First i'm glad you're feeling better. Second this makes a lot of sense for the upper ecchelons of play. This also is why the GM book needs some guidance on how to determine damage from dice vs static damage. The more people understand the math of the game the better the game will be for all I say. the problem i see with the low number of damage dice is how it interacts with monster armor ... medium armor would always negate a massive 30 damage and heavy armor would reduce both the massive 30 and also half of 3d6 ...
