That place looks sooo awesome!!! Those type of places are always amazing experience. I love how much in control we are of our experience. Special video once again!
Thank you! Yeah, it was nice just being able to order off my phone at my own pace and seeing the action happening in the kitchen. Plus, the food was amazing!
I’ve been procrastinating forever about this place but your review has made me completely committed to going this weekend. Thank you and keep up the great content.
That first bowl looked incredible, I had 4 bowls of Ramen over the last 2 days, I love it. I always have to get the extra pork belly though, because two pieces per bowl don't seem to cut it for me. Ramen portions tend to be small for the price but so worth it. I usually look for the restaurants that use a 24 hour bone broth.
Yeah, that first bowl was really special! I know what you mean about the portion sizes, usually I always get an appetizer, side, or extra noodles because one bowl never cuts it for me. Indeed, the pork is one of the best parts! I think that my favorite types of ramen are the bowls with lots of stuff in it, but of course, it all starts with the broth and noodles.
Absolutely! It seems like so many places try to do too much with their ramen, but instead should focus first on the broth and noodles. Yeah, I'm always on the hunt for good pho as well.
You been to any classic ramen shops in NYC? If so, what are your faves? I can def recommend my faves if you’re interested I have some unique places up my sleeve I’d like to tell you about 👌🏻
I'm always open to recommendations! I really enjoyed Ivan Ramen, but there are so many places I've yet to try. Tonchin is a place that I plan on checking out soon.
Ivan is one of my faves. I love their appetizers too. Some other good spots are Ramen Ishida (truffle-infused shoyu broth) and Totto Ramen (chicken broth-focused ramen). I loved Tonchin! The smoked dashi ramen there is very unique and so flavorful. I’ve tried Ichiran and Ippudo also. I’d pass on Ichiran if I were you, but Ippudo is pretty good. The only good thing about Ichiran in my opinion is the cool private ramen booths you get to sit at.
@@joeb-vu4ds Awesome! Thanks for the tips! I've heard of Totto Ramen and I definitely have to go there. I've probably walked past Ramen Ishida, but I'm unfamiliar with it, but I did just look them up and it sounds like a place I also need to check out. Yeah, I've heard people say similar things about Ichiran. I'll probably go sometime just for the experience of the booths, but I'm not expecting any mind-blowing ramen.
Who needs a slice of cake or a warm cookie when you can simply have another bowl of ramen for desert? Excellent choice.
Indeed! I love a good dessert, but if I had to choose, I would mostly go with savory over sweet.

Thank you! I hope you enjoy it!
You could do a whole tour just ramen and I would be happy…good job fella
Thank you! There are definitely more ramen spots that I want to make videos on.
I went last October and it was around a 30-45min wait. And it looks like we sat at the exact same spot!! Glad you enjoyed it!
Yeah, I saw some videos of how long the lines were. It looked intense! But yeah, I really enjoyed it, especially the tsukemen!
Hey buddy! I just found your channel and I'm really enjoying your videos! Keep it up!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate it!
Amazing review! Thank you for posting this!!
Thank you so much for watching!
Good review, thanks! Could you do one for Kuu Ramen in the financial district? Love that place, especially the fried squid appetizer.
Thank you! I might check out that restaurant in the future.
There's a place at 9 St. Mark's called Oh Taisho. It's a Yakitori place. It's excellent. I hope you get to try it some time.
Thanks for the recommendation! I'll definitely have to try it!
Wow, looks great! It looks better than the top ramen I had the other day. Good work!
Thank you! It was some special food for sure! I'm still thinking about that tsukemen!

Great as always, what was the korean joint you said was your favourite!
Thank you! It was Jeju Noodle Bar, which is an incredible restaurant!
It's all about the broth! There's a really good pho joint right across the street from me.... Come check it out!
