i think the lesson in the first episode makes sense since rarity offered to make them outfits for FREE. the lesson isnt just to own up to a design a designer makes for you even if you dont like it, the lesson is that you should be grateful for a gift a friend gives you even if it isnt in your taste, since they put their time and energy making something just for you. the mane 6 were completely wrong in shaming rarity for the dresses she made for them, and especially since those dresses that her friends made almost costed her her dreams of being a designer at canterlot.
I agree they were wrong for shaming her designs but I do think that when you work on a gift for someone (especially if it’s a wearable gift) you have to make sure it’s something they’ll be comfortable and happy with, so I think she should’ve asked them what they wanted before working on the designs. This is not me excusing their behavior tho!
@ true! she probably shouldve asked for their help while she did her work like she did later on instead of winging it, but the mane 6 are still learning communication early episodes so what can you do 😭
Yeah, new Eons MLP react! 7:23 A glimpse of Fluttershy potential bold personality coming out here, along with her deep fashion knowledge, maybe deeper than Rarity's! 8:28 THE SENTENCE! THAT'S ONE OF THE FANDOM'S CARDINAL SENTENCE!
I love "Suited For Success!" Fun fact, That was literally the first episode of mlp I ever watched it was the one that got into the mlp fandom in the first place that's why it's one of my favorite season 1 episodes! And of course, "Art Of The Dress" is still considered to be one of the best and most memorable season 1 songs to this day!!! "Feeling Pinkie Keen" is one more of season 1's greatest episodes! Because once again we have another thing about Pinkie Pie that's better off not being questioned. Although, I often compare that particular episode of mlp to the "Ed, Edd, n Eddy" episode "Sorry Wrong Ed" because both episodes partly involve a main protagonist getting hurt a lot.
“Suited For Success” is the episode that got me to like Rarity a bit more. As an artist myself, I understood her sense of creativity with the dresses she made for her friends. And yes, those first dresses she made for them are wonderful. Fun Fact: The artists behind the designs of the bad dresses found it very challenging to come up with for Twilight and the others. “Art of the Dress” is a good song, imo; one of my favorites of the season.🙂
Feeling Pinkie Keen is one of those episodes fans are more split on due to the muddled ending moral. The episode follows a pretty typical "punish the skeptic" trope, and the ending can definitely be read as "just accept some things can't be explained by logic and science and you need blind faith". But really, a more thorough look shows that Twi is just being a bad scientist by ignoring plentiful empirical evidence in favor of her initial dismissal. It's not about ignoring reason for faith, but rather changing your mind to match what you can actually observe. But the ending letter really doesn't explicitly address the actual lesson and is just kinda sloppy.
Yeah I thought the wording of the lesson was kinda weird but I could tell by the rest of the episode they were definitely not going for the blind faith idea, especially because we know Twilight would never accept that!
“Feeling Pinkie Keen” is one of my most favorites, not just from the season, but as a Pinkie focused episode. I always get some good laughs seeing Twilight be the victim of the unfortunate incidents that occur when Pinkie’s senses go off. And also, seeing her literally burst into flames and temporarily become a Rapidash from Pokémon was cool! Overall, this episode is a classic slapstick fest that I enjoy watching.
Pinkie Pie's sense is like Spider-Man sense. Twilight needs to believe in Pinkie's predictions. She even turned into Rapidash. One important lesson to learn is to never question Pinkie Pie 🕷🕷🕷🔥🔥🔥🤣🤣🤣
First episode I’d understand if it was like a commission/paid piece for them to be that critical and for them to want exactly what they wanted. However this was a gift, a project Rarity wanted to do for fun for her friends. I understand wanting to get exactly what you wanted but it was a gift not a commissioned piece so I think the lesson worked.
In "Suited For Success" Fluttershy talked about "French Haute Couture" but France can't really exist in MLP world exactly like in our world,so that was an error and later(at least in two MLP books,as I read on line)they referred to France as "Prance" ^^' :)
Oh, definitely two episodes I waited for you to see! Didn't the doll look a different direction last time...? Anyway... 0:11 Well if that doesn't fit perfectly to episode 15? 1:00 Yeah, and that cat is the second-most evil pet in the show :D 4:58 Best singing voice in the show!! Maybe second, but that'd be spoilers... 8:00 I don't think that she's so much a fashion girlie, but first of all self-sufficient, which means that she does need quite a bit of basic crafting knowledge, including of course sewing. 8:12 This constellation thing is interesting, because it means that Equestria has the same night sky like Earth, implying that it exists somewhere on Earth... 8:54 Hahahahaha! 😆 To be fair, the two have similar hairstyles By the way, Hoity-Toity was modeled (pun not intended) after designer Karl Lagerfeld. 17:10 She's running on Pinkie Pie physics at the moment :D 23:34 Interesting question. I tend to go with "parallel dimension".
Ah yes, Feeling Pinkie Keen, the first 'controversial' episode, mainly because people wilfully misinterpreted the episode as basically being the Faith vs. Skepticism debate and siding with Faith (which in the 2010s militant-atheist internet would be a big no-no), when even the writer himself came out and explained it was really more 'stubborn adherence to established thought is bad, and openness to new ideas even if you dont understand them yet is good'. Cool guy, btw, he wrote a bunch of earlier MLP episodes and while a few of them ended up being 'controversial', they're all really sharply written and goddamn hilarious.
If this is the same writer that did the settler apologia buffalo episode, then it says more about you than those who interpreted Feeling Pinkie Keen as Faith Vs Skepticism. When you can say "do you remember the racism episode?" And get the response, "which one?" You got a problem. When the clarifier, "in season one," gets responded to with, "that doesn't helpfully narrow it down," you gotta ask some questions.
The more you mention She-ra, the more I want to see you react to it even though I know you already know it, lol. Loving your MLP reactions so much. As a hordcore fan it feels like reliving those first experiences alongside you and I am SO looking forward to the later seasons where the quality is even higher! ^_^
As much as I love She-ra and wish there were more reactions to it, I fail to see how a reaction from someone who's already seen it would be entertaining
Rainbow dash wasn’t in Pinkie Keen but she was mentioned they don’t have to appear in every episode but i thought it was strange that they mentioned a character that’s not involved since she is one of the main characters they are called the main six after all
Random thought, but looking back on the show, Rarity got made BANK. It's never touched on in the show, but according to calculations some people did, she's theoretically way richer than the richest person on earth by the end of the series. (Dunno why I felt the need bring this up when this has nothing to do with anything)
Considering we've calculated her net worth by the end of the show, in conservative estimates, she's at least a literal trilionaire (shoutout to Star Strike).
"My Little pony" is a wonderful animated series FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY, with an incredibly detailed universe /ent, philosophy, economics, really pressing, difficult and life problems. The animated series is usually interesting to people of any gender and age. It helps to get away from the gray, cruel and rotten reality for a while, and immerse yourself in the fascinating, epic, and incredibly cool adventures of the main characters, but, as I said earlier, the cartoon is deeply and thoroughly thought out, down to the smallest detail, which is why it is liked by such a huge number of adults who have formed a full-fledged, multinational the subculture of BRONY (most of whose adherents are adult bearded uncles from 20 to 45 years old, just a little), based on the values and moral norms laid down in this wonderful cartoon! So, if you decide to join us! Our community is one of the few where there are extremely kind, understanding people who will always support, accept you for who you are, etc.! In general, WELCOME in EQUESTRIA!!!!
If we’re continuing a heads up for the movies would be in the order of after season 3- equestria girls, after season 4-rainbow rocks, after s5- friendship games, and the rest I think (I’m not sure) is ok to watch anytime. (Plz correct me if I’m wrong on that)
Sorry lovie it’s already really hard for me to do it once a week. I don’t have a lot of free time, but maybe in the future I’ll be able to. I really appreciate your support tho! ❤️❤️❤️
Honestly, I feel you on Feeling Pinkie Keen leaving a bad taste in your mouth. I have a different reason for disliking it than you do, obviously, but this was something that, combined with the upcoming episode, Over A Barrel, leaves a bit of a distasteful impression of the creator, Lauren Faust.

Fluttershy knows her fashion knowledge and Rarity is surprised by that
😲😲😲🤣🤣🤣
AINT NO WAY I JUMPED IN JOY WHEN I SAW YOU POST-

About Fluttershy’s sewing knowledge, imo that makes her a fashion girl! She might not care about trends but she definitely cares about the craft 💖
@@bluereacteons Well, she definitely knows a thing or two about fashion 😉
Feeling Pinkie Keen is probably one of the more controversial episodes because of the moral, but it's fun slapstick.

This reaction gotta be rage bait
Why?
i would hope a reaction to my little pony friendship is magic wouldn’t enrage anyone.. 😭
