@@Retroloft556 As far as I know, throws like that takes a lot of command inputs. Tried it on Tekken 5 before and BOY those are lots of inputs. And you had to do it during the throws, otherwise it's not valid.

I will agree with him on that, it does feel like these recent games are made so that people who've never played a series before are able to contend with legacy players, and without a lot of the need for practice too. Simpler controls that are allowed in ranked matches, character difficulties, high damage for fewer moves performed. But I guess that's how games are marketed now, they want to recieve as much money as possible, which wouldnt be bad, if it didnt feel like legacy players were getting stiffed a lot of the time, and if these companies didnt already charge an arm and a leg for the games and content anyways.
Totally agree with this sentiment, especially with how much companies charge for content such as costumes nowadays, it's outrageous. Only sucks that people like Dale are constantly saying this, they make it look like an excuse rather than an actual legitimate issue.

You should know that consecutive throws like that take a lot of button presses, and it's HARD to memorize. Whoever played as King knows their stuff.

@eltenedor707 Yeah he can mix his grab up with either different inputs or different followups, and you have to hold the one you think he's gonna do. If he hits you with his arm breaker, he can either do triple arm breaker (break by holding 1) Head jammer (break by holding 2) or chicken wing face lock (break by holding 1+2)
So it's a 3 way mixup if he does the arm breaker grab. There are usually multiple layers to it too, if he lands chicken wing face lock followup he can then do another follow up, either dragon sleeper finish (break by holding 1) or rolling death cradle (break by holding 2 Note: DO NOT LET HIM LAND THIS FOR THE LOVE OF GOD)
And that's in addition to the initial arm breaker grab being broken by tapping 1.
So in the worst case scenario (rolling death cradle), you had to fail the initial 1 break of the first grab, fail to guess the 1+2 follow up, and then fail to guess the 2 follow up. So you're given multiple chances to escape, and incorrect guesses (or doing nothing like ltg) give more and more damage over time

What's crazy is just how much like Tekken 7 Tekken 8 is. I've been playing Tekken since the 90's and I picked up Raven in T8 solely from my Master Raven T7 knowledge. I had NEVER played Raven previously.
