    Has some of the most expensive camera gear in the world and the microphone I had in 7th grade.

    Currently using the H4D60 and you guys are spot on. The colors and richness of the files that Hasselblad delivers are on another level.

    Tyler how do you rate the CMOS sensor of the H6D compared with the CCD sensor on the H4D?
    And 50 mp v 100mp
    Thanks

    The bottom line is if you making money from your images you need the best tools. Also you can create those rich colors in post with a little extra effort.

    Everyone cannot afford a new Hasselblad, but if you are willing to purchase used, you can find them on Ebay. They will not be the 100MP but it will start you in their ego system. Once you purchase it you are captivated by the camera and just want to shoot better work.
    As a side note, I purchased a H4D-50MP and H5D--40MP and I take the H5 with me every where. Just looking to shoot better projects now.

    Are there any comments about the 100 MP Sensor? Is it stitched like the Red Monstro or the Alexa 65? If it is a stitched sensor, are there any issues with the stitch show in images?

    I have this now and it is beyond breathtaking - nothing on the internet can prepare you for the mind bending images you will see for yourself - both on the display and your hi end screen and then when you get them printed out beyond A2 - but whilst here I couldn't help but notice the audio mix was very unbalanced - and listening through headphones was an odd way to experience this video about one of the most HD cameras out there!! Lastly you were right - it is the closest thing to film I have seen providing that the film you have seen is 645 - I predominantly used RZ 6x7 - it's not near that - but I don't care because I always hated using film in the first place - I also use the back on a Linhof 679 and whilst it is not close to 6x9 side by side - if you stitch then it is - I also have the 1.5HTS tilty shifty thing and whilst it is a bit fiddly stitching with this surpasses even 6x7. Also lastly I used to have the tilty shifty thing and SB lenses on the RZ - digital Hass makes the whole thing far more user friendly especially when shooting portraits/fashion on location - all good here. Orange Dot lenses? Probably worth it if money was no object - but I have no kidneys left, need at least one of my lungs and cherish both my eyes - well maybe I could sell one....

    Crop in camera - avail in most any camera, though the additional ratios are helpful.
    Color and MP - also good/well known.
    H6D-490c Shifting sensor multi-shot mode = probably the best new feature for up to 400MP.

    Really good video full of interesting content but lots of brilliant photographers both past and present do or did just fine without medium format or the mega hasselblad.
    Ernst haas used a leica for most of his career for example.

    Agree! Even old H3D or H4D has unbeatable quality for very little money. No other camera can do the same, even PhaseOne!

    Nice video, but please use better audio mic next time... sounded like camera built-in mic noise and low volume.

    My perspective on the hassle, I do have the 503 but the digital it’s good but you should try the phaseone I like it better.

    I agree with everything that y'all said. It's just a different ball game that you have to experience (MFD) to appreciate it. I don't shoot enough paid work right now, but boy do I miss it. Hoping to at least get a used X1D by next year. The 100 is way out of my league.

    Such a great tool! Btw: the TH-cam algorithm sucks so hard... your last video’s, only +/- 800 views... and I missed out on your TH-cam premium film. Such a shame.

    Shame the phocus and phocus mobile don’t show the mask in real time like other systems. And they don’t make the film back anymore

    How big are the files? (JPEG and RAW)

    • @nelsonclub7722
      @nelsonclub7722 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Raw files are not difficult to work with around 214mb's. Depending on what you post out they can be quite small - I often just use J-Peg as the original file for my web clients - as they can have those almost instantly

    If the IQ generated makes a qualitative difference to the work and sales increase proportionately and "bob's" customer's budget includes a hundred MP sensor and H glass then "bob" should absolutely have this kit to choose from.
    Usage matters a great deal and no less so than the how the images will be viewed. Similar to having f1.2 lenses when the content demands f4 DOF. The critical improvements are often irrelevant when you close down two or three stops.

    Not renting a camera that large. If you can't get what you want on a 20mp, you won't be good at a 100mp camera. I would even say the artists here would still be great photographers with a pinhole camera.

    I'm a professional landscape photographer. My instagram is @followmetofloripa. Hasselblad's cameras are amateur cameras for a landscape photographer. I would never be able to take some of my photos, inside a role in a rock, on an abyss, for example, or with ocean waves hitting me on the chest while shooting, if I was using a hasselblad. It's just amateur. Sorry. Believe me, 80% of the photos I take, are on those conditions.

    • @simons_pics

      And might I ask what camera gear and lenses you are using ?

    • @followmeto2512
      @followmeto2512 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@simons_pics Any camera that has water resistance, manual mode and is ergonomic with great battery life that resists cold weather and the body is strong enough to be able to take some punches. Although it's pretty simple, that brand is useless. (of course they have manual mode, but it's just a small feature to be considered professional by a landscape photographer)

      Interesting, kind of makes me wonder how the Hasselblad would handle dusty conditions; I shoot 4x4s and off-road races in the desert. It seems like a phenomenal camera but would be overkill for my situation.

    In the end, If you are making money off photography, WHY NOT INVEST IN THE BEST? Its like having a construction business and loading your Honda Civic with your tools. Sure, it will work. BUT A WORK TRUCK IS BETTER!
