You're going to hear them again in Sonic Origins because there were licensing issues with a couple of songs in the original Genesis release of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, so Sega has decided to re-release the game with new ones.
@@JamesBlood45 And i’m cool with it. As long as Launch Base Act 1 and Ice Cap are more polished then we’re chillin. I like Buxer’s Carnival Night but those original tracks are smooth as butter and I’m glad to see them return
I'm so glad the Sonic 3 Complete group took EVERYTHING into account when making this. I had so much fun running through a normally rather annoying Carnival Night Zone with a nostalgia-spawned grin across my face.
Song: Carnival Night Act 2 Composer: Jun Senoue* Arrangers: Masayuki Nagao & ValleyBell *Nagao likely arranged the original due to similar instruments being used in Hydrocity Act 2 which he also arranged. It’s unknown who composed this, however it does share some similarities to Senoue’s work.
Because the vocals and percussion would be impossible to recreate on OPL cards such as the Soundblaster and Adlib. (No, I don't care what your great aunt's neighbor told you, it has nothing to do with copyright or MIDI)
So surreal knowing that we now have OFFICIAL Genesis versions of these tunes.
Sonic Month on Hidden Palace has been an absolute treat.

@@GardevoirBoy We don’t know for certain though.

@@Nattegoya agree. Though I prefer the final tracks, the prototype ones just need a few more polish to feel great

It's a weird feeling knowing that the Original time of the Stage is this one

Me too! This versión is so much more upbeat and happy, rather than that creepy circus music from the genesis...
I actually like the Genesis version better because of how funny it sounds. xDD But this version is also very nice! ^^
SuperChaosControl Wow this music
Act 1 was ok.
Act 2 sounded like a ghost town.
but the proto genesis is still better
@@garsrandom4358ok but you talking about sonic 3 beta?
Cool tune. Damn you, stupid barrel. Damn you...
0:22 they got it right unlike origins
Looks like I've found my new ringtone.
Is better then origins bgm
Lego Dimensions made a FIFTH track for this.
Now it sounds more like Sonic Adventure 7's intro theme.
Bootleg GBC
0:38 I kinda like this part better than the actual prototype tho
The original is better to me but this is amazing
This is the "original composition"
:P
Moh B this is actually a fan made genesis remix of the pc versions compositions
@@satyamSaha yeah I know, the composition is more or less the same as the Sonic 3 Proto/Sonic & Knuckles Collection track
The predeccesor to the original Sonic 3 1993 prototype and official 94' game. Great
I legit didn’t even notice it was different than the actual ver
I think ValleyBell wanted the tracks to be as close to the original as possible so they didn't take many liberties with the instrumentation
This fels like the origins version and the original combined
this actually doesn't sound half bad ngl
oh is like marble garden now uau
Wait? Sonic 3 Complete had the kind of music from Sonic and Knuckles PC ported to this?
why this and the act 1 music has been replaced?
These are the musics from the PC version of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, released in 1997
