    My favorite thing about your videos is how you share what you learned and what you would do differently. I also appreciate that you are effected by shiny object syndrome as well! I loved your entry, Terri! Congratulations!

      Yes! The northern lights is exactly what I thought of, too! I’ve only seen them once, but will never forget it. Magical, ethereal and mesmerizing…. This soap captured that!
      Congratulations on winning the challenge - it’s well deserved. And I enjoyed watching and learning through the five-batch process. Never give up at good enough!

    I love it when you make multiple soaps in one video using different techniques. Explaining why each technique did or didn’t turn out how you imagined is beyond helpful. Also, CONGRATULATIONS on your win! I don’t make fancy soaps (yet) but I sure love watching others do it and yours are amazing.

    It doesn't just stop at the technique, but I feel the real design. So, rather than being made technically, it feels really artistic because it feels like a picture is being shown. It's really beautiful!

    You do beautiful work. This bar reminded me of a summertime evening fire. You could add brown ‘fire wood’ on the bottom with flames coming up and the fragrance I would put with that would be a smoky marshmallow.

    It was very cool to see your design progress through multiple batches, especially when you took the time to go down a rabbit hole to investigate a design element you loved. I can sometimes be too mission-oriented and lose the opportunity to just play and explore. Playing and exploring, IMO, is what keeps creativity going and wards off burnout. I do think what you learned on those side quests informed your final design.

    I always wondered why soaps have a dull surface look... Is there any way to make a marble soap have a smooth shiny surface like a marble tile? That'll be really cool.

    • @TreeMarieSoapworks
      @TreeMarieSoapworks  ปีที่แล้ว

      You can use a steamer. It gives a shiny look. However, in my opinion, it gives the soap a used look, but it's all in the eye of the beholder.

You have the most beautiful techniques, but also, and this is not soap related, your voice is very soothing and relaxing, I have severe asthma,I have recently been very sick and have had a lot more trouble breathing and getting any sleep, even with pure oxygen and breathing treatments I panic.
