My tip for not losing control around corners is NO traction control, ease of accelerator before turning but apply a little throttle to stop you losing control coming out of the turn. I was struggling like mad at 1st.
Scott ...as a former bike racer it looks to me like there are 2 things going wrong with your gaming/riding..... 1). It looks like you might be using auto shifting..try going manual as it looks like the game is downshifting one or more too many gears. 2). It also looks like your throttle is either fully on or fully off..you need to be more easy and linear on the throttle (going to manual shifting will help this too). And then lastly of course look as far down the course as possible...but you knew that already :-)
I play this game with keyboard only, not sure if the same applies to a gamepad, but there is no such thing as throttle control with the keyboard. And that's the biggest issue, and the same applies for braking. You can't modulate either one, so it makes it very unrealistic because you're either full throttle or off, and same thing for braking. You basically cant do any constant braking while turning, and that's the same with throttle, you can't come out of a corner and apply smooth consistent throttle because there it's either on or off. Super frustrating, but also very challenging and rewarding if you can succeed despite this.
@@kw1213 it's okay to blink on keys with a keyboard. if anyone interested will ever seek for additional keyboard blinking power - go for Mario Kart 200cc and fighting games [for keyboard skill it's Smash Bros first of all]
when you are in first gear the bike engine's compression can cause the back wheel to 'lock up'.... don't just twist the tap on or off, sometimes a trickle will save you too much throttle while still heavily leaning out of a corner and your back wheel will break loose, you either lower your throttle or counter steer and push through it you also look very jerky through the corners, try to be more smooth

Loving this series so far, I noticed that one of your accidents was because of the game downshifting at the wrong point which locked the back wheel. You could fix this if you played manual maybe. Been watching your videos for years keep up the good work ;)
First scott if you are using elite controller use long triggers and dont open up the throttle so abrupt when leant over.try and be more progressive with throttle and brake.it sounds like you are blipping the throttle on and of around the corners to abrupt. You need to be smooth. Hope this helps good luck
Brake whilst the bike is upright, try not to brake leant over, don't brake mid corner and squeeze the throttle, don't slam it on. Just a few ideas for you having played the game.
Im living the game at the moment, but there are a few things I find odd... I had a moment earlier where I felt the back end coming slipping and I should have lost it but didn't, and there's other moments when I'm going 180+ on the striaght and the bike just disappears for no apparent reason 🤣 definely feel rewarded after winning the TT, and keeps me playing
Actually applying throttle slowly and steadily actually makes the bike steady due to the force it exerts go look it up if you slow too much the bike will lowside and fall over
Gradually increase the throttle out of the corners instead of going full on cis then your less tempted to spin the back whelk and you can accelerate sooner
I have noticed that your turning feels a little choppy. Like the same feeling, you would get if you played on a keyboard where you would either press the button or not. So I thought maybe you could try this out. Try pushing the analog stick all the way to the top and then roll it along the edge so that the stick is always touching the edge. This method give you more distance to move the analog and it gives you the ability to keep the analog stick right where you want it so you can keep exactly the same amount of turning. It gives you way more control. Maybe you are already doing it but it doesn't look like it when you are turning. Just thought that the choppy turns might be the reason why you are crashing in the turns
You need to realize the bikes oversteers you don't have to do that much for them to turn in so just go easy on the turn in also getting on the accelerator amplifies the matter. I believe Hondas are naturally some of the best braking and handling bikes. I'd say trust your bikes capabilities and predict her next move, see you in the next one
You keep locking your rear tyre and high siding - motorcycles that race don’t have ABS like most cars do in motorsports, so even touching a rear brake just slightly too much will cause you to lockup and slide out
The two things that are annoying in the neutral in the gearbox why didnt they do it like ride2. And the other one is the ghost rider which dosnt have an option to remove it.
Hahaha Scott how many pairs have you got .....lol they must be huge with the amount of kicks...lol haven’t purchased it yet...thinking about it ... looks well challenging as your finding out and getting mad about... I think I would get annoyed with this game, I’m bad enough playing project cars 2 and spinning off in the last lap... maybe just need to slow down a little more when turning and not giving the welly to quick. P.s. I’m not a biker so just putting my pennies worth in
This mode is knackered. The event rating (A, B, C, etc) relate to the difficulty rather than the difficulty you chose in the options. Now I have enough fans, I'm being murdered on 'Easy' difficulty.

I think the times get really weird after you skip ahead, they don't seem to match up with where the bikes were on track at all.

Starfire Storm you hardly do 250-260kph on public roads so... real life regular riding is easier
Well, yeah, you almost never do that, but I have rode my bike quite fast on a track that's not that smooth and I find it easier than this game
