hello we are planning on taking our dogs to Canada. Please help understand the rabies certificate. Is my vets certificate good enough or do I need to get a special form . Does the certificate need to be dated within certain number of days of visiting Canada?
Question: dog does need to be in a crate or in their own sit to cross? Or can they be in your lap? Asking because we’re thinking of visiting Canada soon and I don’t want to be turned away 😢? TIA

I used to have a low rider basset hound Dizzy she would go in circles when upset and if a storm was coming. Enjoy your hoilday and welll needed rest. I f you need a doggy day care a friends daughter just open one up a few months ago in Calgary Ruff n tuff doggy day care

Yep! She’s doing amazing now! And yes, that was a big factor in us moving there!
I'm pretty sure it was a change in altitude that caused Dempsey to vomit. Dogs don't know time zones.
Lol nope, but their dinners and breakfasts are suddenly at weird times of the day and I think it throws them off a bit. Demps still begs for dinner at 4 pm here in Olympia 😂
Ohh, altitude never came to mind for why she may have been sick!

Not for going into the US by the land border at that time. We will have to present a negative test when we go back into Canada by land.

The one thing I know about dogs and travel is never give them food before the trip no matter what cause they gonna throw up and I have two dogs and learned that the hard way 🤪 Food is alowed afterwards ofcourse. And even if it's a long whole day trip the dogs gonna be ok
