I feel the same way. Gd used pastor Morris for us and that was God's plan. But we think we can judge and condemn other sinners as if we were perfect, as if we deserve to be saved. We forget we are not deserving of anything God does or did for us. We are saved by grace and grace alone. The rest is self righteousness, judging, acting like pharisees, creating hate and division, which God condemns, as that is the work of the devil.
The devil used the current situation to create chaos in the church and to divide its people. Who is perfect in this world? Let’s pray for Pastor Morris, his family and for the victim that they will be able to forgive like how God forgave us all, and move on with God’s grace.

I am crying now for many reasons because of the message God gave Lisa to be frank and honest. It is not the time now to be diplomatic, it is time to know who God is and why we go to church. This message can be shown next weekend again at the Gateway churches and on TV. The world needs to hear, because it is not only about the Church, but the Olympics, the politics, social media and more. Let me be frank: "Those who stay away from Gateway church now, must repent and go back to serve God and not the pastor! " Cry and give everything to God as was the message. Maybe all people who visit megachurches must rethink the reasons why they attend it and make sure they honor God and not the pastor or music.

I'm in no way diminishing what the lady experienced, and I am sorry she had to experience what she experienced. I also cannot deny the impact Pastor Robert's books and his teaching of the Bible and God's word has had on my life. I still love him, and I still love Gateway Church. The fact that the church is still going, even after all this, is a testament of God's power and the foundation Pastor Robert laid. Other churches would have crumbled. This was a beautiful service. It lead me to a healing I didn’t know I needed. I’m from Ohio, I’ve been a Sunday morning online watcher for years and I’ve grown so much as a believer thanks to Gateway and Pastor Morris When the announcement was made a month ago, like Lisa said, it was a punch in my gut! I never properly grieved. I feel I did today. Even though my heart is still broken I know Gods plans are good. Thank you Lisa for allowing God to speak through you to heal me.
We live in Charleston, WV and we watch Gateway Church from time to time. We miss Pastor Morris and his family very much. The elders in Gateway are making suspicious moves while asking for grace as the investigation is ongoing. They ask for believers to extend Grace when they can't give any to Pastor Robert for a sin committed decades ago? Why would they make permanent decisions making people believing that their plan was to kick out the entire Morris family out of the church? There shouldn’t be any questions about why she was there. She was probably there for their women night. Also, Gateway very often has other guest preach, which I would assume have been schedule well in advance due to their schedules. Lastly, Max Lucado and Joakim have their own church and ministry, it’s understandable that they can’t just drop everything and be present 24/7. I’m sure they don’t live near by. It’s a blessing to be able to have the support from many believers, and pastors lifting the church (the body of Christ)

There shouldn’t be any questions about why she was there. She was probably there for their women night. Also, Gateway very often has other guest preach, which I would assume have been schedule well in advance due to their schedules. Lastly, Max Lucado and Joakim have their own church and ministry, it’s understandable that they can’t just drop everything and be present 24/7. I’m sure they don’t live near by. It’s a blessing to be able to have the support from many believers, and pastors lifting the church (the body of Christ)
