I had my genealogy at your Folks and they say we heave a same ancestor, Gilles Trottier who arrived in 1646 from France and their 5 children
I share a few of these ancestors with her!! 30 of my 9-11th great grandmothers are filles du roi
I knew we had a couple of Filles du Roy in common, what I didn't realise was our Demers connection, I have Two 2nd Grt Grammas (One on each side) and my Paternal Gramma who were all Demers! Which means she, like myself is a direct descendant of Jean Dumetz/Dumets/Demers & Jeanne Voidy
I share several Filles du Roi with her. As a child of the 1980s who still loves that decade, it's pretty cool I share ancestors with someone who was so prominent in pop music during that time.
Well, I guess this means, we are distant cousins

Starting with Jeanne Boucault 8th GGM(M), Claire de LaHogue 8th GGM (F), Marie Agnes Destouches 8th GGM (M), Catherine Ducharme 7th GGM (M), Marie Louise Fro 8th GGM (F), Marie Anne Michelle 8th GGM (F), Anne Roy 9th GGM (F). There are other connections like Zacharie Cloutier for one that Madonna has that I have also. Thank You!

It is said that Anegelina Jolie's grandma (Angélina Leduc) was from Sainte-Anne de la Pérade, Mauricie, Québec. There are a couple of newspaper articles about that. Leduc is a very common last name in the area.
Thank you for sharing! I did a little digging and you are right about the connection--it her great grandmother and she is from Sainte-Anne de la Perade. Beautiful place! I visited last summer. This would have been Angelina Jolie's mother's grandmother--and Angelina Leduc lived a very long life .She was 86 when she died in Illinois.
😳 omg Elisabeth De La Gueripiere is in fact my 8th Great Grandmother, and Catherine Du Charmé is my other 8th Great Grandmother. Also my ancestral surnames are as follows, Boyer, Brunet, Masse, and Roy. 😳 wow

I believe they are from the Normandy Region, your grandfather would probably descend from Jean Quenneville. The name is most likely Norman--and it can be found as De Quayneville in some places in Normandy (15th century)

The closest would be Louise FRO. One of her daughters married a nephew of one of my female ancestors; said otherwise a grand child of one of my ancestors, native from the departement of Vendée.
Under Anne Roy you have a daughter named Joseph-Francois Guimond. I cannot find any child of Anne Roy and Claude Guimond names Joseph-Francois Guimond. Where did you find source for this child? Cathy
It should be color coded blue and yes francois was their child. Page 507 of peter gagne book fille du roi followed by research at pdrh and tanguay at page 424 I think i mistakenly added joseph to name however joseph was a common baptismal name. I myself have mary as a baptismal name :)
You have Francoise Moisan listed as a Filles du Roi but I cant find the chapter about her. You also have a chapter on Marie-Claire de La Hogue but I dont see her on the larger list
Francoise is at 21 minutes 54 seconds into video. You are 100 percent correct about marie claire not being on list sorry about that
For Fille du Roi Jeanne Boucault you show Rose Alice Coulombe's father as Jean-Baptiste. All the sources I have show her father as Laurent Coulombe and her mother as Marguerite Guay.

Did you leave out a set of parents on here? I have Williard William Fortin's parents as Narcisse Fortin and Rose Lajoie. Narcisse Fortin parents as Narcisse Fortin married to Felecite Rioux and then his father is Augustin-Magloire Fortin
