I would have put some wood glue inbwtween that leg and side piece. Also i cut my own corner brackets out of wood, drilled a hole for a bolt and used inserts into the leg to hold it.

I just have injured my foot triying to lay down my table io to fix corner. Its very painful but i think nothing is broken. Im using ice. Be careful pls.

Liked the video. I think the lag should have gone further in the leg. If you use two bolts on the end they tighten against each other and then you can use your socket wrench to screw Irvin further. But other than that the video is very informational.
