I realize this is meant to be an introductory video, but I think it would be worth noting that VWF is present in multiple components of the blood and the vessel wall in multiple forms. It is present in both the Weibel-Palade bodies of endothelial cells as well as platelet granules. On top of that, large VWF multimers flow freely within the plasma. Immunostaining has also shown VWF is stored in the subendothelium (presumably bound to collagens), which further primes the exposed vessel wall to be pro-adhesive. Lastly, fibrin tends to accumulate closest to the vessel wall and decreases toward the lumen, effectively preventing total vessel occlusion by the hemostatic plug.

I think its "Gp 1b ix-v" receptor on the platelets which binds von willebrand factor and "gp IIb/IIIa" receptor which binds fibrinogen! Any correction will be appreciated!
It is both actually. Vwf binds Gp 1b ix v and helps in cell adhesion to vessel wall. Gp 2b 3a, is in resting state, when Vwf binds to it, it gets activated and vwf forms a bridge between two gp2b3a receptors on two platelets. This helps in aggregation ( along with fibrinogen)

No, he is not right. Gp IIb/IIIa is a receptor for fibrinogen. Gp Ib is a receptor for vWF.
