    Caucasus is where the second dance originates from, and Lezgin is the name of this Caucasian dance. There are over 33 different dances from the Circassian type of dances. It is a very different culture from Turkey. I saw them perform live. Wish they'd announce clearly what are the dance's names and where they come from!

    Highly entertaining! But I still find that the real magic of this dancing comes when it is done in its original form. These dance shows make everything look like Irish Tap Dancing, and think they need scantily dressed femaled to pull it off. Still, quite a nice video. I remember watching this on TV.

    from 4:24 is ABSOLUTELY GEORGIAN! the dance scenes till this are mixed and derived from LAZ/GEORGIAN, GREEK, IRISH, etc. motives! and I see someones are calling this mix as an ANATOLIAN, to say simply - TURKISH and spectators from Bratislava, Beijing, Lodz or Canberra may believe in this! please, CALL FOR EVERYTHING ITS OWN NAME!

    It looks like Fire of Anatolia Dance Comp. First part from BlackSea region. Greek,Laz, Turkish I don't know. Second part can be seen in any dance group from Kavkaz. Music is influenced from Georgia for sure. But dance belongs to entire Kavkaz up until 6:43 The music there is from Khoromi, Georgian dance. Just for the record. Nobody trying to stela anything read the top Kavkaz Dance. Dancers could be from kavkaz too just like Sukhushvili havind Abhaz,Chechen dancers. Perfectly normal
    Cheers

    I don't understand what are you talking about, Laz people are and were Georgians. I'm Georgian myself, dance from 4:45 is pure Georgian (as part of Kavkaz). living in Turky dosn't make you turk, Laz people have always been Georgian. unfortunatlly right now our historic land (tao-klarjeti) is part of Turkey, and Lazeti too. as for the dance group, its called "Lazika" all of the dancers are Georgians from Georgia, they were invited to the concert. I even know several of them personally.

    I agree Hamshin came there much later than Laz. But this dance is not from the times of Colchis. It has very Armenian /Anatolian feel to it, not so much Georgian if you ask me. Georgian dance is a lot of solo and everything goes from pose to pose. Transformation and pose, transformation and pose. Armenians and Pontic and other Anatolian dances are much more group dances with specific movements like moving with shoulders etc... search for HEMŞİN HORONU you will understand.

    @remokausaI am not sure it matters but you are wrong on this one. Solo starts from 4:23 on dancers are from Georgia. music is also Georgian. I am an Abhazian, I know a Georgian when i see one :-)) I am not saying in negative way. We have 2000 years of common history with them. Every Abhaz family in Turkey have a Georgian relative by marriage...
    I agree, Ansambel is great though.

    fair enough, can you direct me to more info? How did you came to this conclusion? And is it really possible to say anything about those ages when the word Georgian wasn't even on anyones minds? If you are talking about Colkhians, then it's also debatable whether they even are forbearers of Georgians or rather the Circasians like Abkhaz people. Also are we talking here about linguistic "evidence" or genetic links? Huge differences can be found in both.

    you might understand my skepticism if you realize that until the very day almost all surrounding nations have claimed ancestry to the Sumerians at some point. I think its really farfetched and maybe too long ago to connect any of the modern nations. Simply cause so many things have changed and so many factors are at stake here. Genetic and linguistic mixtures aside who can really claim Sumer when people back then had a very different understanding of nations and nationalism?

    do you know how many big firms Ceo are Laz?do you know how many lazs serve the turkish Army now? do you know how many singers, artists are Laz? they are not living only in black sea. they are living every city of turkey. ı said before and repeat once more: THEY ARE PART OF OUR COLORED CULTURE!! You have no right to judge it! You are nothing!!

  • @PeopleOfAr
    @PeopleOfAr 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    this is totaly not turkish dance. First dance is Hamshen Armenian dance but turks make it look stupid. the second is Georgian with duduk on the background. Nothing turkish here.

    • @igori2439
      @igori2439 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      You're right, neighbour and first one is also laz/greek pontic (for sonorities), thank you for that cause all Armenians are not supporting us and our culture in return and we helped them a lot of times...

  • @harmonim1976
    @harmonim1976 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    ı thought that you talked about kavkas but your objection is from black sea?ı dont belive it..there is no Georgians in turkey?? you mean lazs? they dont call themselves georgians. they are citizens of turkey. and also they can marry with turks and live with us peacefuly more than 600 years.

  • @harmonim1976
    @harmonim1976 12 ปีที่แล้ว

    you really think that turkey is from africa?? the turks ruled the kavkas in history and the neighbor of the georgia now so this is very normal that they share the dances too. and the dance groups name is fire of anatolia (they represent the anatolia 4000 years culture) not fire of turkey?? they dont copy anything..

  • @Horaypa
    @Horaypa 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    @AmraAbkhazia As Circassian (Abhazian father Adigha mother) I am no export but know my history and culture. Music is Georgian style as an Abhaz I ve no problem saying it. Horon is very difficult to determine. It could be Georgian but Horomi looks nothing like this or it could be Greek (Pontus) I couldn't tell you for sure. Armenian ? it is a bad joke if you ask me !!! There is nothing Armenian here NOTHING.

  • @0colaturka0
    @0colaturka0 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    That's a pity, because the only connection the Sumerians have with modern people are their language with Hungarian and Turkish, which are both Altaic languages. Sorry to disappoint you. Georgia has many enemies? You don't know what it is to be a Turk =)

    I know you can't because there was no such dance before Hamshen arrived. All i am saying is it's our common heritage. But if you don't want go ahead and be stubborn Georgian with your fantasies about Sumerians lol.

  • @Mastergruzin
    @Mastergruzin 16 ปีที่แล้ว

    The second dance is pure georgian. not armenian not circassian!!!

  • @PeopleOfAr
    @PeopleOfAr 14 ปีที่แล้ว

    Sumerians dont exist today but they are forefathers to the Babylonians so are then Babylonians also related to Georgians? And therefore Iraqis are Georgians? Lol You see how ridiculous this is?! It is simply too long ago to connect a group of people who called themselves Sumerians to a modern nation of Georgians who themselves are formed by many autochthonous and allochthonous tribes.

  • @kavkazianpower

    this is not a circassian dance ! .. its armenian dance listen to the music its armenian . circassian does not have such as a music circassian culture is more better than this dont insult ur circassian culture .. but the second dance maybe its circassian .. this dance is not even caucasian dance its like arabians thats what armenians do ! good bless kavkaz
