Mine has a different packaging. I bought it last month from Amazon.
Edit: Now that I’ve completely watched the video; Great presentation by the way!

Thank you for all this detailed info. I just bought one and waiting for it to be delivered. My engine light came on tonight on my 2015 Cadillac CTS. SMH.

No problem at all. Hopefully it's something simple.

Thnx for this info. Do you know if this Tool can do anything on the AIR BAG. Like could it clear a flashing air bag lilght?

This was a _fairly comprehensive_ review. I took you through all of the features and functions this tool has. This is a $30 scan tool. You are expecting $3000 performance out of a $30 scan tool. A flashing airbag light means there is a problem with the system. Clearing the code won't help you, because it doesn't fix the problem. The light will come back, and probably immediately.

My 2012 Kia Sorento 4 cyl (93K mi) has been running after I turn it off for a few seconds. No one seems to know why or even heard of this. I bought one of these testers and at first it showed no codes. I drive with it on all the time. It did another 'keep running' stint about a month later, and the it had pending codes that read O2 sensor P0135 & ecm P0606. I cleared the codes and have been driving around for about a week with no codes. No one seems to know why (again) Do you have an idea? I am afraid to drive too far from my house.
    Thank you.

P0135 is the oxygen sensor heater circuit. There's a tiny heating element in the oxygen sensor. The oxygen sensor needs to be hot to work, so the heater heats it to temperature almost instantly. If the heater doesn't work, you'll get that code. The sensor will still work, but not until the engine has been running for a short time.
You'd better just hope you don't get the P0606, that's the Power Control Module, the car's computer. If these codes come back, it may not actually be the computer but rather wiring in the car.
As far as it running after you shut it off, I need more information. As soon as you turn the key off, does the dashboard go dead? How long does the engine run for when it happens? Does it run rough or shake during that period?
In the old days of cars with carburetors, that was called a run-on condition. But those cars had a mechanical fuel pump run off the engine so it would keep dumping fuel in it, a hot spot inside the engine would keep igniting the fuel. It is very rare, but not impossible, for a fuel-injected car to exhibit that problem. In the old days, we used to turn the headlights on and shut the car off while still in Drive. That put enough of a load on it that it couldn't keep running.

      @@jaykay18 Thx for detailed reply!
The 0135 & 0606 coded at the same time in pending. They have not returned since clearing. That's been about 1 week.
The run on is smooth and only last a few seconds, with key out of the ignition. Not sure if the dash is active, I'll look for that next time.
The car has recently started shocking me, if that makes a difference.

@@kim.in.nature. If the car is off when it shocks you, when you get out of it, I have definitely seen that before. Static electricity; should change when the humidity does. As far as the engine continuing to run, try shutting it in Drive with the headlights on, see if anything changes.

Fine, get one with US support. Call the 800 number, "Sorry, all representatives are busy now, please stay on hold and your call will be answered in the order it was received." THIRTY MINUTES LATER, you'll get someone who is simply there to not do their job, but rather to collect a paycheck, who will be of no help, and leave you with more questions than answers. This company WILL get back to you, but you have to bear in mind the time difference between the US and China, so typically interations will take 24 hours. But at least they'll do their job!
