    Sounds like an old cement mixer my Dad had in the 1970's on start up

    It needs the dB killers in or a fuel controller. This video shows that for sure. It sounds gnarly though. 👍

    At 0.46s the front forks look bent? and at 0,52, follow the lower tube there is a kink on both legs!

    Looks a bit like the Harley XR750 Flat Tracker that they should've built for the road back in the 70's.

      Hello Mate. Did you get the fuel pak or any other fuel controller. I just had the same exhaust delivered to go on my 950 racer. Not sure if PC5/Fuelpak is necessary. Many thanks.

      @afrenchfrito  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not yet no, it barely backfires and that's only on hard decell, I'll get the PCV soon but not urgent for this setup

    • @afrenchfrito
      @afrenchfrito  6 ปีที่แล้ว

      TheLeevtr I've got a fuelpak, you'll need to solder in a wire to the TPS wire

    It definitely sounds rough when you start it up so you probably need a fuel controller and an air intake for it.

    Is that the exact same part number for the Yamaha bolt, I just called Vance & Hines and they don’t know, I’m trying to see if I can order that one for my SCR 950 without having to make any modifications for fitment

    • @afrenchfrito
      @afrenchfrito  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes it is the exact same.

      Revzilla, it's officially for a yamaha bolt but it goes right on. Any exhaust for a yamaha bolt will work. Happy shopping

    add film of it running by running through the gears. not sure how "it needs a fuel controller" can be established without an afr and dyno run. that being said, most bikes come to lean anyway and all would benefit with a little extra gas, esp down low. I test rode these at the rally and I would add one of these in a heartbeat. at around 5500 usd, they are a steal. thinking mans honda african twin

    how does the bike feel ? how is she on dirt roads? Nice looking bike!

    • @afrenchfrito
      @afrenchfrito  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      jbegren the bike feels great, the 950cc vtwin sounds and feels great and has a lot of low end power, really gives you the feeling the bike is alive when the entire bike shakes violently and your eardrums explode when you twist the throttle. It does about aswell offroad as you should expect. Hard packed even surfaces are fine, dont go trail riding. On a side note, if you ride two up with a lady friend she will appreciate how comfortable the passenger seat is

    Sounds good. Do you find the bike heavy once you get it up to speed ? I sat on one and it felt really top heavy was wondering what it's like in corners

    • @afrenchfrito
      @afrenchfrito  7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Hali Moto when it's moving it feels great. The seating position lets you throw your weight around nicely, does take some getting used to though it is not a light motorcycle

    Revs a little too slow for a 'scrambler'...
    BTW, I absolutely love the sound of that air-cooled engine...! If only it was a bit more revvy...

    • @afrenchfrito
      @afrenchfrito  7 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I agree, the fz07's twin would have been a much better platform for a real off road performer, especially with it's 270 firing order. yamaha could have copied the ducati scrambler and called it the SCR07 or something along those lines and made an instant hit. I got the bike because I love the yamaha bolt but wanted the bench seat. As a standard it's perfect
