PA: Best we can do is trick you into fake humanoid mist shapes when you're still dealing the damage.
His movement is actually really fast. You just need to properly link skills, cancel some animations and move your camera a bit. Sure it’s not hold rmb and dash into infinity but I actually love classes that need to do a lot in order to move.
IDK. I feel like the draw to the new release of any class is the being 'broken' initially. That's just me. Still plan on making Dosa when BDO come back up from maintenance.
I think similarly. Might not be healthy for the game, but I think releasing "broken" or OP characters gets people more excited than a cautious release. At least we know he will get some buffs early on.
Ofc its a marketing scheme, appeal to the players by having it overturned once they commit to it, nerf it to the ground so they can only make 3 mill/hour 😂😂😂
Most of the "Being broken" comes from people not knowing how to fight a new class. If you've been playing any significant amount of time, you're use to fighting most of the classes. You can somewhat deal with them. You can't do that for new classes.

you are delusional if you think he is broken lol, he got buffed for barely 7% and it was needed, his highest dps skill had the same dps as witch mma on cooldown. Quit being delusional

Dosa can be easy or flashy depending on how you play him I think that’s a cool thing to have. The longer time people spend with him the more they’ll understand this ☺️

That moment when someone doesn't realise that Pearl Abyss makes all of their new BDO classes broken upon release so everyone plays them, and then nerfs them back to normal months later.

Gicen the awk prime skills in succ, looks like he'll be more summon oriented in awk ? Plus the datamined horse summon skill.
A dual wield swords like a counterpart to lahn, or a 2h trident/halberd (the chinese halberd) would fit him quite nicely for awakening.

you can tag but you cannot tag awakening weapon. pocketwatch (temp weapon) provided has the same stats as pen bs (ap, monster ap) but still need to add a karanda or garmoth heart

If it was Ascension he would come with a kit similiar to Scholar and already have Main/Awakening skills on release. In otherwords, he should get an Awakening in the future

Not knowing any of his lore there are only a few weapons we're missing out on between all the classes. Spear, dual wielding swords(ninja kinda does it but not all the time), gunslinger, straight minions only like witch doctor from D3. He didn't actually hit the mobs I think it was always something he summoned that despawned. I think. I could be wrong. Regardless it's a really cool looking class. The mist, the sword carry, the fit, the inf combo, the summons, animations, fire PA. Well done.
SN: The skill that causes the summon to come out and attack and killed a weasel off screen was awesome.
Duel swords is literally Ninja, Awk Ranger.
There's so many polearm weapons already. Musa, Maewha, Sage, and Drak.
Gunslinger will be a whole other class.
Summons only is literally never going to happen. They're already one of the most broken things in the game. Tamers can CC, Corsair is dumb too. The only reason Strikers can do the damage they do while building mostly defense is because if their clones. Turn that into a whole class? Nty. Keep that shit in Diablo.

@666222333111 shit. Maybe another year before Gunslinger. Dosa was teased like years ago. Before Drak and Meagu and Woosa so after Scholar dropped, it had to be him. Gunslinger probably be next. If not, it'll be another surprise class like Scholar then him. I'm thinking a year from now.

I'm really hoping he gets more smoke skills with awakening like a follow through because that's a unique theme we haven't seen much of in other games(and we still barely got anything with that as a hard theme, it's more of an add on to his existing sword skills with no real personal animations outside of some clouds and summons that could pass for any other generic body summon in game) but I'm kind of more realistically expecting some kind of sword class awakening again because BDO seems less interested in creating new and unique concepts(or fixing the ones they have made to work better) and more interested in trying to reinvent the wheel again. Especially as a male class, BDO will probably lean into the masculinity of "long hard manly" sword...because the men actually in KR seem to have very fragile masculinity.

All PA's recently released classes had bad awakenings. I doubt Dosa will be any different.
I'm saying that as a Woosa Awakening main who believes she's underrated. But player sentiment overall is Meagu/Woosa/Scholar awakening/ascension is bad, and PA isn't doing much to fix it.
I have issues with the class because it's so slow compared to ninja but I do still like it
6:57 Well, given the fact that he has a pipe, I envisioned some of the old school Kung Fu movies that I used to watch all the time where the beggars organization used to do old school martial arts with punching and kicking, but they'd also be using either a piece of bamboo to fight with or a metal pipe to block punch kick blow smoke in their face, maybe hot ash or something. That's what I thought the Woosa class was going to be like punching and kicking martial arts with occasional fan strikes. But that was disappointing. And I've basically shelved my woosa. I really don't like it anymore. I'm hoping Awakening will have that old school martial arts with punching a kicking either bamboo or pipe strikes for maybe half the moves and I think that would be really great to compliment the class if they did that. I don't know if anyone would agree but I think it's time. We saw something like that like your videos. And thank you for your information as always

He feels smooth and I really like his effects. Just needs a few tweaks. My Maegu is better, but I will main him till his Awakening.

I think his awakening weapon should be a hidden blade umbrella like setsuka from soul calibur, it would totally fit his theme

I think his awakening will be a staff similar to Wukong. Wukong might be his ancestor.

And why Wukong? Dosa means taoist priest/monk. Wukong is a deity in Taoism. Red sun in Dosa's artworks. Luminous spells: BD Mobile Wukong class is called Lumine. Cloud theme obvious reasons. End of Dosa's trailer the guard calls him: Seonwoo Kyung. Spell that out loud.

The class is really weak. Pulling mediocre trash numbers. Mobility is not impressive.
This is why new classes are so bad for bdo. All the developers time wasted. All the development time could of gone to other things bdo really needs to work on.
It is a terrible spot for PA. Class is strong? Of course to sell weight and inventory. Class is weak? Do season reward and never play again.
And all because it brings players back to bdo, increasing player numbers, which look good to stock holders. Which is why it never stops, new classes will always come, they have to.
Worse than Maegu? So he must be terrible. Maegu is not a top tier grinder anymore on most spots.
She is not a top tier grinder only on high-end spots. She is the beast during early and mid game

His aoes are bad. His movement is kinda awkward and the block jumps are super short, paired with the awkward camera change everytime he block jumps (which will be alot) the class is big mid rn for me.
