PS5 swabbie here. These exploits are something i suspected existed due to how the game worked, but i didn't know they would actually work. Will try them out, specially that Merchant one to level them up quicker.
Its actually a pretty harmless/risk free trick for the goldhoarders, - pick an ancient vault missoin, - park at Crooked Masts, - get a map piece on that very island - if not then re pick the mission, - guaranteed Krakens Fall vault key, - if the vault key is not there then restart the mission, -(if the map is on this very island you just randomly dig with a shovel, it doesnt take a lot of time since the island does not have a lot of spawn points for the chest, occasionally with a marked location of the key), - stack keys until you are bored, - go to the Krakens Fall, - loot the vault a bunch of times, - pick up everything really fast with a harpoon rowboat, - made 600k in 4 hours so its 150k/hr. - If you want risk free,(my most efficient theory) - go to the Crooked Masts without the emissary, - get the keys, - rowboat to the Krakens Fall, - get all the loot, - go back to the ship without the rowboat, - go to the nearest outpost, - get the emissary, - go pick up your rowboat, - get grade 5 immediatly, - sell the loot... profit
I did the Rapier Cay Vestige of Power, and I got only 1 Vestige of Power for like 15 minutes of doing the exploit. The Ashen version of it still works and has much better drop chances, if you to Flames End and park on the North Side of the Island and keep repeating voyages there's only a small chance that you will get hit with the flaming rocks of balls from the volcano
The rapier cay one is amazing with three people, you can have one person on island killing the skeletons, two people on ship cancelling and starting voyage, me and my friends did this for 2 hours and I went from gold hoarder 70 to 94, it also makes around 200-300k an hour
do the order of souls one after diving to an ashen winds. the skull is op for killing skeletons of all kinds and you can "recharge" it by just burrying it inside a treasure chest and digging it back up. it also doesn't lose any worth anymore
If you have 2 or more poeple, theres a duplication glitch for the merchant surplus trading boxes you can buy and sell at other islands, you just go to buy them, have a friend blunder bomb you out of range of the npc, buy the first 9 surplus boxes, have the friend move them onto the boat and repeat. this works with the storage crates too, but you can buy them all and open the firework menu and go back for them to restock. With a group of 4 you can easily make millions an hour, tho i would recommend not doing more than 15 blunder cycles at a time as you are sitting in one spot buying boxes for a long time and its easy to get jumped. most i ever did at 1 time was 30 and just harpooning the almost 300 crates takes a few minutes Edit: This worked as of 2 weeks ago, i havent tried it recently but i didnt read about it in the patch notes so it should still work
am I the only confused why I have sat here for five minutes, and haven't got a single lost shipment for plunder outpost. (of course I am looking for a way to quicker the process of hitting level 50 merchant)
Cant you still just go to a merchant, open the supplies tab, have a mate blunderbomb you away from the merchant and just buy infinite supplies, immediately getting you flag grade 5 and if you swap while selling still making a decent profit each?
i trued manifesto one but the manifesto only spawns once and no matter how many times i reset voyage it wont spawn again im guessing im doing it wrong but idk wut?
@MrRobotsk8r As someone who is also working on OOS solo I recommend getting the ashen winds skull then running “ashen medley for order of souls voyage” (something like that) and if you start the voyage wait until you get flintlock peninsula and fetchers rest for the skeleton lord/skeleton crew, and you can just repeat that back to back as long as you don’t finish the mission (so just don’t do the ghost ship battle) ez bread
@@twelveofiveI’ve seen this method I just dislike stacking loot alone I feel hard pressed running the whole sloop to defend it sometimes I’m not all hyped up and just want to chill and grind shit is weak appreciate the tip tho

There's an area on the west side where you don't get hit at all if you park it right
