Our initial account size will be $100 and we're gonna be risking 3% per trade with 1:1,5 RR. You can use this strategy when trading forex, stocks or crypto. I'm a big fan of tradingrush, and it is good to see that backtesting macd strategy gave the same result on other channel.
I like MACD strategies and have good results. Recently I moved down to the 1-minute timeframe and added the Williams %R indicator and man I really went to town on that.

I really like your content ! Not many poeple are doing testing strategies from other channels ! THANK YOU
The system does really work, its consistent and reliable. I've been using it for some time. The issue I take with this video is the following: you will not achieve a 60% success rate with the rules provided here. You'll be lucky if you get 50% even. There are a lot of additional rules, that need to be applied before you can open a trade. Trade Rush has a bunch of videos dedicated to improving this system, that will help you get to 60% and above. I strongly recommend anyone interested to check them out before even considering putting this to the test.
@Leyan Clasi check the videos by trading rush on the topic. Below is a list of those I can recall on the top of my head:
Multi time frame analysis to check for support and resistance areas(you don't want to short on the 5 min chart, where you are on support on the 1 hour, right?)
Check bigger time frame to see if price is trending(don't want to open trade on 5 min chart if 30 min chart price action is flat or choppy)
Don't open trades after huge candles- you already missed the move
Don't open trades if price is too far from the 200 ema- it's far more likely that price will go against the trade. Wait for a bigger pullback.
Pick trades where the price has bounced off of resistance/support + all the other conditions are met
Check where your price target is going to be and if it is beyond recent support/resistance, don't open the trade
.......That is plenty, would you agree? Without those, it's like trading in the dark, flipping a coin.

Backtesting this strategy in crypto. Works good also
main indicator : rsi 14 period ( for divergence)
confirmation indicator : macd 9/12/26
and kdj 9/3/3 note: macd and kdj and rsi must all match before you take the trade
timeframe used 1h 30min and for entry 15min timeframe daily win rate 100%

MA : 5 / 8 / 13 short term short long daily

Are you being consistent with amounts risked?
In the synopsis for this test, it says you are risking 3% per trade.
But other tests are 2% per trade.
The high percentage return reflects a higher risk profile.
This can be misleading as to the true efficiency of the system.

The histogram and crossover aren't two different indicators showing confluence. The histogram measures the separation between the macd line and signal line, so the crossover and the colored histogram are the exact same signal.

I reckon the spread should be considered. Of course the test is worthy once we need get an overview about the strategy to see if we have to spend time on it.
I know this strategy works on Forex. But, I think it doesn't work on BITCOIN (5mins), Can You please, retest this same strategy on BITCOIN (5 mins chart)

you should not backtest in this way
if you backtest you have to use the replay modus for more accurate results
some indicators like the fractels use 3 candle and this is not visible if you just go back in history !
None of the indicators in this strategy are delayed, so it’s fine for this particular test.
Manualy backtested 100 times on EUR/JPY 5 min with 200EMA of 15m. = 59 win rate

@@Tradeandgrowrich Yes, but it does not suit my personality. the reality is that You must trade it on 5m chart to have about 10 open positions by noon very day,, so the probability be on your side.
@@cevka1976 I'm planning to use it with my already set technical levels would need 1 scalp only a day I'll just use it for confirmation that's it I don't completely rely on indicator strategy ever
Trading without any indicator from a very long time but now I feel indicators can give you a little more scalping options on lower TF
@@Tradeandgrowrich Ok, put it to work, but what I noticed lately is that on one day it works like it should and next day just losses, overall still profitable but not my style, I would be happy to trade it from 1D chart but crossovers are so seldom .

it would be so much better if you backtest every strategy in at least 2 markets! like this is for gold and other for forex or crypto! i know effort will be higher but it will be even more solid! i ask because many like me cant have replay option backtesting..

What time frame it works best?
I got worse than 50% when I back tested this. Only tested it 50 times though. idk if I'm using it wrong or what
So using pinescript, I was able to thoroughly backtest this. I was often able to get at least a 55% winrate with some messing. a smidge over 60% being the best I got.
I was testing on forex and depending on the pair and timeframe, different settings were necessary. Default settings on the macd were usually pretty close. Sometimes I changed it from the default 12,26,9, just a little, like to 13,27,9. That could change the win rate by a few percent at least.
The other thing I noticed was that down on a 15 minute timeframe the 200 EMA is usually too long. Something more like 130 - 170 was more profitable, again, depending on the pair.
The last thing I noticed was that I can get better results *usually* by ensuring that price is not just currently above/below the ema when taking a trade, but also the last bar also closed above/below.

Please try and backtest my strategy
It uses the sar the 200 ema the rsi and the volume oscillator on the 5 min timeframe with heikin ashi candles
The sar and the ema are in a lot of strategies so i think you know how to use them
For the confirmation on long and short positions both the volume oscillator has to be above the 0 level
For longs the rsi should be above the 50 level and for shorting it should be below it
On long positions the green heikin ashi candle can not have a lower wick and for shorting it can't have an upper wick
The stop loss goes to the parabolic sar and the risk to reward ratio is 1.5
After the sar gave the signal you can wait a maximum of 3 candles for the other stuff to be in place

The strategy is a loosing one. It's a trend on youtube to make this videos to get views and to grow a channel in order to sell stuff. All the strategys presented on this channel or similar channels are breack eaven or loosing ones. I backtested many of theese strategys.
@Kannettan🤙 I have 2 that work but the profit is small and they are time consuming, i need to watch the charts all day. I don't have to much funds to invest, so with my 300$ i would make 50$/month : )) That i why i keep searching for something that can give some crazy profits.
