Insane! 28:31 to 29:00 - what tremendous breath control! I feel grateful that I can still have a glimpse of this Gandharva but my heart yearns for more!
Also what variety he creates! He invokes Abdul Karim Khan through some _Piya bin nahi avat chaina_ -esque phrases, Dinanath Mangeshkar through the use of chromatic notes and even creates an avirbhava of Sohani towards the end!

What a wonderful rendition of Lord Krishna's leela on the Occasion of Holi. The " Pichu kaari " or the Color Spraying hand pump is melodiously sung in different types signifying the multiple hues of water color on The Holi festival. Blessed indeed is the uploader of this Video.

True. If possible try to listen to the Khamaj Thumri he sang during AIR Sammelan in 1991. I have a recording with real bad quality recording. Would love to find if someone has recorded it.
pls do upload that. Bad audio quality chalega. In fact, i enjoy scratchy, grainy audios more because they feel like they're super ancient ;)
@@FarhanAmin1994 I will try (it is on Sony minidisc and can't be converted in to MP3 easily). More than the scratches, recording is interrupted in many places.
