it in, especially if I'm after a fluid batter. I always disperse in oil, I prefer that as it doesn't add extra water to your soap
That ombre is just beautiful. I like how it’s such a gentle color change.
Thank you so much Carol , that's very kind of you.
Agreed! It's perfect!
I don't think anything you make looks simple Lisa. This soap is so strikingly beautiful

Thanks so much, I know it's just so stupid isn't it especially as we all follow the same regulations, such a shame
Love your Ombre technique and I would like to what you used to hold your box during your layering?
Thanks so much Veronica, I use the 'Cheshire cat' angler from Custom Craft tools
So much better then traditional Christmas soap, Lisa who is the singer in video?
Thanks so much. I use Epidemic sound for my music. These song are 'Loving Caliber' and Lvly :-)
@@IDreamInSoap, thank you . 🙂
How do you always seem to have oils and lye ready to keep adding different colors at different times?
I masterbatch my oils and lye, so I can just pour off the small amounts any time I need them
Do you disperse your TD in warm water? Thank you
She has a video about how she disperses her titanium dioxide. if you search 'I dream in soap titanium dioxide' it will come up.
