Hi Pete, how are you? I saw your article about the Prius hybrid car's cold starting knock noise. I have a Lexus CT 200h hybrid car. Recently, I have been facing problems with my car. When my car starts in the morning, I hear a rattling sound coming from the engine for a few seconds. After that, it will be normal. Recently, I replaced the ignition coil and plugs. About EGR, I didn’t check; if there is a head gasket problem, I can see the notification that the engine temperature will increase right? Could you please suggest what can i do next . Well yeah anyone can do it. If the battery is charged enough and you are on a decline the car can go into EV mode.
