AUDI in Europe say their transmissions are sealed for life. That Of course is for the life of the manufacturer's warranty on the car which is just a couple of years. The manufacturers of the transmission ZF, say a different thing, giving fluid and filter change at specified intervals. Think of all that shearing of the molecules in auto and CVT boxes. The lubricity and debris circulating make not changing the fluids just nuts.

I change my oil every 3000 miles, and automatic transmission fluid at 30,000.
I dont change brake fluid except when doing brake service as its not a humid climate where hygroscopic contamination is as much of an issue. I dont recommend it to customers in the high plains where I work.
I have customer who bought a car when it was 2 years old, and religiously changes the oil....every 3000 miles.
Despite being one of Fords worst engines...a 351 M.....his car is still running on the original engine.....at 386,000 documented miles with two timing chain kit replacements. The 5 digit odometer has turned over 3 times in 47 years.
THAT is what lubrication maintenance will do for you.

I check my tire pressure every week and do a circle check around the vehicle, so there aren't any leaks or bulbs burnt out.

Especially now, when owners are keeping them longer since the price of vehicles has (still) gone through the roof.

My Lexus is350 has 170,000 miles. Is it true I shouldn't change the fluid? I don't think it has ever been changed.

Americans avoid 'using' Brakes. They don't wear as much that way. 🇦🇺

LOL Customers come in because brakes are making a "noise' They are metal on metal and time for new pads and rotors or shoes and drums, along with the occasional caliper or wheel cylinders.
Probably have the radio up too loud to hear most sounds.

I've been driving since 1968 and have never let anyone else change my oil or touch my brakes. The oil is your car's lifeblood and the brakes protect your family's life.
