- Iv done so many trips throughout the most remote corners of Australia and as you all know weight is a big issue for us adventurers. So my list of essentials is very refined and should be able to help alot of you with your Cape York trip prep or any big 4WD, Camping / Fishing trip for that matter. Im talking tools, camp gear, safety gear, storage, fishing gear, camp hacks etc etc, its all here.

Hello Nath, blimey we turned on for a quick 3 minute jobbie and it turned out a bedtime story 😚. Anyway first issue is the little hand fan/pump, my partner and trusty explorer has asked several times for one of those and you never got round to it!. Our kit as you could imagine is along the same lines as yours 😏. Everything to survive next doors garden!! Those roof top tents are worth looking into, our 30 second igloo tent balanced on a pallet is so uncomfortable, can't even dig a hole for your hip...We are doing a spin off not Trucks, Tinnies, & Trebles, but Scrap, Sinkables & Sod all !! Cheryl said don't forget the blower/fan as it is hot here today 19dec...now those patches wonder where I could stick one of those, hmmm! Take care "The Wild Screechers". Hello Mel👍
haha far from 3 minutes isnt it. If it wasnt so much fun catching you off guard each week Id change the name and If you didnt live so far across the pond I would personally deliver you a little pump. Maybe next time your neighbour has enough of you and you escape back over here to Aus.

What do people think about go pure pods to purify drinking water? I’ve just bought some. Leaving in a few weeks for Simpson and Madigan line. They seem like a good idea to out in a 10l container. If they don’t work I guess I’ll know about it!! Thoughts??
