@@crumplezone1 have been thinking about that but at the moment it fires up really well. The starting issue was not ignition related so electronic ignition wouldn’t have solved that
@@thtmotoring I agree but as my Allegro was my main car in the 80s I just got sick of changing points so electronic ignition was quite new in the 80s and it was the best thing I did and I never ever touched the Dizzy again until it went to the great Rust grave yard in the sky, still miss her :(
Where do you live, I recognise Bunny and the road to Plumtree, I guess somewhere near Compton Acres. I use to have an Allegro, one of the first when I lived on Silverdale, reg number NTO ***M and thought it was brilliant.
Awesome job, I will recommend that you put electronic ignition upgrade on that beauty and you will never have starting problems :)
