Being a doctor i feel obligated to clear this misconception: 1. A male can have high levels of estrogen and low levels of testosterone and live a happy life as a man. It has nothing to do with your identity and neither does these hormones force you to think or act like a female. 2. Similarly, a female can have high testosterone levels and low estrogen levels. High testosterone in females can lead to PCOS which most of you are familiar with. Again it doesn't force you to think/behave like a male. 3. Gender dysphoria is a mental health illness, it is completely treatable. Its just a fitnah in your brain which a good psychiatrist can treat through pyschotherapy. Kindly stop making bullshit stories Shyraa if you cannot justify your identity. There is no place for this in Islam, we all need to understand this.
I listened to the whole podcast carefully before giving any opinion so even if the whole comment box is supporting this, I cannot because Allah made everybody perfect and we are not allowed to judge it or change it the way we want that's why plastic surgeries or even plucking the eyebrows is haram so this is a huge thing. We cannot change our gender because we were uncomfortable with it, we are made by Him and we have to return to Him. I always stand with the truth so that's my opinion. To behave a certain way and to be inclined towards the girly stuff doesn't make you less of a man. I've grown up with cousin brothers mostly and I love playing cricket , talking about cars , bikes and yes I love dressing up casually but that doesn't make me less of a female. It's just the influence of my environment, growing up without a sister I got less of the chances to play girly games and that's why I've very less inclination towards girlish stuff but I'm a complete women and alhamdulillah love how almighty has created me. I am your constant viewer of podcast shahveer but this podcast i would definitely skip. Because there is NO absolutely NO justification for changing your gender until you are like this by birth. Your audience also has kids and the youth is already being very influenced by these things and im sure you didn't give any message to people that its wrong. The EDUCATED people who really wants to know about this topic then watch youth club they bring WORLD educators on panel and talk about this. OR for education purposes you could have brought them( youth club) on the podcast if you wanted it on your platform. So for anyone that is muslim watching this, know that Allah has created each one of use differently. There are many temptations around us and for some the test may be that they are attracted to being the opposite gender. People are not sinful for what people feel, they become sinful when they act on those feelings. So if you feel like you relate to a gender that is not yours, you can still be loved by Allah and follow His commandments and not follow haram. To give up temptations is what is rewarded. May Allah make it easy for people who are going through such temptations and keep you steadfast on your deen and do what is pleasing to your Lord.

Its is so unfair to us women that some "men" just one day change their gender and start classifying as a women. They would never know what it takes to be a women (a surgery is not enough) all the pain wonen goes through monthly the labour pain etc. The struggles we as a girl face are far more than they as a trans.
High level estrogen is not an indicator of being female. Typically females have high level estrogen and men have low level of estrogen. There are several reasons for which a man can have high estrogen level and it had many health side effects but it doesn’t change one's gender neither it is a indicator that male is actually female.

Islam has clearly mentioned that there is no third gender as transgender(years later identified herself/himself as male/female), while there is a category of people who born with mixed characteristics(do not change their sex) they are called intersex. I’ve heard all the podcast and your respective opinions on this topic now I have got a lot of questions first of all being this was an hour long podcast and all of your opinions and views were worldly beliefs and not once have you tried talking about it on a Islamic perspective which is the only way even if your views don’t match with it it doesn’t matter. Second I really think after hearing the podcast that your family had a lot negligence into this as well like first of all being you were born a man why were you given a name that was feminine? A name has a lot of impact on your life. How were you barely six years old and you knew what you felt inside? Continuing now I also strongly believe that the surroundings in your childhood have a lot of effect on your feminine and masculine characteristics maybe that was a another reason you felt more of a girl because maybe you were the only boy in a women dominating household? Etc anyways that’s that now as you grew you thought you felt a lot more women than a man and you had it checked medically which was correct now your family and you had two choices first being your choice which was wrong on a Islamic viewpoint and second being that you were born a male and you could’ve just had your testosterone levels increased medically and other means that were needed just how you medically blocked it because you “ made your mind “ because you didn’t want to now I had various explanations in the back of my head as to why you didn’t decide to do that and instead be a trans women but as soon as the podcast went ahead and Shaveer asked you said it that “ I didn’t want to “ out of choice meaning that you might’ve had the option but ye it got pretty clear that you were aware but you had made your mind and also quite surprisingly your family had no issue with it as well. What I concluded from this is that what if this was a test from Allah? And you or your family didn’t look look into it in that manner and decided to go against it I also quite didn’t understand how an a orthodox Muslim family were okay with that but okay there’s a lot of questions around this podcast but ye let’s leave it to this I’m no expert or anything but these are my views on this whole thing. Also there are a lot of comments telling Shaveer to stop promoting it and this is the second time that he’s inviting someone like them well they’re not entirely wrong a small or big part of your viewers can get influenced or enticed by this I actually want to suggest brining a scholar or an expert when you have these kind of podcasts so instead of just hearing their story people can also learn the right and Islamic way and it’ll also be fun to see counter arguments. And also maybe invite someone like Tariq Jameel or anyone honestly so people can learn more about Islam through your channel

I think that this is very clear that being a part of lgbtq is very unacceptable because this is totally prohibited in our religion ISLAM and i think if Allah has ordered something that cannot be gone against…and this is ridiculous the way people are changing their genders because if you are biologically a male or female you are meant to be that way.. It's absurd to change your gender no matter what excuse you have behind it. Only your 23rd pair of chromosomes can define your gender and nothing else. If you have one Y in it, then no matter whichever genetic, hormonal or psychological defect you're born with, your gender is MALE. No matter whichever surgery you get through, again one Y chromosome in your 23rd pair, & you are MALE by gender. Your GENES define your gender & obviously you cannot get your genes changed. Thus, being born a male, always remains a male. It is as simple as that. Dear Shahveer, this was a very sensitive topic to touch on. I appreciate you bringing it up! hey I'm curious to know as she told that she took blockers to halt the production of male hormones; on the contrary, couldn't she possibly take blockers to shut down or lower down the production of female hormones (estrogen), despite knowing that estrogen were more than testosterone. Is there any possibility of it? Do one get to choose among the genders or is it a hard wired rule to let the majority hormones take the leap and let you be someone you're biologically not.
She did it by her choice,,shahveer asked the same question,,and sha said there was a huge gap 800 and 6000,,,so she blocked the other hormone with 800 reading,,,she just needed a reason to change her gender otherwise the reverse would have been also possible,

Not sure what all the hype is. People who are born a certain way by the Will of Allah are not sinful for existing. People who change their gender from the gender Allah has assigned them are committing haram. Why is that applaudable? Being a doctor i feel obligated to clear this misconception:
1. A male can have high levels of estrogen and low levels of testosterone and live a happy life as a man. It has nothing to do with your identity and neither does these hormones force you to think or act like a female.
2. Similarly, a female can have high testosterone levels and low estrogen levels. High testosterone in females can lead to PCOS which most of you are familiar with. Again it doesn't force you to think/behave like a male.
3. Gender dysphoria is a mental health illness, it is completely treatable. Its just a fitnah in your brain which a good psychiatrist can treat through pyschotherapy.
Kindly stop making bullshit stories Shyraa if you cannot justify your identity.

I listened to the whole podcast carefully before giving any opinion so even if the whole comment box is supporting this, I cannot because Allah made everybody perfect and we are not allowed to judge it or change it the way we want that's why plastic surgeries or even plucking the eyebrows is haram so this is a huge thing. We cannot change our gender because we were uncomfortable with it, we are made by Him and we have to return to Him. I always stand with the truth so that's my opinion. I know everybody have struggles in their life and she also faced that but going against Islamic fundamentals is not right. I am sorry.

Your audience also has kids and the youth is already being very influenced by these things and im sure you didn't give any message to people that its wrong. There are many temptations around us and for some the test may be that they are attracted to being the opposite gender. People are not sinful for what people feel, they become sinful when they act on those feelings. So if you feel like you relate to a gender that is not yours, you can still be loved by Allah and follow His commandments and not follow haram. To give up temptations is what is rewarded. May Allah make it easy for people who are going through such temptations and keep you steadfast on your deen and do what is pleasing to your Lord.

Its is so unfair to us women that some "men" just one day change their gender and start classifying as a women. They would never know what it takes to be a women (a surgery is not enough) all the pain wonen goes through monthly the labour pain etc. The struggles we as a girl face are far more than they as a trans.
High level estrogen is not an indicator of being female. Typically females have high level estrogen and men have low level of estrogen. There are several reasons for which a man can have high estrogen level and it had many health side effects but it doesn’t change one's gender neither it is a indicator that male is actually female.

I’ve heard all the podcast and your respective opinions on this topic now I have got a lot of questions first of all being this was an hour long podcast and all of your opinions and views were worldly beliefs and not once have you tried talking about it on a Islamic perspective which is the only way even if your views don’t match with it it doesn’t matter. Second I really think after hearing the podcast that your family had a lot negligence into this as well like first of all being you were born a man why were you given a name that was feminine? A name has a lot of impact on your life.
How were you barely six years old and you knew what you felt inside? Continuing now I also strongly believe that the surroundings in your childhood have a lot of effect on your feminine and masculine characteristics maybe that was a another reason you felt more of a girl because maybe you were the only boy in a women dominating household? Etc anyways that’s that now as you grew you thought you felt a lot more women than a man and you had it checked medically which was correct now your family and you had two choices first being your choice which was wrong on a Islamic viewpoint and second being that you were born a male and you could’ve just had your testosterone levels increased medically and other means that were needed just how you medically blocked it because you “ made your mind “ because you didn’t want to now I had various explanations in the back of my head as to why you didn’t decide to do that and instead be a trans women but as soon as the podcast went ahead and Shaveer asked you said it that “ I didn’t want to “ out of choice meaning that you might’ve had the option but ye it got pretty clear that you were aware but you had made your mind and also quite surprisingly your family had no issue with it as well.
What I concluded from this is that what if this was a test from Allah? And you or your family didn’t look look into it in that manner and decided to go against it I also quite didn’t understand how an a orthodox Muslim family were okay with that but okay there’s a lot of questions around this podcast but ye let’s leave it to this I’m no expert or anything but these are my views on this whole thing.
Also there are a lot of comments telling Shaveer to stop promoting it and this is the second time that he’s inviting someone like them well they’re not entirely wrong a small or big part of your viewers can get influenced or enticed by this I actually want to suggest brining a scholar or an expert when you have these kind of podcasts so instead of just hearing their story people can also learn the right and Islamic way and it’ll also be fun to see counter arguments. And also maybe invite someone like Tariq Jameel or anyone honestly so people can learn more about Islam through your channel

It's absurd to change your gender no matter what excuse you have behind it. Only your 23rd pair of chromosomes can define your gender and nothing else. If you have one Y in it, then no matter whichever genetic, hormonal or psychological defect you're born with, your gender is MALE. No matter whichever surgery you get through, again one Y chromosome in your 23rd pair, & you are MALE by gender. Your GENES define your gender & obviously you cannot get your genes changed. Thus, being born a male, always remains a male. It is as simple as that.

hey I'm curious to know as she told that she took blockers to halt the production of male hormones; on the contrary, couldn't she possibly take blockers to shut down or lower down the production of female hormones (estrogen), despite knowing that estrogen were more than testosterone. People who change their gender from the gender Allah has assigned them are committing haram. Why is that applaudable? Hehe we've not,see im totally against this gender conversion thing it's haram.period. but I've seen my femme frnds go through alot of bullying. Ig the parents should encourage such children to try to develop a manly habits or wominish habits-depending whether the child is femme being a male or masculine being a female- so that the child doesn't grow up with the same desires. So like the desires Should be curbed from the beginning

They might learn to opress their feelings due to social and family pressure. But it's completely unfair. Everyone should have the right to live the way they want, dress the way they want and also the right to chose the gender of their own choice
