One striking thing is this Parsi community is basically from Faras the present day Iran. And a miniscule community contributed to the economic development of India. I do not know how many people in India know it the basic corporate responsibility example set by Tata's like establishing the city of Jamshedpur named after Jamshed Ji Tata one of the founding fathers of Tata steel, how this model was copied by then Government of India when they established the similar townships for employees neat its Industrial plants across India. This concept brought lot of economic development across the area of these townships.
Unfortunately the present governments in India starting from PM Narsimha Rao to Present government of PM Modi did not take forward this concept, otherwise we could have seen many more cities in India with lot of economic development may be.

They are more Persians than u think, I am second generation Iranian born in India, Most of my family also spoke Persian and Dari.
I don't speak either, Persian is taught in Parsi schools in India if one wants to learn along with other languages.
Parsis arrived in India about thousand years ago as refugees from Persia after Arab invasion.
Parsis dont take converts in their Zoroastrian religion, U have to be born n it. How many i wonder have pure Persian blood in iran now.? You should study about Parsis first, Most respected tiny community in the world,

Parsi word came from Paras( Faras ). When Persia was invaded by Islamic invaders in 7th century, majority converted to islam within 100 years but few fled the country to Bharat and settled in present day Gujarat.
