Both are real. The white ones are just older which is why they were so cheap. Converse used to have the registered trademark ® but they stopped adding them so they could sell in more places. Most new converse should not have the registered trademark

My old chucks lasted for years and even when half of the sole was worn off, the black line was stil intact and the logo on the back only faded a little bit. Also, the black line was actually a real black strip, glued to the white rubber of the sole. On my new Converse shoes however, the black line and logo just wore off very quickly, and I noticed the black line is painted onto the white rubber, not glued on. In the video, you will notice that difference too if you watch closely: the white shoes have the solid black strip I was talking about, the black ones only have a black line painted on. You can actually see a white border... I'm really disappointed about that, as the price of a pair of converse almost doubled in a few year's time (at least in my country)...
After 6 years of this reply i can genuinely say it’s true the ones made in the 2008 and later is still very durable the materials are rock solid.. maybe because raw material and nature tends to change

I'm a converse shoes lover for many years, I bought this shoes all are all the time, the most are on sale, size 8 same are size 7.5 . I have more than 145 pairs chuck Taylor hi top only different colors, (are leather, fabric & sude) few (3 o 4) is x hi and 1 is xx hi, I wearing them all day long I change them with different colors 2 times a day.
yeah in australia a pair of high top converse like those in the vid would set you back at least $80 - $90 but thats a change from a couple of years ago where they use to sell for $100 - $110 but now due to the huge swing towards online shopping retailers have had to lower there prices to stay competitive with online retailers.

If they were made after 2008 or 2009,they're fake because Converse stopped using trademarks on their shoes at 2008/2009 if they were made before those years and have a trademark, then they're real!
